Having already worked with a high-profile K-Pop star, it seems the ambitious singer is interested in expanding his repertoire of K-Pop collabs. He name-dropped none other than 2PM's Nichkhun, who is also from Thailand, as a possible candidate for a future collaboration. “I want to work with 2PM member Nichkhun,” he stated.

Since taking the number one spot on the fifth season of "Academy Fantasia," Natthew has enjoyed much commercial success. Outside of his Thai pop endeavors, the singer has also taken part in a production of the musical Fame, receiving much love from fans.

1TYM’s Danny reveals he’s gotten married and has a baby boy

Posted: 01 Dec 2012 10:10 PM PST

Where are all of the Hip Hop Villagers?!

As an old time Hip Hop Villager myself, it seems that in the midst of all of our cries for Teddy to get his butt out of 2NE1‘s studio and back into a 1TYM reunion production, member Danny has gone and gotten married… and is now a father to a three month old baby boy!

Since the group dropped off the planet after their fifth album, fans have been keeping updated through random Twitter updates that showed some have gone on to open successful restaurants while others, like Teddy, remained in the music business, so it comes as a pleasant surprise to hear that Danny’s started a family of his own through his ‘Danny From L.A.‘ episode with Big Bang.

Danny announces, “For anyone who doesn’t know, I did get married and I have a kid that’s three months old. It’s my first time saying this… because I am getting old now! Right?”

Check out the clip below, beginning at about 2:55!

Block B’s Zico pre-releases another track from upcoming mixtape, ‘Zico on the Block 1.5′

Posted: 01 Dec 2012 09:27 PM PST

Last year, Block B‘s leader Zico commanded the stage as a guest at Swings‘ concert with a completely new track.

Ever since, fans have been requesting for studio copies of the song to be released, as they’ve had to rely on fancams taken at the hip hop concert for over a year. Fortunately, Zico went ahead and posted up the studio download as well as the lyrics for the song on November 30th to be included as a part of his ‘Zico on the Block 1.5‘ mixtape.

In tune with the rest of his off-album releases, the lyrics dive deep into topics idols usually steer clear from, calling out fakes and separating himself from hypocrites focused on self image over talent, to which he collectively refers to as “c****“.

‘Cheongdamdong Alice’ kicks off to a slow start with lackluster viewer ratings

Posted: 01 Dec 2012 05:59 PM PST

SBS‘s new weekend drama ‘Cheongdamdong Alice‘ is off to a weak start.

According to the latest findings by AGB Nielsen Media Research, the new series garnered a nationwide viewer rating of 8.6% for its Saturday premiere. It’s sole rival drama, MBC‘s ‘May Queen‘, more than tripled the rating, recording an impressive 26.4%.

However, despite receiving low viewer ratings in its first episode, ‘Cheongdamdong Alice’ is being watched closely with high expectations by many as it holds some big names in its cast like Moon Geun Young, Park Si Hoo, and Kim Ji Suk.

The drama tells the story of an ordinary girl becoming a 'Cheongdamdong' (high class neighborhood) daughter-in-law. It will also deal with the requirements of marriage as well as true happiness.

Actor Choi Min Soo leaves a warning message for Yoo Jae Suk?

Posted: 01 Dec 2012 05:10 PM PST

It seems as though veteran actor Choi Min Soo is not satisfied even after successfully getting revenge upon the ‘grasshopper’ Yoo Jae Suk on ‘Running Man‘.

During an interview segment with KBS‘s ‘Entertainment Relay‘, reporter Angela Kim suggested having a staring contest with Choi Min Soo. But upon making eye contact with the actor, the reporter burst into laughter and remarked, “This reminds me of what you did to Yoo Jae Suk in that scene [on 'Running Man'].”

Two years ago on ‘Running Man’, Choi Min Soo suffered a humiliation after he was quickly eliminated by Yoo Jae Suk. The actor then terrroized both the cast and crew of ‘Running Man’ and successfully got his revenge twice on the show.

While thinking back to his appearances on ‘Running Man’, Choi Min Soo left a short message of warning for Yoo Jae Suk, saying, “I’m going to make you shut your mouth.”

Choi Siwon’s character in ‘King of Dramas’ is revealed to be based on real-life stars

Posted: 01 Dec 2012 04:18 PM PST

SBS‘ ‘King of DramasJang Hang Joon PD recently shocked viewers by revealing that Choi Siwon‘s character, Kang Hyun Min, is based on real-life stars.

Jang Hang Joon PD revealed, “I can’t point to one person and say it’s them. But Kang Hyun Min’s character is based on the characters of a couple real-life people. The entertainment industry has a variety of actors. Among them there are stars who are stiff necked and actors who are not that wise. Kang Hyun Min is a character made up of a mix of these personalities.”

During a recent press conference for the drama, Choi Siwon was asked whether there is a Super Junior member closest to his character to which he replied, “In real-life, none of the members are like that. Everyone is sensitive and kind.”

What actors or idols do you suspect of having this kind of personality?
