The lovely Wonder Girls are set to make a comeback on June 3rd with their mini album ‘Wonder Party‘.

Last week, two lovely teaser photos of Yenny & Sohee along with Yubin, Sunye & Lim were released. Now, a group photo featuring all the members has been revealed.

The photo was accompanied with the text, “The Wonder Girls invites you to the “Wonder Party”. From Wonder Girls 2012.06.03″

Big Bang T.O.P’s video teaser for “Monster” revealed

After releasing image teasers for the group’s upcoming title song “Monster“, Big Bang has now revealed the video teaser for member T.O.P.

In the newly released music video, you can hear the suave voice of T.O.P along with G-Dragon. Instead of a wild hair color, he’s going for wild eyes as you can also see his blue & yellow eyes.

Both the album and "Monster" music video are due out on June 3 KST.

JJ Project reveal footage from the ‘Bounce’ MV set + Greeting Message

Last weekend, JJ Project made their successful round of debut performances on Korea’s four major music programs: “M! Countdown”, “Music Bank”, “Music Core”, and “Inkigayo”.

On May 28th, JJ Project released a greeting video along with a behind-the-scenes video from the set of their “Bounce” MV in response to their fans’ love and support.

In the greeting video, JB and Jr. introduced themselves and their debut track “Bounce”. JJ Project encouraged their fans to participate in their song with them. The boys effectively demonstrated the main hip shaking dance move.

In addition, the behind-the-scenes footage from “Bounce” showed their professionalism on set. Despite the hectic atmosphere and what appears to be a shoulder injury, JJ Project are seen giving it their all.

While on stage, JJ Project exuded confidence and ease uncommon among rookie groups. But offstage, these videos remind viewers that they are in fact a rookie group, full of nerves and excitement, taking their first steps into making their dreams come true.

Sunny Hill’s Joobi tries her hand at acting; a kiss scene with Yang Jin Woo

Sunny Hill member, Joobi recently tried her hands at acting and according to reports, she filmed a kiss scene with actor, Yang Jin Woo!

On the latest recording of tvN‘s ‘I love Italy‘, Joobi, who plays the role of Soonshim, had a kiss scene with Seung Jae (played by Yang Jin Woo) who is a bold and charismatic man. Escaping from a contracted marriage planned by her wealthy parents, Soonshim wanted to find her own romance and therefore, took the first step by planting a surprise kiss on Seung Jae.

Regarding the kiss, Joobi stated, “I was nervous but, carried it out with great courage. I think it came out better than I expected.

On another note, ‘I love Italy’ is a fantasy romance comedy that is 16 episodes long. It revolves around a young 14 year old boy who suddenly grows into a 25 year old man (played by Kim Ki Bum) and takes part in a 100 day love story with a heiress (played by Park Ye Jin) from an immensely rich family. The drama airs every Monday and Tuesday at 11PM KST.

After announcing that they’d be coming back with their new album, ‘Illusion, M.I.B. has returned today with new pictures from their comeback pictorial as well as their comeback MV teaser!

The pictures were taken from the set of their music video filming for their title track, “Only Hard For Me“, which was recorded in Los Angeles. Boasting impressive sets of the city and its desert, M.I.B. is sure that the music video will do justice to their growth and improvement.

Stepping away from their previous hip hop heavy image, the boys are seen sporting a more modern and serious look that lends a hint to their comeback song.

Kim Jo Han shares his experience as a vocal trainer for Girls’ Generation’s Jessica

On the May 28th episode of SBS’s ‘Jung Jae Hyung and Lee Hyori’s You & I‘, soloist Kim Jo Han talked about his experience as a vocal trainer for idols.

When asked who he trained, Kim Jo Han replied, “I’ve taught Girls’ Generation‘s Jessica and Taeyeon, as well as SISTAR‘s Hyorin, among others.” Jung Jae Hyung asked again, “There must be singers who come to you because they aren’t very good at singing, but also singers that are already good but want more reinforcement?”

Kim Jo Han chose Jessica as an example, explaining, “Jessica is a great singer, but she had a weak voice at first because she wasn’t confident. She gained a lot of confidence after our training and now sings up to her full potential.”

On 2AM‘s Jo Kwon, he also expressed, “I call him a machine because he works so hard.”

Wonder Girls’ Yubin throws opening pitch at baseball game; better than Jessica?

As many of you are aware, female K-POP idols frequently throw the opening pitch for professional baseball games, a tradition that’s been continuing for many years. Recently, Wonder Girls‘ rapper, Yubin had her opportunity to attend one of these events herself.

On May 27th, Yubin visited the Jamsil Stadium to throw the opening pitch for a baseball game between the Lotte Giants and Doosan Bears. Sporting a Doosan Bear uniform and casual jeans, Yubin greeted the numerous fans who attended the game on this day. Unlike Girls’ Generation‘s Jessica who made countless headlines for an embarrassing pitch, Yubin posed confidentially and threw the ball with full force, which successfully ended up in the hands of the catcher.

In related news, Yubin became the first Korean to make it on to Complex Music‘s ‘The 25 Sexiest Musicians under 25‘ back on April 30th.

Photos taken at Hello Venus‘ fan signing event have viewers amazed at their doll-like beauty.

On May 27th, Hello Venus held their very first fan signing event at Jongro Youngpung Mungo, a famous book store in Seoul, Korea. Photos of the Hello Venus members taken on this day were uploaded onto various online community boards under the title, “Doll Beauty“. Hello Venus’ agency also uploaded photos taken at the event on May 28th.

According to reports, their real life appearance was no different than their images displayed on the screen. With silky smooth skin and bright smiles, the girls displayed amazing beauty like ‘real life dolls’.

Despite holding a fan signing event only after 18 days since the beginning of their debut, crowds of fans flocked to the area to receive autographs. Representing themselves as respectful idols, the girls sincerely signed everyone’s posters, impressing those who came.

8,000 tickets sell out in 10 minutes for FT Island’s ‘Play! FT Island’

FT Island recently wrapped up a successful solo concert in Taiwan.

On May 26th, FT Island held their ‘Play! FT Island‘ concert. A total of 8,000 tickets were sold out in a mere 10 minutes, indicating FT Island’s strong influence in Asia.

During the event, the boys performed their hit tracks: “I Hope“, “Love Love Love“, “Neverland“, “Confession“, and more. Lucky fans were able to enjoy a fun night as they were serenaded with a total of 20 tracks.

To congratulate FT Island’s fifth anniversary, fans held up placards during their encore performance, surprising the boys who were emotionally overwhelmed by the unexpectation. “We are truly thankful for the passion that Taiwanese fans showed us. We were also very impressed by the surprise event. We always remind ourselves to work harder as repayment for the love received by our fans but, we received much love again at the Taiwan concert. We were so happy”, they said.

SISTAR‘s leader Hyorin expressed her unconditional love for actor Kang Dong Won!

Cameras for the May 27th broadcast of MBC‘s ‘Section TV – Star Ranking‘ visited Hyorin in a waiting room, as the singer had been selected as one of the numerous female celebrities that had selected actor Kang Dong Won as their ideal type.

Hyorin was unable to contain her joy as she was gifted a life-sized panel of the actor to which she immediately hugged.

When asked to say a few words to her rivals who had also chosen Kang Dong Won as their ideal type, Hyorin said, “I don’t know when they started to like Kang Dong Won oppa, but I liked him ever since I was born.”

Hyorin’s rivals included KARA‘s Seungyeon and Girls’ Generation‘s Taeyeon.

JYJ’s Junsu wraps a successful concert in Thailand

JYJ‘s Junsu recently wrapped up his first solo Asian concert in Thailand, and according to reports, it was a success!

On May 27th at 6PM (Local time), Junsu held his ‘XIA 1st Asia Tour in Bangkok‘ at the Royal Paragon Hall in Bangkok, Thailand. 4,000 fans attended the event to be serenaded by Junsu and his amazing performances.

Aside from his songs, Junsu also held a small talk show with his fans. “Nice to meet you again” and “I love you *kiss*” were some of the phrases he said in Thai. Fans were specially treated to some of his sweet songs including, “You are so beautiful” and “I hate Love“.

During the encore stage, Junsu showed tears as he sang “Fallen Leaves“. “I feel so fortunate to start off my Asia tour so grandly. I sincerely thank my fans who came to cheer me on and fill up the concert“, Junsu said.

According to Junsu’s agency, C-JeS Entertainment, “The 60 day Asia Tour journey has started and the first concert has wrapped up successfully. Even though there were no broadcasts or promotions when the album ["Tarantallegra"] was released, we think the explosive response was due to the ever so hard working Junsu who shows sincerity and competency.”

Kim Junsu’s next concert will be held in Jakarta, Indonesia on June 16th.

Simon D regrets rejecting a featuring offer from IU

On the latest recording of Mnet‘s ‘Vol. TEN‘, MC Supreme Team‘s Simon D revealed that he had once rejected a featuring in IU’s song and named it as the worst mistake of his 20′s.

Right after IU had released her hit track, “Nagging“, she had asked Simon D for a feature in another song. Unfortunately, Simon D had been too busy to accept the request. “I was so busy then that I had no choice, but to reject it. I’m so apologetic now that I can’t even talk to her first.”

Not only were his fellow MCs surprised, but they jokingly reprimanded him for the decision.

Im Jin Mo, who’s a self-declared fan of IU, hilariously replied, “Rejecting a request from IU is worse than denying an order from your parents.” Jung-In added, “Simon D, you’re quite amazing to have rejected IU.”

Simon D joked back, “Yes, I consider it the biggest mistake of my 20′s.”

Tim’s “I Love You” remake with Astrid achieves an all kill on Indonesian charts

Soloist Tim is hitting an ‘all kill’ on Indonesian radio charts!

At the end of April, Tim collaborated with the popular Indonesian soloist Astrid for a remake of his 2003 hit track, “I Love You (Saranghapnida)”. The song is currently topping 10 major Indonesian radio charts.

“I Love You” is currently scheduled to be used as the theme song for the upcoming Korean-Indonesian collaboration drama, ‘Saranghae, I Love You…‘, which will begin airing in July through Indosiar, with Tim also starring as the leading male role.

Tim will be officially releasing an album containing his past hit tracks in Indonesia on May 29th and promote the album actively for the time being.

TVXQ tops Japan’s Tower Records with pre-sales for concert DVD + upcoming single

TVXQ has proven their unwavering popularity in Japan by ranking in at the top of Tower Records!

The duo ranked at first and second place with their upcoming limited DVD release and single, ‘Android‘, on the Tower Records pre-sales chart for May 27th.

Scheduled for release on July 25th, the blu-ray DVD features full length performances of the duo’s ‘TONE‘ tour, which took place between January and April to a crowd of 550,000 fans, along with their Tokyo Dome concert on April 15th.

The limited release also includes footage from their Saitama Super Arena concert on March 18th.

‘Android’, which is set for release on July 11th, will include two new tracks titled “Android” and “Blink“.

A-JAX receives a warm welcome opening for KARA’s ‘KARASIA’ concert

As previously reported, DSP Media‘s new boy group A-JAX opened the stage for KARA at their Japanese tour, ‘KARASIA‘.

The boys joined their senior labelmates at their final concert at the Saitama Super Arena on May 27th and brought the entire tour to a successful conclusion together.

Shinkei News spotlighted the boys’ upcoming debut with a segment stating, “A-JAX, a group set to debut in Japan this August, has opened the stage for KARA’s solo concert.”

A-JAX performed “One For You” to an ecstatic and welcoming crowd of 17,000 fans. Leader Hyunggon expressed, “I was able to enjoy the stage thanks to all of your cheers. We’ve always wanted to stand on a Japanese stage once like this. We will continue to be an A-JAX that works to improve ourselves.”

A-JAX will be holding their debut stages on this week’s music programs.
