Earlier in the month, SS501 member Kim Hyung Jun successfully made his comeback with his second album ‘ESCAPE’.

After releasing the music video for “Sorry I’m Sorry“, he’s set to release the drama music video for “Because I’m a Bad Guy“. Earlier today, a teaser for this upcoming drama MV was released.

For the MV he worked with Cha Eun Taek and reportedly will be 25 minutes long.

GLAM expresses their excitement over their “Party (XXO)” debut stage

On the July 19th episode of Mnet‘s ‘M! Countdown‘, rookie girl group GLAM finally held their debut stage with their title track, “Party (XXO).

After heading up on stage, the girls met up with reporters in their waiting room backstage for a brief interview discussing their excitement. The girls began, “We had our debut stage today. Instead of being nervous, it felt like we were playing a game.”

Jinny added, “I’ve always liked games like finding what’s wrong with the other picture. While rehearsing for our stage, I noticed that there’s a red light on the cameras. It was really fun trying to spot out the cameras while performing on stage.” With a laugh, she confidently stated, “I think it’s getting more and more fun the more we perform.”

Dahee also expressed,2AM and PD Bang Shi Hyuk gave us a lot of advice and support. The 2AM seniors always told us to don’t get nervous and to enjoy it as much as possible whenever they saw us. It helped a lot.”

New Rookie Band ’4K’ releases MV for “Moonlight Sonata”

After releasing the music video for Rocking Girl last month, rookie rock band 4K has released the music video for their latest single “Moonlight Sonata“.

“Moonlight Sonata” is a minor acoustic ballad track that sings of the deep heartache which accompanies a breakup. The emotion displayed by the simple piano playing and the lyrical verses will remind listeners of a scene in a drama.

The rock band is under indie record label Choeun Entertainment and consists of members Cory, Seok-June, Sung-Oh, and Ki-Su.

Psy achieves certified “Perfect All Kill” with “Gangnam Style”

When it comes to “All Kill“, fans use the Instiz Chart to truly determine whether their favorite artist has achieved an "All-Kill (AK)" or “Perfect All-Kill (PK)“.

The third artist to achieve this “Perfect All-Kill” for 2012 is Psy with his latest hit single, “Gangnam Style“. Big Bang achieved this earlier in the year with “Blue” and Busker Busker also achieved this twice with “Cherry Blossom Ending” and “If You Really Love Me“.

To earn the title of “Perfect All-Kill”, the artist must achieve being #1 on the 7 Major Korean Online Music Sites for that day and also have the most streams (combination of streams, mobile / callback ringtones). While a regular “All-Kill” doesn’t include the streaming portion.

INFINITE for Cosmopolitan: “We want to stay together as seven”

INFINITE participated in a sporty photo shoot as well as an interview for the August edition of Cosmopolitan.

The members are currently dealing with a busy schedule due to their upcoming 5-day concert starting on August 8th. When asked whether they were tired from concert preparations and their otherwise hectic schedule, the INFINITE members stated that they received a lot of strength from fans. Tickets for the concert sold out in 15 minutes.

During the interview, Hoya commented on leader Sunggyu, who’s been receiving attention for his powerful vocals and variety skills, “He is an amazing leader with a strong sense of responsibility and leadership. Even if his pronunciation may be off sometimes.Sungjong added, “He used to be scary when we were trainees, but not anymore. As leader, he tries to brighten up the mood at times by making jokes, but sometimes his jokes get out of hand and affect tempers.

Woohyun discussed the members’ attitude about dating: “It’s difficult for all of us because we’re not the types to go up and talk to someone first. Although we may be at the age [to want to be in relationships], we’re just too busy. We’re enduring with the love from our fans.

The INFINITE members also unanimously agreed that they each have the same dream, “We hope to always stay as seven and grow as musicians [together].

The full interview will be revealed in the August edition of Cosmopolitan.

J.Y. Park was skeptical about Nichkhun’s talents at first?

J.Y. Park confessed that he was skeptical of how well 2PM‘s Nichkhun would fare as a singer when he was introduced as a possible JYP Entertainment trainee.

During filming for the upcoming broadcast of KBS 2TV‘s ‘Happy Together 3‘, J.Y Park stated, “Though the agency’s casting director discovered Nichkhun and brought him over, I was skeptical after seeing him whether he could actually become a singer.”

He continued, “When I first saw Nichkhun’s dance and singing skills, I was in doubt about whether he could improve, but now, Nichkhun is the breadwinner at our company,” causing laughter.

The CEO then added that everyone, including Nichkhun himself, was aware that he wasn’t optimistic about Nichkhun’s debut.

This episode of ‘Happy Together 3′ will air on July 19th at 11:15PM KST.

Shinhwa releases concert video clip for ‘The Return’ overseas tour

Shinhwa has released a concert video clip of ‘The Return‘ concert.

2012 Shinhwa Grand Tour: The Return‘ started in Seoul, Korea on March 24, 2012 and moved onto Taiwan, Japan, Singapore as well as China for their last concert on July 7th. The group performed ten shows during the 8-city, 5-country tour. ‘The Return’ album and tour marked Shinhwa’s comeback to the music industry after a four-year hiatus.

EvoL releases second audio teaser

After revealing the first audio teaser last week, Stardom Entertainment, led by Cho PD and home to hip hop boy group Block B, has released the second audio teaser for their upcoming hip hop girl group, EvoL.

From our sources, we have been informed that the group consists of 4 members, Kwon Sohee, Kim Junhee, Kristine Yoon and Kim Yeonjoo. Their leader is Sohee(19) and their maknae is Yeonjoo(age 18).

Although not much is known about the group, judging by their first two teasers, it seems they won’t disappoint!

Super Junior‘s Yesung tweeted on July 18th, “Wearing Y style glasses. It’s been a while since Two Woon,” along with the above photos of himself and Kangin.

“Two Woon” is a nickname for the duo, created by combining the second syllable of Kangin (Young Woon) and Yesung’s (Jong Woon) real names.

Fans commented, “They are both good looking,” and “Please come on variety shows together.

Kim Soo Hyun and miss A’s Suzy team up for Beanpole’s new CF

Dream High‘ couple Kim Soo Hyun and miss A‘s Suzy will be reuniting once more as the new CF partners for clothing brand ‘Beanpole‘.

The two left for New Zealand on July 18th and will be returning this weekend after finishing filming the CF. A Beanpole representative stated, “Suzy has been chosen as the female model alongside Kim Soo Hyun. Together, they will be combining their talents for the CF. Although they’ve worked together in the past through their drama, this is their first time as CF models.”

He continued, “They’re both spending extremely busy days working on both their dramas and CFs, so it was difficult working out their schedules. We’re all looking forward to utilizing New Zealand’s scenery for a cute and fun new CF.”

On the meeting of the two stars, the representative commented,“They have both the looks and talent, which have been confirmed time and time again through their activities in dramas and movies. As rising new stars, we’re anticipating their synergistic effect.”

CNBLUE to hold an arena tour in Japan this coming October!

Hallyu stars CNBLUE have announced that they will be embarking on an arena tour in Japan later this year!

According to CNBLUE’s schedule on their official website, the band will start their tour on October 2nd in Nagoya and then continue to locations including Niikata on the 7th,  Osaka on the 10th and 11th, and Hiroshima on the 13th. They’ll be performing 9 concerts in 6 cities in all until their final concert on October 21st at the Saitama Super Arena.

The tour is expected to draw in an audience of approximately 100,000 people.

Mnet's "M! Countdown" is back with another spectacular episode chock-full of exciting performances!

Aside from the usual stages on tonight's episode, Crayon Pop, C-CLOWN, B.A.P, GLAM, NS Yoon-G, 2NE1, and Gilme all held their respective comeback/debut stage!

Competing for the #1 spot, it was a hot battle among Super Junior, SISTAR, and 2NE1, but in the end, it was Super Junior who clinched the win tonight with "Sexy, Free & Single“!

After teasing us all last week, rising rookie idol group C-CLOWN has finally released the music video for "SOLO".

Short for 'Crown Clown', the six members of C-Clown are ready to impress with their top-notch music and performances. Like their name suggests, the group is determined to become 'king' of the K-pop scene and achieve their 'crown'.

The group is under Yedang Entertainment and consists of members: leader Barom (Rome), Kim Taemin (Siwoo), Kim Hyunil (Ray), Kangjun (JunK), Lee Minwoo (TK), and Jaejun (Mau).

Kim Shin Young reveals her off-screen personality on ‘Infinity Girls’

Kim Shin Young will reveal details about her off-screen personality on the July 22nd broadcast of ‘Infinity Girls‘.

On the upcoming episode, the cast members gathered in Woo Jung Chon for the “best friend” special, which asked them to compete to find a “soul mate” among themselves.

While the chosen “couples” were enjoying their date, Song Eun Hee, Hwang Bo, and Kim Shin Young were left back at the dorm. However, the three also enjoyed their time together making spaghetti. Comedian Kim Shin Young brightened up the mood with her famous impersonations. Song Eun Hee and Hwang Bo commented that they “realized the hidden charms she possessed that we could have not noticed.

As the day went on, Kim Shin Young revealed, “People think that because of my bright image, I would get along with anyone. But I have a dark side to me, and I only meet people I usually meet.” Kim Shin Young also expressed the hardships she had to face because of her outgoing image, “I think I showed a real side of myself that I couldn’t reveal anywhere else.”
