Actress Park Si-yeon is coming back with a drama. She will be starring in the KBS 2TV drama "Nice Guy".

Her agency told OSEN on the 30th, "Park Si-Yeon has decided to star in "Nice Guy" after a long discussion with her agency. We haven't signed final papers but she is set to go".

Actor Kim Myung Min is set to return to the brown box after four years of hiatus from TV.

Group 2PM's Nichkhun and Chansung highly praised their fellow member Junsu.

On May 30th, Nichkhun posted on his Twitter, "Today Junsu showed us what it's like to be a 'singer', much to learn from him. Please give him love for today's heart-felt performance!" and uploaded the above photo.

In the picture, Nichkhun was captured sitting next to Junsu while doing a cute V-sign and smiling cutely.

Chansung also complimented Junsu's performance and tweeted, "Today was Junsu hyung's day! A song which Junsu hyung wrote while thinking about his dad. We didn't get to hear it during rehearsal so it was our first time hearing it on stage and I couldn't control my feelings."

[NEWS] Shinhwa completes first ‘The Return’ concert in Japan

The '90s boy band Shinhwa, which recently staged a comeback, held its first concert in Japan in more than four years.

The band performed Tuesday and Wednesday at Yokohama Arena under the banner "2012 Shinhwa Grand Tour In Japan - The Return."

At the long anticipated concert, the band sang all of its hit songs, including "Wild Eyes," "Perfect Man" and "Your Wedding." In addition, the band performed tracks from its new album, "The Return."

Member Lee Min-woo also took the time to promote the band's TV program on the JTBC network.

"In Korea, we take part in a weekly show where we get to not only sing, but also take part in various activities. It's like having a concert every week," said Lee. "We promise to be back next year with a better album and even better performance."

[NEWS] Lee Bo Young & Ji Sung’s agencies dismiss rumors of wedding plans

Acting couple Lee Bo Young and Ji Sung have denied rumors they will walk down the aisle in June.

Namoo Actors, which represents Ji Sung, told local media yesterday, "There is no plan for a wedding as of yet."

The agency said earlier speculation by Ilgan Sports must have been based on comments by the two entertainers that were taken out of context.

"Ji Sung will be busy filming until the end of June and Lee Bo-young just finished up filming 'The Equator Man.' They have not scheduled a wedding anytime soon," said a Namoo representative.

Lee's agency, too, said the same thing, adding that it had no idea why such rumors were circulating.

The two actors met on the set of "Have the Last Dance with Me" in 2004 and began dating in 2007.

Ji is filming "My P.S. Partner" with Kim Ah joong and Lee is in Bali, Indonesia, filming a commercial. She is scheduled to come back this weekend and participate in various media interviews.

[NEWS] Busker Busker’s 1st album records 13 million downloads

Trio band Busker Busker from "Super Star K" has exceeded 13 million downloads online.

According to statistics released by Gaon Chart on May 31, the band's debut album containing 11 tracks accumulated more than 13,055,149 downloads from weeks in March 18 to May 19.

The album was released online on March 29 and the title track "Cherry Blossom Ending" was the most downloaded track of them all with 2,184,650 downloads. The tune was also the most downloaded song during the second week of April and remained in the top 10 spots for the next six consecutive weeks.

Following the title track's lead, the songs "Ideal" and "First Love" were downloaded some 1,541,390 and 1,516,373 times, respectively.

"For an album to exceed 10 million downloads, especially for a new artist, is unheard of. And six out of the 11 tracks amassed more than a million hits which is just phenomenal," said a representative at Gaon Chart.
At the stores, too, the physical sale of the records have exceeded 70,000 copies so far, set to hit the 100,000 mark soon.

For the first time ever, actress Han Ga In will become the face of Korean alcoholic beverage soju "Wol" which means "Moon" and is also the name of the female shaman character that Han played in the hit drama "The Moon Embracing the Sun."

Girl group Dal Shabet has moved up the release date of their first full length album "Bang Bang".

According to Happy Face Entertainment on June 1st, "Bang Bang" will be released on June 6th, a day earlier than its initial schedule. The agency explained, "Due to our promotion schedule, Dal Shabet's first full album's release has been shifted a day ahead."

The four K-Pop groups will hold a large scale concert titled 'K-POP Nation Concert in Macao 2012' at the Venetian Hotel in Macao on July 2, 8PM local time.

'K-POP Nation Concert in Macao 2012' will be different from regular concerts and music shows in that each artist will put on performances and share stories not heard before at their individual concerts.
