One of the members of New.F.O. has been gaining attention for having a celebrity sibling.
On November 25th, New F.O. released their debut single “Bounce” and held their first ever stage on KBS‘s “Music Bank“. Interest has been rising in this rookie girl group, especially after it was revealed that New.F.O.’s maknae Danah was the sister of BoM‘s Tagoon.
Both Tagoon (who debuted in July) and Danah are the rappers of their respective groups. The siblings have been supporting each other enthusiastically during their promotions, especially since their schedules are overlapping.
With BoM currently promoting “Dear Feeling, Dear Heart” from their 1st mini-album, Danah and Tagoon will be crossing paths backstage, not just as siblings, but as fellow competitors.
After New F.O.’s successful debut stage on KBS’s Music Bank, New F.O. has received a ‘debut stage’ stamp of approval for their solid vocals (as heard in MR-removed videos). New F.O. plans to continue promoting their title track, “Bounce”.

Nine Muses will be making their comeback next month with a new member!
The girl group made their debut last year with their single, “No Playboy“. Originally comprised of nine members (hence the name), Rana, Bini, and Jaekyung left the group to pursue individual careers. In August, Nine Muses added a new girl named Hyuna, and made a comeback with “Figaro“.

A Star Empire representative stated, “Nine Muses will make a comeback in early December as a 8-member unit. They already finished their title track preparations with SweetTune. The new member not only has the looks, but also has talent. The other members are working hard and practicing every day, and they promise to return with an improved image.”

A few days ago, we reported that the MBC variety show ‘Infinity Challenge‘ had broken 17,000 applications for their latest project, ‘I Am Kind of a Singer’, which will be a parody of the mega-hit survival variety show, ‘I Am a Singer‘.
Although that number was impressive in itself, the show drew attention when, just four days later, it crossed the 100,000 application threshold as of the morning of November 29th in Korea.
The show is expected to shut down application requests today. From the enormous pool of applicants, the producers will select a lucky 300 and invite them to the recording, which is slated to take place on December 15th.

Korea’s national ‘little sister’ is back with an all-new music video that plays up her youthful charm.
Like in the French film, ‘Amelie‘, IU‘s music video for “You and I” brings out elements of fantasy and ties it together with a well-crafted story. Since her album, ’Last Fantasy‘, is meant to reflect that period in her life where she bids farewell to childhood and prepares to meet maturity, the MV (also starring actor Lee Hyun Woo) does a great job in expressing that theme.
Check out her nine-minute music video below, give the rest of her album a listen, and stay tuned for IU’s comeback performances later on this week!
