Why does actor Gong Yoo get stressed over his small face?

Posted: 27 May 2012 07:12 AM PDT

Handsome actor Gong Yoo, who’s currently filming the new KBS drama ‘Big‘, revealed that he gets stressed out over his small face.

Reporters of segment ‘Star ON AIR‘ interviewed the actor for the May 26th broadcast of KBS’s ‘Entertainment Relay‘.

During the interview, Gong Yoo shared a few interesting tidbits of his worries and concerns through an ‘Honest Talk – OX Quiz’. The interviewer asked if he gets stressed over his small face to which he answered, “Yes.”

I lack the muscular and strong image. There are times when I want to look tough and that’s when I blame my small face,” he explained. Having a small face is actually an advantage for an actor. Rather than saying that I get stressed over my small face, it’s my lower jaw that makes my face as a whole seem smaller.”

Gong Yoo has taken the lead role for the upcoming fantasy drama, ‘Big’. The drama focuses on two 30 year olds, a hot shot doctor (played by Gong Yoo) and a clumsy short-term teacher (played by Lee Min Jung), where the doctor wakes up one morning with the soul of a teenager.

‘Big’ will be airing its first episode on June 4th.

Shinhwa’s Andy wants to release a nude photo album by himself?

Posted: 26 May 2012 11:27 PM PDT

On the most recent episode of jTBC‘s ‘Shinhwa BroadcastShinhwa‘s Andy declared that he would release a nude album without the Shinhwa members.

The May 26th broadcast of ‘Shinhwa Broadcast’ featured debates in which the members competed against each other to win the title as the “God of Speech”. As mentioned previously, the Shinhwa members held a debate discussing whether they should release another nude photo album. (Shinhwa, who shot a nude photo album 11 years ago, remains the first and only idol group to have ever done so)

Kim Dongwan who was on the team that had to argue for the idea said, “We shot the nude photos during our 4th album when Andy was absent. Andy was left alone in Seoul. Therefore, we need to take Andy and shoot a nude photo album one more time“, to which teammate Junjin added, “I agree. Andy is Shinhwa’s cute guy. Many fans want to see Andy’s muscles. I think fans will like it more if we take a nude photo album with Andy“.

Subsequently Andy hilariously stated, “Objection. You guys took a nude photo album without me. Hence, the five of you can release a nude album. I will release one by myself,” causing the members to laugh at his explosive declaration.

Dongwan, who was momentarily shocked by Andy’s statement, said, “Then your personal nude photos can be the on the appendix pages following after our member’s nude photo album“, generating laughter from the members.

Kim C confesses to not knowing who miss A’s Suzy is

Posted: 26 May 2012 10:44 PM PDT

On the May 26th episode of KBS’s ‘Do Dream‘, singer and former ‘1N2D‘ member Kim C confessed that he did not know who fellow guest miss A‘s Suzy is, but that he finds her to be a kind person.

Suzy had recently been awarded a rookie award at the ‘48th Paeksang Arts Awards 2012‘ for her role in the film ‘Introduction to Architecture‘.

Suzy had expressed, “I feel pressured by the spotlight I’m receiving since I feel like I haven’t completely grasped acting yet. From the start of my career, I got a leading role and received a rookie award. But every time I receive an award, the pressure grows bigger. I should be happy for receiving an award, but I’m not.”

Kim C replied, “I don’t know who Suzy is. I’m seeing her for the first time today. Judging from what she’s just said, it seems like she’s originally from the music industry who worked hard to become a girl group member.”

He continued, “I see Suzy as a kind person. It seems she feels pressured by the fact that although she didn’t spend as much time preparing to become an actress as she did to become an idol, she received a rookie award in that industry, and thus, she feels apologetic towards the other rookie actors. I think her feeling this way is what makes her a kind person.”

Fellow guest Jang Seo Hee agreed and cheered Suzy on by stating, “I’m of the same opinion. Suzy feels this way because she’s nice, and it just means that she knows what’s right and wrong. You have the potential to grow even more in the future.”

Shinhwa’s Junjin tells Eric to leave?

Posted: 26 May 2012 10:20 PM PDT

Shinhwa‘s Junjin hilariously showed dissatisfaction towards the group leader Eric.

On the May 26th episode of JTBC‘s ‘Shinhwa Broadcast‘, the members of Shinhwa had a debate to pick the ‘God of Harsh Talk’. One of the debate topics was “Shinhwa’s leader must be changed”, which made leader Eric slightly uncomfortable.

Shin Hyesung, who was on the team that had to argue for the topic, stated, “Were our opinions considered when we first selected the leader? Eric became the leader just because he is the oldest member and the tallest.

He added on, “I am not saying that Eric should not be the leader. I just want to have a democratic election to pick the leader.

Lee Minwoo, member of the team that had to argue against the topic, countered, “We can’t change the leader. Eric has been doing well as a leader. We shouldn’t be saying things like this, instead we need to give Eric applause for carrying out his position as a leader well.

Junjin then hilariously responded, “There’s a saying that goes, ‘leave when people applaud for you’. I’ll clap for Eric now, so please leave!” causing the set to roar in laughter.

13 new posters unveiled for ‘I Do, I Do’

Posted: 26 May 2012 09:58 PM PDT

After receiving much netizen attention for the release of their four official posters, MBC‘s new mini-series ‘I Do, I Do‘ (starring Kim Sun Ah and Lee Jang Woo) is back with a slew of new hidden posters!

Included in the batch is a ‘B cut’ poster that was cut from making it to the final four for being too sexy, as well as other fun new shots that will surely pique the interest of drama fans, making for a total of 17 posters.

Don’t let the quantity fool you, though, as they’re of top notch quality as well, which is why producers decided to go ahead and release them straight after the unveiling of the official posters.

CEO Lee Kwan Yong, the designer behind the posters, expressed, “We originally came up with ideas for four total posters and filmed accordingly. During the photoshoot, however, the cast came up with a variety of their own ideas and took part in the planning process with the photographer. In the end, we realized that there wasn’t one cut we could throw away because they were all just so good. Fortunately, they all ended up being used as great posters.”

Netizens commented, “All of the cuts are worthy of earning triple A’s. Forget four posters, gogo with 17!”, “What would’ve happened if they never got released? We might’ve missed out on such awesome pieces!”, “A perfect combination of models, photography, and design!”, and “Please give us the original copies of all 17!”
