Girl’s Day‘s Minah burst into tears during a recent interview.

On November 9th, her label stated to allkpop, “Minah made viewers tear up because she burst into tears during Melon‘s Music Story’s new TV corner, ‘Ask in a Box‘.

The reporter had asked Minah, “What does your fanclub DAI5Y mean to Girl’s Day?“. Hearing the question, Minah was overcome with many emotions and she couldn’t help the tears from flowing. She answered, “I always get strength because of DAI5Y. We’ll give back to them with a great stage“.

Upon watching this, Minah’s fans stated, “I teared up when Minah unni cried“, and “DAI5Y will make you happier from now on~ Fighting!“.

Girl’s Day’s label said, “When Girl’s Day members are tired from busy activities and practices during promotions, they gain strength from the fanclub’s tremendous encouragement and support. Minah must have been very grateful when she her fans were mentioned.“.

T-ara departs for Japan to promote “Sexy Love”

T-ara has left to Japan to promote the Japanese version of “Sexy Love“, which will be released in Japan on the 14th.

On November 9th, their label stated, “T-ara will be departing to Sendai, Japan from Incheon at 10:50 AM.” The ladies will be holding promotional activities for their fifth Japanese single through Japanese broadcasts, interviews, and holding tours all over Japan. They will be visiting 8 cities in their tour, including Tokyo, Sendai, Fukuoka, and Nagoya.

T-ara will be returning to Korea on the 19th.

TVXQ earned over $12.5 million in Japanese DVD sales for 2012

TVXQ has reportedly earned over 1 billion yen (approximately $12.6 million USD) in Japanese DVD sales for 2012.

ORICON BiZ online‘ reported the third quarter results for the Japanese music market and the report revealed that the only artists that earned more than 1 billion yen in terms of DVD sales were TVXQ and Japanese girl group AKB48.

TVXQ’s released their DVD ‘TVXQ LIVE TOUR 2012-TONE‘ back in July and it contained footage from their Japanese concerts held in 11 cities. The DVD had ranked #1 on the Oricon Daily Charts and the Weekly DVD Charts.

According to ‘ORICON BiZ online’, TVXQ’s total media sales enjoyed an increase of 11% compared to last year. Their single album sales had decreased by 1%, but their album sales had increased 7.7% and video media sales such as DVDs and Blu-Ray have increased by 36.2%.

JYJ‘s Yoochun shared his thoughts on the first episode of the new MBC dramaI Miss You‘.

On November 8 KST, Yoochun posted to JYJ’s official Facebook: “Did you watch the broadcast yesterday? [I miss you and feel so sorry I could go crazy]. These days, I read the script and say, ‘I’m going to go crazy,’ a lot. Please give ‘I Miss You’ lots of love,” making a reference to his character Han Jung Woo’s lines in the drama.

He also shared the above photo from the first script reading session.

Fans commented, Yeo Jin Goo and Kim So Hyun act very well, so you probably feel a bit of pressure!”, “I’m looking forward to your acting”, “Seeing your thoughts on the first episode, I feel like you’re already getting into the character of ‘Han Jung Woo’”, and more.

Kim Jong Kook was spotted hanging out with his mom at an arcade recently.

Photos of the mother and son enjoying a friendly game together surfaced online on the 9th. Fans are commenting that it’s another side to the singer, who’s known for his masculine, ‘Sparta’ character on ‘Running Man‘ as well as other variety programs.

Agency JK Entertainment commented, “When he has no programs in his schedule or if he goes on vacation, he usually takes his mother with him. On this day, it seems like he went to the arcade with his mom to reminisce over his childhood days and create more fond memories.”

Kim Jong Kook recently made a comeback with “Men Are All Like That from his 7th full-length album ‘Journey Home‘.

Singer-songwriter J-Min has released the PV for her new single, “If You Want“.

The PV takes place at a school and revolves around the concept “music is borderless.” J-Min herself is described as a “borderless artist” as she is able to cleverly handle three languages: Korean, Japanese, and English. She released her debut single, “Stand Up“, in Korea this past summer.

‘If You Want’, which includes the title track of the same name and “Cry Baby“, will be released on November 21.

Seo In Guk and A Pink‘s Eunji have been chosen as the best “star couple.”

Y-Star‘s ‘Goonggoomta‘ (‘Curious’) held a survey asking regular people, professional couple managers, and more which on-screen couple they felt fit best together. Eunji and Seo In Guk grabbed 1st for their characters’ relationship on the tvN hit ‘Reply 1997‘.

According to one poll taker, “They seem like they’d get along very well like friends of the same age.” The two stars received 91 points from everyday users and a high compatibility score from couple managers.

Seo In Guk and Eunji beat out on-screen couples Kim Soo Hyun and Suzy as well as Won Bin and Kim Tae Hee. Apparently, though Kim Soo Hyun and Suzy got an “A++” as a “visual couple,” they received zero points in terms of compatibility.

This episode will air on the 11th at 3PM KST.

The photos, posted under the title “YoonA on the set of a recent bed commercial, images of her overwhelming aegyo”, show YoonA and Sooyoung testing the springs on the bed as well as YoonA’s adorable expressions.

In related news, Girls’ Generation is currently preparing for the release of their second full-length Japanese album, ‘Girls’ Generation II Girls & Peace‘, on the 28th.

Skarf‘s Sol and Ferlyn have released their own cover of 10cm‘s “Love in the Milky Way Cafe” in a practice video.

Sol mentioned that she chose the song for practice as it’s one she’d like to sing for a boyfriend. The girls’ cover of “Love in the Milky Way Cafe”, from 10cm’s hit first album ‘1.0‘, definitely show a different side to them than what fans saw in promotions for Skarf’s debut song, “Oh! Dance“.

Netizen arrested for malicious comments about Wonder Girls’ Sohee

The netizen who’s been spreading malicious rumors and sending obscene comments to Wonder GirlsSohee has been arrested.

JYP Entertainment stated on the 9th, “‘Mr. Lee’, who consistently spread false rumors related to our agency’s artist Sohee, was taken into custody on November 8. After seeing the results, we plan to take appropriate legal action against the aforementioned netizen.”

The agency filed a legal motion against netizen ‘Mr. Lee’ this past April after he disregarded warnings and messages to delete his malicious remarks and stop spreading false information. JYP Entertainment filed charges against the accused citing information network and protection as well as slander laws on April 16, and Seoul Gangnam Police Station’s legal team began investigations the next day.

‘Mr. Lee’ has continued to send sexually explicit and other obscene comments to Sohee. He’s also claiming that the Wonder Girls member is his girlfriend.

He’s reported to have posted over 150 inappropriate statements concerning Sohee since June of 2011 to August of this year.

YB and Leessang reveal ‘Shut Up Concert’ posters

Rock band YB and hip hop duo Leessang have revealed the posters for their upcoming joint concert, ‘Shut Up Concert‘.

As expected, ‘Shut Up Concert’ will feature a collaboration between rock and hip hop. The members of YB and Leessang themselves are reported to have planned and produced the concert, raising anticipation among fans and concertgoers.

Tickets became available on the 29th last month and quickly rose to first in terms of gross sales.

The ‘Shut Up Concert’ will run from December 23 to the 24th at Kyunghee University in Seoul.

Byul and Kim Jong Kook release mysterious teaser video for collaboration

A mysterious teaser video featuring Byul and Kim Jong Kook has been released on HaHa‘s official Youtube channel.

The video is titled “Byul, Kim Jong Kook collaboration music drama teaser”, which gives a hint as to what the collaborative project might entail, but further details are not available as of yet. The teaser also features the singers’ latest songs, “You Are So Bad” and “Men Are All Like That“.

What’s drawing the most attention is the scene Byul slaps Kim Jong Kook, and fans are already making speculations about the “collaboration music drama.”

TAHITI’s Miso sent to emergency room after ‘Music Bank’ performance

TAHITI‘s Miso was sent to the emergency room after the group’s performance on KBS 2TV‘s ‘Music Bank‘. The idol is reported to have fainted shortly after leaving the stage.

Agency DS Entertainment stated, “Miso fainted due to overexertion after finishing the ‘Music Bank’ performance. It seems she overdid it while preparing for [TAHITI's] comeback.”

“Miso mentioned that she wasn’t feeling well ever since ‘Music Bank’ dry rehearsals and visited an Oriental medicine clinic, but afterwards, she kept shaking and wasn’t able to keep it under control. However, she went on stage due to her own desire to be there to perform the new song and safely finished the performance. While leaving the stage, Miso suddenly fainted, and the manager called [911]. She was sent to the emergency room.”

Hopefully, she’ll recover soon.

TAHITI is currently promoting “Hasta Luego“.

Psy wins 12th ‘Music Bank’ K-Chart + Performances from November 9th!

KBS's 'Music Bank' is back with another fun and exciting show that was chock-full of amazing performances!

The MCs for tonight's episode were After School's UEE and actor Lee Jang Woo.

Aside from the usual stages, TAHITI, FIESTAR, D-Unit, Primary, Noel, Byul and Boyfriend held their comeback stages, while Baek Seung Heon made his debut.

As for the winners, Psy faced off against Ailee for this week's 'K-Chart', but in the end, it was Psy who clinched the 'K-Chart' win with "Gangnam Style".

Congratulations to Psy on his 12th K-Chart win (current consecutive streak of 9)!
