B2ST members will be transforming into comic characters in a new comic book series titled 'The Beast'. The full character photos have been revealed, giving a glimpse of the animated appearances of the B2ST members in a mysterious and 'beastly' feel.

The artist, Jenna, used the latest concept photos of the members to create the cartoons with very accurate characteristics. In the series, Hyunseung possesses the power of teleportation, Dongwoon has photographic memory, Yoseob creates illusions with his singing, Junhyung can mind-read by touching, Doojoon holds immense physical energy and GiKwang has the power of psychokinesis.

TVXQ have added another new record to their repertoire in Japan.

The duo's new 'LIVE TOUR 2012~TONE~' DVD, which was released on the 25th of July, has sold approximately 151,000 copies in its first week, making it the most sold DVD for the week on Oricon's daily and weekly DVD charts.

This is the fourth time TVXQ has topped Oricon's weekly DVD charts, breaking their own previous record for the most no.1 spots in the DVD charts for foreign artistes. They have also become the first foreign artistes to have two consecutive productions top the DVD charts.


On the 1st of August, Oricon reported on TVXQ's remarkable activities with an article titled, 'TVXQ become the First Foreign Artistes To Have Two Consecutive DVDs Top the Charts!'

The group's most recent DVD contains footage from TVXQ's concert at Tokyo Dome on the 15th of April, which was part of the 'TVXQ LIVE TOUR 2012~TONE~' concert tour that passed through 11 cities and attracted a total of 550,000 people in 26 concerts.

The title song "Hate You" off of Eru's new mini album 'Feel Brand New Part.2' has been born as the new hit emotional song thanks to BEAST Yong Junhyung's rap featuring. The mixture of Eru's vocals and Yong Junhyung's rap helps the song give off a new modern taste.

By displaying Yong Junhyung directly in the teaser video clip, Eru attracted the attention of many fans. In the music video, Eru and Junhyung will be switching off singing and rapping their parts, creating a whole new different atmosphere.

About working with Yong Junhyung Eru said, "He is someone who is really good at rapping. I was scared and nervous at the same time wondering if he would match me well. I was someone who always did ballad songs, so I never tried a dance genre before. Baek Jiyoung noona had been a dance singer before so she matched well with him, but I was curious about how I would turn out. But, Junhyung worked to match me well. His voice was good and since he is a good rapper, everything went smoothly."

He said, "Before I recorded, I talked a lot with the composers. The song 'Hate You' was supposed to be a unit song. The role of the rapper makes a greater impact on this song compared to any others. It's almost as if I sang the chorus to a rap song. And because the rapper role was big to fill, I realized that I really needed to find someone who was a great rapper."

In addition he said, "I thought about it for a while and in the past I really wanted to give a song to BEAST so I gave him a call. Junhyung agreed right away that he will help out. He is a great friend you can rely on. When we were practice recording he was just mumbling some words, but everyone was satisfied. We convinced him to do this song with us no matter what."

Eru had even wrote the music video scenario himself. He was thinking about a story that everyone could agree with and he wanted to film the story of a bad woman. Not some unfaithful woman, just a bad woman.

Eru stated, "The music video itself is a half screen. Yong Junhyung and I both get the farewell message on the same screen. One man through a phone call and the other man through his girlfriend herself. Both suffer from the pain. Then the two men gather at one place and tell their story through singing and rapping. If you watch the music video until the end, you will think that this can actually happen in real life."

Eru's new song and music video will be released on August 8th through various music sites.

Sooyoung who played the role of Violist, Kim EuiJin has completed her final filming of 'The 3rd Hospital' On August 5th. The 5-month long shoot which kicked off in March this year finally came to an end and Actress Choi Sooyoung could not hide her tears on the set after the final filming.

As soon as 'Cut' was heard from the director which marked the end of the filming for the drama, Oh JiHo who played the role of SeungHyun in the medical drama, brought a cake out and congratulated Sooyoung for the final filming of 'The 3rd Hospital'. Upon hearing the warm applause and cheers from the staff, Sooyoung blew out the candles and burst into tears. The staff too could not hold back their tears as Sooyoung expressed her sincere feelings about the filming.

It has been revealed that Lee Jong Hyun, who played Colin in the SBS drama 'A Gentleman's Dignity,' was actually once a judo athlete.

Lee Jong Hyun, who is a both a guitarist and vocalist in the band CN Blue, played the role of Colin, Jang Dong Gun's son in the drama.

Lee Jong Hyun revealed in a recent interview with a newspaper, "I was a judo athlete until junior high. I once won a gold medal at an individual competition during that time. Since I like judo, I always had an interest in acting in action scenes. This is something that I have always wanted to do before I ever acted professionally."

INFINITE reveals rehearsal photos for ‘That Summer’ concert

With just a day before 'That Summer' concert kicks off, the boys of INFINITE are busy at work in the rehearsal studio.

A slew of behind-the-scenes photos of INFINITE during rehearsal have been revealed. Themed after a 'summer vacation', the boy group is working hard to make the concert a 'vacation' fans will never forget.

The reporters were met with large laughter that exploded from nearby staff members due to the joke, "I don't think taking photos is going to work for me because I'm bare-faced," which Sungyeol said while widely smiling.

Known for precise choreography, INFINITE will be showcasing variety of other performances during their concert. The boys will transform themselves into a band, created with guitarist L, the bassist Dongwoo, the keyboardist Sungjong, and the drummer Sungyeol.

Dongwoo commented, "I didn't know time was going by when I was practicing (the bass)," Sunggyu cutely complained by saying, "The concert date is coming up soon, but there's so many things to prepare for." The members participated even with the planning stage of this concert, making it extra special.

The heat in the practice room was similar to the sweltering heat wave temperature outdoors.

Meanwhile, 'That Summer' concert will take place on August 8 through August 12 at Seoul's AX-Korea.

The upcoming 'SBS K-POP Super Concert in America', which was scheduled to be held at the Home Depot Center in Los Angeles on August 10th, has been unfortunately postponed to a later date.

The event's official Facebook page announced on August 7th, "We regret to inform you that the SBS K-Pop Super Concert in America has been postponed to a later date. Tickets can be refunded on AXS.com or Hotdeal.KoreaDaily.com, depending on the method you used to purchase your tickets."

They added, "We deeply apologize for the inconvenience and disappointment we caused all of you. Please await an official letter of apology from SBS. More details regarding the postponed concert will be posted as soon as possible."

Many K-Pop fans have been disappointed with the news as the large-scale event boats an awesome lineup which includes Girls' Generation, SECRET, SISTAR, CNBLUE, KARA, SHINee, MBLAQ, 2AM and 2PM.
