Kim Hyung Jun has a racy bed scene in ‘She’s Completely Insane’

Posted: 08 Jan 2012 05:10 AM PST

SS501‘s maknae Kim Hyung Jun has made a complete transformation into an ‘adult idol’ for his KBS drama, ‘She’s Completely Insane‘!

The pilot episode aired on January 7th, and fans were in for a surprise with Kim Hyung Jun’s dramatic image change into the arrogant top star ‘Kangmin’. Unlike his sweet maknae image, he carried his character with a suave flair that fans weren’t quite accustomed to yet. Some scenes saw him holding back his anger with a glass of whiskey while others saw him reacting angrily to officials that make mistakes towards him.

The scene that caught the most attention, however, was one that required a bed scene between him and his CF partner, Song Hyo Bin. Although there wasn’t any exposure, the erotic atmosphere of the set was enough to show fans how much their maknae had grown.

His company explained, “The scene was one that was needed to progress the plot so we hope that people will just view it for what it is: acting.”

Viewers praised, “Kim Hyung Jun’s acting exceeded my expectations,” and “I think he’ll achieve more success as an actor.”

Gong Yoo & Jung Yumi take real ‘Crucible’ students on a two-day vacation

Posted: 08 Jan 2012 01:57 AM PST

Gong Yoo, Jung Yumi, and author Gong Ji Young recently visited the real victims of their film, ‘Crucible (Silenced)‘.

The film, originally a novel by Gong Ji Young, is a real life account based on child molestation endured by students at a disabled children’s school. The events took place in Gwangju from 2001 to 2005, and later became a novel as well as a movie to bring more attention to the case.

On January 8th, representatives of the actors revealed that they had taken the 38 students on a two-day trip to Seoul. Gong Yoo and Jung Yumi brought along snacks and gifts to create memories for the students, stopping to chat and take pictures along the way.

The event was organized by a Twitter volunteer leader named Jung Sang Soo, who first suggested the idea to the producer of the ‘Crucible’. Jung had previously taken the children to see a ‘Nanta‘ performance upon hearing that they could feel the vibrations of the performance, which was provided free of charge.

Plenty of people have stepped up to lend their support to the students, creating petitions on Daum Agora and gathering donations to provide them with school supplies and other needs. Together, they had raised about $1,400 USD.

The CEO took the opportunity to thank everyone who had helped, expressing, “YG Entertainment sent a bus over with autographed CDs of their artists, Big Bang and 2NE1. SM Entertainment also provided tickets to the ‘Open Your Eyes’ theater show starring gagman Lee Dong Woo. Lee Dong Woo performed more passionately than ever before. The company also provided autographed CDs by Girls’ Generation.”

He continued, “We received so much help and gifts, including travel bags, stylists, cosmetics companies, clothing, letters, and the B2ST members’ autographed CDs.”

Jung Ryeo Won is timeless and chic for Harper’s Bazaar magazine

Posted: 08 Jan 2012 01:17 AM PST

Though she currently plays a rambunctious character in SBS’s new drama ‘Salaryman Choi Han Ji‘, actress Jung Ryeo Won showed a more subdued charm for her photoshoot with Harper’s Bazaar magazine.

In her pictorial, Jung Ryeo Won looked timeless and chic. Her outfits were simple in color, but were rescued from looking blase thanks to different patterns and textures.

For example, in one photo, the actress wore a lacy black dress with furry embellishments on top for an effect that’s both classic and luxurious.  In another shot, she wore a winter day look that could be found on a college campus. A cropped tweed jacket adds a sense of fun, while her long leather jacket and quilted clutch lend a modern touch to the conservative style.

Jung Ryeo Won went for a ‘makeup-free’ look, but balanced it out by wearing a gold headband.

A representative from her label replied, “This is a 2011 December pictorial. It’s a completely different look and feel to her character in the drama, so I think she’s receiving a lot of attention for it”.

‘Salaryman Choi Han Ji’ airs every Monday and Tuesday, so be sure to check out Jung Ryeo Won acting alongside Lee Bum Soo, Jung Gyu Woon and Hong Soo Hyun!

Posted: 08 Jan 2012 12:31 AM PST

While taking care of an abandoned dog named Quick for KBS’s ‘Birth of a Family‘, A Pink learned the shocking news that their pup required surgery for his knees.

The girls took him to the animal hospital after noticing that something was wrong with his legs. They explained to the vet that Quick wasn’t able to jump onto the sofa as usual, which made the vet examine Quick’s knees. He discovered dislocated knee caps on its hind legs and explained that Quick required a procedure to shave the bone, which could be painful.

Upon hearing the diagnosis, the girls shed a few tears and with a heavy heart, sent Quick in to surgery room. They waited outside nervously, and after three hours, A Pink were let back in.

Leader Cho Rong could not hold back her tears after seeing Quick lying on the table, who was whimpering as the anaesthetics wore off.

The girls were able to bring Quick back home soon afterwards.

After School’s UEE to be absent from “2012 Idol Star Athletics & Swimming Championship”

Posted: 07 Jan 2012 11:13 PM PST

After School‘s UEE will not be participating again in this year’s ‘Idol Star Athletics & Swimming Championship’.

The swimming component was added last year after UEE, who participated in the ‘Idol Athletics Championship’, had requested the program to include an event for swimmers. Although UEE was the driving force behind the addition, she was unable to participate in the event last year.

Fans who were looking forward to seeing the After School idol in this year’s round will be disappointed at the news that she will not take part in it once again. It’s suspected that UEE, with her on-going drama ‘Ojakgyo Brothers‘ and her new MC duties on ‘Music Bank‘, will be too busy to take part.

On January 7th, a total of 14 girl group members participated in the private filming of MBC’s upcoming holiday special.

Participants this year will include Nine Muses Euaerin, Eunji, and Minha, Rainbow‘s Go Woori and No Eul, Girl’s Day‘s Sojin and Minah, Dal Shabet‘s Ga Eun, After School‘s Lizzy, A Pink‘s Nam Ju, Rania‘s T-ae, T-ara‘s Hwayoung, SISTAR‘s Dasom, and many others. The only solo singer to compete this year will be NS Yoon-G.

Stay tuned for more updates!

INFINITE’s Sungjong rebels cutely against leader Sunggyu

Posted: 07 Jan 2012 10:40 PM PST

INFINITE‘s maknae Sungjong cutely rebelled against leader Sunggyu.

On the January 7th broadcast of KBS‘s ‘Birth of a Family‘, Sunggyu was abandoned by the rest of the members to watch over their three dogs.

The members left without Sunggyu to watch a movie and enjoy a break from their schedules. The leader tried to call the members, but it was to no avail, as they had turned off their phones on purpose.

When Sungjong finally called him, Sunggyu barked ,”Hey, you traitors!” Laughing, Sungjong asked, “Hyung, are you holding up okay?“, to which Sunggyu replied, “Hurry up and come [home]!

Maknae Sungjong only made Sunggyu even angrier as he relayed Woohyun‘s message to Sunggyu, “Don’t make me laugh.” He also rubbed it in further by asking Sunggyu, “Did you finish doing everything you’re supposed to?… Call us when you’re done.” Sunggyu’s voice started getting low as he threatened, “Are you playing with me right now?” To which the other members laughed as they answered, “Yes, we are.”

The phone call ended and once again, Sunggyu was left alone completing chores by himself as he struggled to feed, wash, and walk the three dogs.

You can check out the phone conversation in the video (below around the 1:23 mark):

T-ara is tired of eating fast food

Posted: 07 Jan 2012 10:11 PM PST

After making their “Lovey Dovey” comeback on MBC‘s ‘Music Core‘, T-ara shared backstage photos after rehearsals of themselves scarfing down a quick meal.

The girls revealed that they haven’t been able to eat proper meals because of their busy schedules and mostly resort to ordering delivered meals for brunch. They expressed, “We always eat delivered meals, which isn’t enough so it’s so difficult for us. We want to eat other more delicious food.”

They also expressed concerns over Eunjung‘s ankle injury, especially since she had been taking painkillers to suppress the pain on stage, and wished for a speedy recovery.

Their hard work is paying off, though, as they’ve already achieved an ‘all kill’ while still maintaining their #1 positions on Melon, Mnet, Daum, Naver, and Gom TV.

Netizens commented, “Your stage is so exciting!“, “I can’t help but following along“, “Love the song“, and “Another national dance following ‘Roly Poly‘!“.
