New.F.O.’s Danah and BoM’s Tagoon revealed to be siblings

Posted: 29 Nov 2011 03:17 AM PST

One of the members of New.F.O. has been gaining attention for having a celebrity sibling.

On November 25th, New F.O. released their debut single “Bounce” and held their first ever stage on KBS‘s “Music Bank“. Interest has been rising in this rookie girl group, especially after it was revealed that New.F.O.’s maknae Danah was the sister of BoM‘s Tagoon.

Both Tagoon (who debuted in July) and Danah are the rappers of their respective groups. The siblings have been supporting each other enthusiastically during their promotions, especially since their schedules are overlapping.

With BoM currently promoting “Dear Feeling, Dear Heart” from their 1st mini-album, Danah and Tagoon will be crossing paths backstage, not just as siblings, but as fellow competitors.

Danah expressed,

My brother has been publicizing our group by filling his personal Twitter, so much so that he has been called ‘sister stupid’. I feel strength and am thankful that as my brother and industry senior, he has been monitoring our debut even though he is busy. Since our activities are overlapping, I wish to meet him on the stage soon.

After New F.O.’s successful debut stage on KBS’s Music Bank, New F.O. has received a ‘debut stage’ stamp of approval for their solid vocals (as heard in MR-removed videos). New F.O. plans to continue promoting their title track, “Bounce”.

IU unveils music video for “You and I”

Posted: 28 Nov 2011 08:10 PM PST

Korea’s national ‘little sister’ is back with an all-new music video that plays up her youthful charm.

Like in the French film, ‘Amelie‘, IU‘s music video for “You and I” brings out elements of fantasy and ties it together with a well-crafted story. Since her album, ’Last Fantasy‘, is meant to reflect that period in her life where she bids farewell to childhood and prepares to meet maturity, the MV (also starring actor Lee Hyun Woo) does a great job in expressing that theme.

Check out her nine-minute music video below, give the rest of her album a listen, and stay tuned for IU’s comeback performances later on this week!
