The May 26th episode of ‘Immortal Song 2′ was a ‘Yoon Hang Ki & Yoon Bok Hee‘ special and Ailee gave a different spin to Yoon Hang Ki’s 1974 hit, “What Am I Supposed To Do“.
The rookie singer shocked the audience members by stepping on stage wearing a wedding dress, and she got into character for her performance, and a male actor came on stage for the beginning of her performance.
After watching her performance, MC Moon Hee Jun remarked that it was like watching a melo-dramatic film with a strong plot, and Yoon Bok Hee gave Ailee a thumbs up saying, “I was so shocked. It was truly the best.”

The band recently filmed for ’Yoon Do Hyun’s Must‘, and discussed idol group music as well as impressions people seem to have of them.
During their interview, host Yoon Do Hyun mentioned, “Because Nell doesn’t appear on many broadcasts, there are a lot of assumptions and misunderstandings about them.” It seems that many assume that Nell would not listen to idol group music. However, Nell stressed, “We have a lot of interest in idol group music,” and revealed that the members are fans of Girls’ Generation.
Regarding a song on Girls’ Generation’s first album, guitarist Lee Jae Kyung said, “After listening to the track ‘Complete‘, I loved it so much to the point where I thought, ‘No one can sing this pop in our country’.” Vocalist Kim Jong Wan also stated, “Back then and even now, I like Girls’ Generation the most,” while drummer Jung Jae Won admitted, “I like Tiffany.” The talk continued until all the members confessed their love for the girls.
The audience and staff were reported to be surprised when Nell showed their knowledge of Girls’ Generation’s music, including their lesser-known tracks.
In addition to the discussion about Girls’ Generation and idol music, Nell performed “Standing in the Rain” as well as other hits. This episode of ‘Yoon Do Hyun’s Must’ aired on May 26 at midnight KST on Mnet.

There are reports that the comebacks of these powerhouse idol groups in late June and early July do not bode well for upcoming artists. All three groups have proven themselves to be worthy adversaries in the K-Pop world as they’ve won first place on music television programs in addition to achieving all-kills on music charts.
2NE1 is slated to return with an album in mid-June. The YG Entertainment group is known to have had all-kills on music charts with their tracks: “Don’t Cry“, “Lonely“, “I Am The Best“, “Hate You“, and “Ugly“.
Idol group B2ST is expected to be making their comeback towards the end of June. They’re said to be in the final stages of their album production, though no official announcement has been made yet. B2ST is known to stand out in terms of music and performance quality. The group enjoyed success with their track “On Rainy Days” last year when they won first place with the song on KBS‘s ‘Music Bank‘. In addition to this, B2ST’s ballad and dance tracks have done well on music charts.
Last but not least, T-ara is scheduled to make their comeback on July 7. T-ara, whose popularity skyrocketed after they reached number one on music programs for the very first time with hit track “Roly Poly“, have proven themselves as stiff competition. Fans are highly anticipating their upcoming single “Day by Day“, which will be choreographed by Jonte Moaning. The choreographer is famous for working on “Single Ladies” with Beyonce in the past. T-ara will be returning as an 8-member group with the addition of another member at a later time.
A music representative recently pointed out that June might be a bad month for new hopeful artists. “If they avoid Big Bang and Wonder Girls, who will comeback in early June, they [will be facing] 2NE1, B2ST, and T-ara on music charts. It’s extremely difficult to schedule a comeback for other artists.”

Ex-idol group member Lee Hyun Ah revealed the reason behind her former group’s disbandment.
On KBSN audition program ‘Global Super Idol‘, the former member of Chocolate gave another try at the entertainment industry by auditioning for the show.
Lee Hyun Ah revealed, “Because of an incident that should have never occurred in the entertainment industry, and because it was something that a woman could feel a sense of shame about, I had to give up my dreams.”
She continued, “But singing on stage is the only source of escape for me, [it's] where I felt like I could breathe, so I gathered my courage and decided to try again.”
Lee Hyun Ah and the other members of Chocolate debuted under H Line Entertainment in 2010, but with rumors arising of sexual favors involving the CEO and trainees under the agency, the group had no choice but to disband and leave the company as they were swept up in a controversy they were not a part of.
In addition, Chocolate should not be confused with the still-active girl group Chocolat.
