[INTERVIEW] B1A4“opening a solo concert within the year is our goal”!

Posted: 14 Apr 2012 06:46 AM PDT

They are not boys. But even more so, there isn't a manly scent coming from them. They are missing their lover during the transition period of turning into a man from a boy. This is the look of the idol group, B1A4, who has come back more fiercely with their first official full-length album, 'IGNITION'.
The five members, who make a perfect stage with fantastic performances and singing abilities that are not shaky at all, are ordinary young, 20 year olds when they aren't on stage. B1A4, who are honest and friendly, recently met up with our magazine at a road studio in Nonhyeon-dong and talked about their music story.
Their title song, 'Baby I'm Sorry', is a song where their leader, Jinyoung, personally participated in the writing, composing, and arranging of it. It has a strong trance rhythm along with a drumbeat bass sound as the base and it has a melody that will stay in your mind even if you listen to it once and stands out with Jinyoung's own uniquely composed, touching lyrics.
And not only Jinyoung, but the other members such as Baro and CNU, also participated for the writing, composing, and arranging for 8 of the 11 songs from the album, showing their singer-songwriter aspects.

"When I first heard 'Baby I'm Sorry', it was really fresh and new. Because the song was good, I gained greed in wanting to make the stage even more perfectly. While listening to this song, I talked together with the members about the concept, how we'll create the stage, and stage clothes. Since all the members participated in this, I feel more attached to it." (Sandeul)

"If all of our past songs were to inform people of B1A4's name, 'Baby I'm Sorry' is the beginning step in informing people of B1A4's own colors. I think this is the album that will be the stepping stone in allowing us to go one step closer towards the audience." (Gongchan)

"It's been awhile since we made this song. I have been with Jinyoung for around 4 years, but ever since then, Jinyoung started learning composition. If you look at Jinyoung's cellphone, there are over 300 melodies that he recorded. I think those constant efforts became the stepping stone in creating the title song. As a member of the same group, I'm quite proud." (CNU)

"Because we've been with the members for a long time, we know what each of our personal tendencies are. I think that helped a lot in creating a title song that would fit B1A4 well. Because we showed a lot of fresh and cheerful images during our past albums, we wanted to show a matured and more developed side of B1A4 this time." (Jinyoung)

Matching well with the nickname of 'countryside-dols', all of the B1A4 members are from the countryside, which is far from Seoul. What was the first meeting for these people like, united together with their different tendencies and charms?

"Before Gongchan came up (to Seoul), a representative from our company told us that there would be a good-looking kid from Soonchun, so I really anticipated it a lot. With a nervous heart, I was in the practice room when Gongchan opened the door and came in. Gongchan had the asymmetrical hairstyle, which was slightly popular at that time, and dark skin. Although I thought he looked similar to Kim Namgil-sshi, he wasn't as good looking as I expected him to be." (Baro)

"At first, CNU hyung had a very sophisticated look with a perm and a jacket on. As soon as I saw him, I thought 'he's really cool'. However, as time passed and as I got to know CNU hyung, his image started drifting farther away from what I first saw him as. I'll just put that image up to your thoughts." (Gongchan)
"I have a fun memory with Sandeul. Before I met Sandeul, I saw a video of him when he went out on a song festival. A representative from the company called me and said, "This kid came from Busan, but he has a tattoo on his arm and is a really scary kid. I picked him because he's good at singing." At that time, all the members believed this. But when we met him, there was a really innocent, laughing boy. We were tricked." (CNU)

"Before going up to Seoul, I saw Jinyoung hyung for the first time through a video call and he was really good-looking. But he said that if I come up to Seoul, there will be someone even more good-looking than Jinyoung hyung. Sure enough, there was Gongchan behind Jinyoung hyung. I lost all my words. Truthfully, I was low in spirits because there were four good-looking people grouped together. During our first meeting, I sang in front of the members at our dorm and the reason I sang was to not let my spirits go low." (Sandeul)

"As soon as I saw Baro, I thought that he looked similar to Park Haeil-sshi. And although his face is cute, he's someone that likes hip-hop, so as soon as I saw him, I had a feeling of, 'He'll probably be the rapper.'" (Jinyoung)

CNU currently appears as Shinwoo, the idol of female students at his school in the KBS2 daily sitcom, 'I Need a Fairy', but he only looks at Cha Nara (played by Woori).

With his sturdy acting abilities and speaking tone, CNU plays his character well and he successfully set his first foot out towards being an actor while capturing the hearts of noonas.
"Since it's my first time acting, I had worries in needing to do well and because I needed to inform people of our team and show a more developed side of myself, I was really worried. However, because I'm the youngest and since it's my first time acting, all the seniors treat me warmly on set as if they were treating a younger sibling. So I can now enjoy filming without any worries." (CNU)

Whenever CNU comes to the loud dorm after being at quiet filmings, he thinks, 'B1A4 is really one'. He explained that even when they are separated for a short amount of time due to filming, he feels really empty and misses the members.
"Whenever CNU hyung returns from filming, he holds us back and talks to us. Saying, 'I really feel like we're one'. That's why I could feel that hyung really loves us." (Sandeul)
After revealing their debut album, 'Let's Fly', in April of last year, they waited a short term before releasing another new song. I asked if they feel tired with their busy schedules, but all five of the members shook their heads instead.
"Although the break time was shorter compared to other groups, even that time feels long to us. Whenever we would watch music program while resting, we want to hurry and go on stage to show the public our side." (Jinyoung)

"I think resting is harder for us. I got in trouble because I wanted to promote even while preparing for the full-length album." (Baro)
To finish up, I listened to B1A4's goals and hopes.
"Our goal is to get 1st place on a music program with our song. We'll work harder in promoting and make that goal come true." (CNU)

"There are solo songs for Baro and I in this album. Through this, we plan to show B1A4's personal capabilities." (Sandeul)

"There is a goal that all of the B1A4 members want to make come true. And that is tp have a concert under our name. It's something that each of us really dreamed about even prior to debuting. In order to do that, we need to really work hard for this album's promotions." (Baro)

B1A4, who gave off a lively and healthy atmosphere during the entire interview. I look forward to see these five young males, who are bright and honest, place their goals one by one onto a white canvas and grow into an idol group that represents Korea.

[NEWS] Fashion Designer Richard Chai Likes 2NE1 and Big Bang

Posted: 14 Apr 2012 06:30 AM PDT

Richard Chai plans to finally get some vacation time after he presents his collection. Where's he going? "Maybe somewhere I can actually look like someone in my show," he says laughing. He's been unable to make it the beach all summer. Chai will present both his men's and women's spring/ summer collections together today for the first time. "Tons of color, kind of an eye explosion" is how he describes the clothes, a break from last year's more sombre palette. Chai's been loving Korean pop, like the girl band 2NE1(look them up!) and he's also more confident than ever before. We find him amid castings, taking a break on the fire escape.

This go around, he's excited to look for some new faces. "It used to be about major girls to give your show credibility. Now, it can be about the message, about the point of view being right." This means championing thoughtful beauties with substance. Chai cites his friend Pace Gallery's Nicola Vassell as example. There's one more thing he wants to champion and that's the diversity among New York's fashion talent. Sometimes, everyone's quick to try and categorize a moment with a generalized heading like, say, Asian designers. Chai says we can lump together the Antwerp Six, as they all came from the one school, and the same may be said of the Junya-Comme clan, but this group isn't a similar "collective." Chai points out even the subtle difference in that Phillip Lim and Alexander Wang are from the West Coast while he grew up on the East Coast. "It's great to be recognized," he says, "but not as a movement. We're all so individual with different backgrounds."

=====

In another article, Richard Chai also said that in today's KPOP industry, he likes both 2NE1 and Big Bang.

Richard Chai is an American fashion designer. Chai creates clothes for an eponymous label. Before launching his own line, he designed for Marc by Marc Jacobs.

[NEWS] Noel To Make Comeback In April

Posted: 14 Apr 2012 06:00 AM PDT

It's already been almost half a year since Noel made their long-awaited comeback in October of last year. It was the first time the group released anything in five years!

The members had to halt their activities due to some of them having to serve out their mandatory military duties in 2007.

Well, after a successful run with their song "I Miss You I Miss You", the balladeers will be making another comeback this month.

Noel's agency, ITM Entertainment announced that the group is working hard to release an album to pay back their fans for all the love they gave Noel last year. The company also coyly teased the public by saying the new album fits perfectly with Noel's style and the spring season vibe.

The new album will hit shelves April 19th.

INTERVIEW] B1A4, chatterbox ‘sprout-dols’ who are overflowing with musical talent!

Posted: 14 Apr 2012 05:48 AM PDT

B1A4 threw away their fresh boy image and came back as young men through their first official full-length album, 'IGNITION'.

B1A4 shows off their masculinity on stage with their title song, 'Baby I'm Sorry', which is created with a strong electronic and rock sound combined together.
However, they were 'chatterbox-dols', who showed off their talking skills to the point where I felt like I was watching a variety show broadcast and not meeting up with them personally to have an interview. When I throw out a question, they all interfer with each other so they can answer it and then the topic ends up straying off.
However, when they talk about 'music', B1A4's expressions turn more serious than anyone else and I could feel a musician's passion unlike past idol groups.

As if they were confirming this truth, there are songs in B1A4's official full-length 1st album, 'IGNITION', where they personally participated in the writing, composing, and producing of. Their title song, 'Baby I'm Sorry', is one of them.

"It's a song that expresses the sadness of breaking up with a cheerful melody and beat. I composed it and wrote it together with Sandeul. We wanted to show our passion and B1A4's own colors. I was sad during our first and second mini-album promotion time because I heard often that we were a group that relied on visuals." (Jinyoung)
"While recording this time, we fixed things around a lot and put a more sincere effort into it. Our greed to do good was large." (CNU)

"In this album, I have a solo song, but I wanted to capture the mood while recording so I turned off all the lights and turned on a small light so that all I could see were the lyrics and then started to sing by myself. But suddenly, someone hit my arm. I was scared so I immediately turned on the lights and ran outside. But they say that you'll become a big hit if you see a ghost. Seems like this album will do well." (Sandeul)

When I asked if a lot of copyright payment comes in (for the songs), Jinyoung cut me off and answered that he didn't make the song with that as a goal, so he doesn't have any interest in the financial aspects of it.

"Truthfully, I thought that financial happiness would come to me if I wrote a good song like Jinyoung hyung, so I tried it out, but I really couldn't do it. Seems like you can't make it with that kind of mindset. (Laughter)" (Sandeul)

B1A4 are called 'blood-dols' because they made up of one blood type B and four blood type A's, they're called 'countryside-dols' because all of the members come from the countryside, and they're also 'sprout-dols' after garnering attention with the 'sprout dance' that they showed on a variety program.

"I like the nickname of 'countryside-dols' the most. Because I don't think I've seen a team where the members are all from the countryside." (Gongchan)

"Because I'm the founder of the 'sprout dance', I like 'sprout-dols'. It was a dance that came out of impulse while we were practicing, but the response was unexpectedly good. I'm creating a new dance nowadays as well, but it isn't as easy as I thought it would be." (Baro)

There should have been oppositions from their families of them promoting as singers while living far away from their families, but the B1A4 members said that their families actually actively supported them.
"My mother was a trot singer, but she was against me doing music. I got caught going to a music class with the money that she gave me for extra learning classes, and she set out pork feet then called me over, but she ended up giving me permission to try my hardest. (Laughter)" (CNU)

"Because my mother was part of a chorus ensemble, she taught me how to sing. Ever since I was younger, I would follow her to a karaoke room and receive the grade from there as well. My father told me it was a useless thing to do, but after I became a singer, he brags about me and says, 'that's my son'."(Sandeul)

"My mother did vocal music and my father played the guitar. Because I had a lot of interest in the celebrity industry, they made me a children's clothing model ever since I was little. I secretly did my first audition alone, but after finding out that I made the 1st cut by chance, they told me that I should have told them earlier. Then they took me to a dermatologist and bought me clothes. They also put me on a diet." (Baro)

B1A4 is actively promoting in other departments besides music. CNU is in the KBS 2TV daily sitcom, 'I Need a Fairy', while Baro is a fixed MC on Y-STAR's 'God of Cookery Road'.

"Because CNU hyung's character in the sitcom is too perfect, I don't like him. He's not even like that at all in real life." (Sandeul)
"Although he's like that in sitcoms as well, it's really funny to watch everyone try to show off their pose on stage. In the dorms, we all just walk around wearing one piece of underwear, so when people who don't know that see us on stage, they'll just think that we look cool." (Baro)

"But seeing everyone's concentrated side is really cool. I thought that Sandeul hyung looked really cool when I saw his featuring stage for Haha senior. Recently, Haha senior was tearing up and was thanking Sandeul hyung after his stage was over, but it was something I only heard from Sandeul hyung, so I don't know if it is true. (Laughter)" (Gongchan)

Just like how it's the trend for idol groups to promote as models, actors, and variety show people and not just singers, B1A4 didn't show their greed in wanting to try out other departments as well.

"All five of us like acting, so we all want to try it out. I personally would like to appear in a movie and act as a really unique character." (Jinyoung)

"I want to act as a soldier in a war movie. Truthfully, my dream was originally to be an actor, not a singer. And I had dreams of being a soldier when I was younger as well." (Baro)

"I stood on a fashion show before as a model, but it was really a fun experience. Although it was a bit lonely to be alone without the members." (Gongchan)
However, the largest task for B1A4 is to secure their position as a singer. Their goal this year is to get 1st place on a music broadcast and to win a Bonsang award during an end-of-the-year award ceremony.

"We want to hold a solo concert under our name. If we want all these goals to come true, we'll have to work even harder than we do now. Continue to look over us in the future as well!" (Jinyoung)

[INTERVIEW] B1A4 “flip it down, flip it up, do you know what that is in our dialect?”

Posted: 14 Apr 2012 05:23 AM PDT

> Fierce male-dols? Pleasant countryside-dols from Choongju, Cheongju, Busan, Gwangju, and Soonchun.
> Enter as noonas' 'romance-dols'—- We want to show our skills
> We want to get 1st place with our first official full-length album, 'IGNITION'

"I was sad when they would say we're a group that relies on visuals during our first and second mini album."
I met with the five members of the 'flower boy' group, B1A4, who are in the middle of promoting their new song, 'Baby I'm Sorry', after releasing their first official full-length album, 'IGNITION'.
Last year, they had a record of selling over 100,000 copies with just their two mini albums, 'Let's Fly' and 'it B1A4'. Thanks to that, they were able to grasp onto the newcomer award at the '2012 High1 Seoul Music Awards' in January and the newcomer male group award at the '2012 Gaon Chart K-POP Awards' in February.
Before meeting the five males, Jinyoung (21), CNU (21), Sandeul (20), Baro (20), Gongchan (19), I had a prejudiced mind that they would be "a fierce male, prince-like group with many noona fans". However, after meeting them, I found out they were from various places such as Choongju, Cheongju, Busan, Gwangju, and Soonchun. The more I got to know them, the more pleasant young men they became to be.

Q: You came from different places, so is there an episode that happened when you first met?
"We were before 'Infinity Challenge'." (Jinyoung), "We played face down, face up and it was really funny because all of us used our own dialect for it. Busan would be 'Jaendi~', Soonchun would be 'place it this way, that way, whichever way it goes', Gwangju would be 'pick a side, pick a side', Choongju would be 'sky, sky, ground', and Cheongju would be 'flip it up, flip it down, flip it up, flip it down." [T/N: a game where you use flip over your hands to either side, but the name of the game changes from where you're from. I didn't do this justice, but you get the gist] (Everyone)
"Because a sprout grew from the potato, because a leaf grew, rock, paper, scissors~ This is different from each region too." (CNU), "Choongju's version is easy. Because a sprout grew from the potato, because a leaf grew, vroom vroom shot!" (Jinyoung), "Busan's choice of words is funny. Because a sprout grew from the potato, because a leaf grew, potato potato bbyong." (Sandeul)
Their title song, 'Baby I'm Sorry', is a song that expresses the sadness of a break up through a cheerful melody and beats. Although it's electronic overall, rock sounds were added in some parts as well. Their music video, which was showed on Youtube, reached over 1.5 million views in 3 weeks. They also had their name placed next to the 7th place spot on a music broadcast.

Q: What kind of reaction do you want to receive through this album?
"There are people that tell us that we've really come back as men and then there are those who say that we still have our freshness. We aimed for that middle spot where you're on the way of turning into a young male from a boy. Hearing that we're macho or beastly, is strange. If I was to describe this in a color, I think it's the stage where we're about to turn into a vivid color after being a pastel tone." (Jinyoung)

Q: Why did you happen to comeback during the same time that tremendous singers such as Big Bang and SHINee did?
"We planned to come out in January, but it was delayed because there weren't really any songs we liked. In January, we were still telling our company that we should create a full-length album. It was when we weren't definitely prepared yet." (Sandeul)
B1A4's fandom is tremendous to the point where they got 1st place in support rankings on their fancafe portal (78,000 members). After the 'Idol Sports Competition incident', their fans were given a bad name. The Idol Sports Competition incident is talking about the clash between their fans and Dalshabet fans during recordings for MBC's Lunar New Year special, 'Idol Sports Competition'. Although there were rumors of rape and kidnapping on the internet, the police investigated it and found out that it was only a lie.

Q: There was an incident with another group's fandom during the recording for 'Idol Sports Competition', right?
"It was really sad to see our fans shown like that. Because it was the first time something like that happened, we were really taken aback and surprised, so just how bad would it have been for the fans. My heart really hurt. If words are misunderstood, I think it can become quite a scary thing." (CNU)

Q: How is B1A4's fandom?
"I think the amount of how much they like us is really big. They monitor us like professionals and endlessly support us." (CNU), "I used to mainly read criticism posts because I wanted to improve, but I tend to read support posts more often now. Because I'm proud and feel a sense of achievement, a feeling to do better shot up." (Sandeul)

Q: Is there a post you remember?
"A time when I feel that our fans are amazing is when they rationally tell us our negative points. They tell us things like, 'I think the amount of comfort you have in your heart while singing is lacking', and after seeing that, we fix it and it becomes strength to us too." (CNU), "I get surprised when I see posts that seem like a professional's reaction such as, 'That angle isn't pretty on broadcasts. Fans want this kind of angle and side.' When we listen to the criticisms and fix them, fans say, 'Oppa, you probably saw the post I wrote. You most definitely probably saw it. Thank you'. So without even knowing, I would start writing, 'I saw it', and then erase it." (Baro)

Q: B1A4 is classified as 'noonas' romance-dols'.
"I think CNU would have a lot of popularity among noonas." (The rest of the members)

Q: Baro-sshi, isn't participating in 'God of Cookery Road' difficult? It's a variety show where you have to eat.
"I tell what I honestly feel at that moment. However, it's really delicious most of the time. Besides when I'm clear of what I like and dislike and when it's strange because I'm eating something for the first time. It's a good program where I can also restore my body's health once a week. Foods with coriander in it are very hard and strange for me to eat. They told me they casted me because the way I ate was very pleasant." (Baro)

Q: The main MC of 'God of Cookery Road', Jung Junha-sshi, is getting married.
"Junha hyung is so happy lately that adlibs continuously come out. I congratulated him. I will make sure to go to his wedding. He told me to come." (Baro)

Q: Everyone eats well, but are everyone's bodies good as well?
"Truthfully, I have a lot of fat. I didn't know why our stylist director only gave me wide and baggy clothes. I asked why it's always so baggy even after zipping the zipper or closing the buttons, but they told me it's to cover up my body. I have quite a bit of hidden fat." (Sandeul)
Right then, Baro exposed Sandeul as said, "Sandeul eats more compared to how much he moves." To that, Sandeul responded, "If I lose weight, I'll look like a skeleton so I purposely eat more." When the reporter touched Sandeul's side fat and acted like he was surprised, everyone laughed. Once I said that the cute side fats are called love-handles and that girls like it, Sandeul was happy.
"Really? Those words are like a ray of light to me. Thank you. Seems like I won't have to lose weight. There's nothing I can do now. Hahaha." (Sandeul)

Q: Are you keeping up well with your health, which is an essential element for an idol?
"Rather than shaping up our bodies, health is more important for this group. And our weight and body are maintained somewhat through practice. We haven't prepared six-packs or muscles yet. Even if we do exercise, it's not to create muscles, but for our health. We sleep a lot the day before a performance as well. That way, we can think up ideas better." (Everyone)

Q: Everyone's personalities seem bright.
"Sandeul is the most social. Although Gongchan is the youngest, he's serious. However, when he's with the hyungs, he has a lot of aegyo. Because he's the oldest in his family, he takes care of the hyungs well. Baro is our team's vitamin. He talks a lot in real life and is really witty. CNU has a twist of a charm. He talks slow since he's from Choongcheong-dong, but he makes everyone explode in laughter." (Jinyoung)
"Jinyoung hyung is a positive person. He teaches the team members. Since he is the team's leader, he gives us a more positive strength." (Sandeul), "I've known him for 3 years, but even I'm turning positive." (CNU), "Everyone was worried prior to our comeback, but Jinyoung hyung said, 'Hey, don't worry. Everything's going to go well' and I trusted our leader and followed him." (Baro)
"If you're negative, nothing good will happen. You need to be positive in order for something to at least happen in the middle if it doesn't go well. I believe that the team's mood and mind need to be positive in order for everything to go well." (Jinyoung)
Their team name means that there's one blood type B (Baro) and the other four have the blood type of A. They say their rival is the 'BC Card' (T/N: a Korean credit card company). Sandeul laughed and said, "When you type in 'B' in a portal site's search engine, BC Card used to be the first thing that came out. However, B1A4 started coming out first too. We're always nervous because we think we'll lose to BC Card if they have an event. We need to work harder."
"Although it may be hard if you say 'B1A4', it's easy to remember if you understand the meaning and origin of it. It will help elders as well. When we wear our stage clothes and go to a restaurant, people think that we look like celebrities but they aren't sure of who we are. So when we explain our team name then, they remember us next time as well." (Baro)

Q: CNU tried out acting through 'I Need a Fairy' (although he's the school's kingka, he's a guy that shrinks in front of the girl he likes).
"Cha Inpyo senior is really cool. Ah, there was a funny incident. I was waiting in the waiting room for the sitcom's production ceremony, he said (while impersonating his tone), 'Hey, CNU-yah, do you know how to do the shuffle dance? Dance it for me'. I danced it without music." (CNU)

Q: B1A4 all do not have cellphones, isn't it uncomfortable?
"Besides one thing, it's not uncomfortable. When we want to order something to eat in the middle of the night or check something we ordered on the internet. It's urgent." (Baro)

Q: You order things to eat in the middle of the night even when you're an idol group?
"We maintain our bodies by ourselves. If we look chubby on the camera, we control the amount we eat and if we lose weight, we eat deliciously to the point where it's good to look at." (Baro), "We're allowed to eat up to 6000 won for each meal, but there isn't a price limit when our CEO comes and buys us a late-night snack. We're happy then. Our CEO doesn't really pressure us about our bodies either. Since we all do well on our own." (Everyone)

Q: CNU confessed that his ideal type was f(x)'s Krystal, but what are the ideal types for everyone else?
"A girl who only loves me. I dream of a movie-like love. I hope there would be something special that would happen even if we fall in love." (Jinyoung), "A girl who's heart is as wide and warm as my mom's and can take care of me. I was just saying that I feel for Krystal's charisma on stage, but they just concluded it like that on the broadcast." (CNU), "A girl who I can converse easily with and who works her best at what she works in. (Baro), "A girl who is normally chic and cold, but shows a lot of aegyo towards only me." (Gongchan), "I like a girl who shines when she does her job. (When the reporter asked whether or not they like glamour, he responded) Just why are you doing this to me? Haha." (Sandeul)

Q: What do you think the secret is to having so much popularity among overseas fans?
"We were created into a comic prior to our debut. Fans translated it into various languages. I think that's why we were accepted easily overseas as well. It's really the strength of fans." (Everyone)

Q: What's your goal?
"Getting 1st place on a music broadcast, winning a Bonsang award during an end-of-the-year award, and opening our own solo concert." (Everyone)

[NEWS] Park Jung-min wants contract voided

Posted: 14 Apr 2012 05:15 AM PDT

Park Jung-min from the defunct boy band SS501 has asked a court to nullify the exclusive representation agreement he signed with his agency.

The star alleges that CNR Media is not paying him as agreed, but the contract he signed prevents him from working elsewhere.

The agency has only paid Park 150 million won ($132,450), the star said, and he seeks further compensation from the company, though he didn't specify how much he wants in the court filing.

Since the days of SS501, Park has been active as an actor in Taiwan and Japan. Last year, Park headed concerts in Tokyo and Osaka, Japan, over Christmas. But unless his exclusive contract is nullified, he cannot officially sign with another agency.

After five years together, the five members of SS501 decided to separate and pursue individual careers as musicians and actors.

Last year, Park released two EP albums: a dance album by the name of "Not Alone" in January and an eponymous EP in April.
