Jo Kwon recently revealed the thoughts he had while filming MBC‘s ‘We Got Married’ with Brown Eyed GirlsGa In.

During an interview with fashion magazine @star1, Jo Kwon stated, “I filmed [We Got Married] as if I were really dating Ga In.

He continued with,”At the time I wanted to show everyone that celebrities can sincerely date just like regular people. In order to be able to connect with the viewers we needed to be honest. I think fans loved us because I always thought ‘we’re really dating, we really got married’ to myself.

Jo Kwon also revealed he has maintained a good relationship with Ga In and the two stars contact each other once in a while.

In related news, 2AM will be making a comeback with a new album this spring.

Tablo talks K-pop with BBC News

Epik High frontman Tablo recently participated in an interview with BBC News.

During the interview Tablo talked about the rise of K-pop and how both Psy and K-pop both mutually benefited from each other, he even pulled out the word symbiotic. Tablo also briefly touched upon Epik High and the meaning of his own music.

‘School 2013′ actors Lee Jong Suk and Kim Woo Bin get up close and personal

An interesting scene between actors Lee Jong Suk and Kim Woo Bin of ‘School 2013‘ was released on the drama’s official homepage.

The photos above suggest that the two co-stars got a bit up close and personal. Kim Woo Bin can be seen grabbing the back of Lee Jong Suk’s head for what looks like a potential kiss.

Shortly after its release, Leessang‘s “Tears” has topped real-time music charts!

“Tears” swept away Huh Gak‘s “Monodrama“, taking over 1st place on Melon, Bugs, Mnet, Naver, Daum, and Monkey3.

Leessang worked with producer Duble Sidekick since last year on the new single, which includes piano by Yoon Gun and vocals by THE SEEYA's Yoojin as well as Gary‘s lyrics. NS Yoon-G and DMTN‘s (formerly known as DalmatianDaniel featured in the music video as well.

Rising actor Joo Won expressed his interest in his ‘7th Grade Civil Servant‘ co-star Choi Kang Hee.

On the January 25th episode of ‘Section TV Entertainment Relay‘, Choi Kang Hee revealed that she joined the drama’s cast because of Joo Won’s recommendation. Joo Won explained, “I heard a couple of actresses’ names come up when discussing who would be my partner. I didn’t hesitate for a second and brought up Choi Kang Hee sunbae.”

The actress also commented on what it was like partnering up with a much younger actor. She stated, “It’s a bit embarrassing when I have to do cute expressions in front of a younger man,” and Joo Won responded, “I think noona’s cute though.”

A photo of Girls’ Generation‘s youngest member Seohyun and popular TV host Kang Ho Dong has become a hot topic online.

The photo, posted under the title “The difference in head size between Seohyun and Kang Ho Dong”, has netizens talking about how Seohyun’s head looks impossibly small next to Kang Ho Dong’s larger-than-average dome.

Director Jang Yoo Jung revealed that she prepared SHINee‘s Onew for musicals by using heels.

On the January 25th episode of tvN‘s ‘Kim Mi Kyung Show‘, the musical director and writer shared a behind-the-scenes story from the 2010 musical ‘The Brothers were Brave‘, which was Onew’s musical debut.

Jang Yoo Jung called Clazziquai‘s Alex out to the stage and said, “You have to have a goal to your dreams.” She then asked him to grab MC Kim Mi Kyung‘s high heels, which caused him to come to the stage more quickly than before. The director explained, “When we have a goal, our movements become more clear and defined.”

She then revealed, “I also trained Onew in this way with heels.”

Lee Seung Gi has been receiving attention after revealing his first impression of “nation’s first love” miss A‘s Suzy.

On the January 25th broadcast of ‘Section TV Entertainment Relay‘, Lee Seung Gi was asked what he thought of  his Book of the House of Gu‘ co-star. He answered immediately, “She’s pretty. Her visuals are pretty amazing.”

Actor Lee Jun Ki to release single album

Actor Lee Jun Ki will be releasing a new single album at the end of the month!

CBC‘, which stands for “Case by Case”, will be the actor’s fourth mini-album. His last single album, ‘Deucer‘, was released early 2012. For ‘CBC’, Lee Jun Ki worked with Mad Soul Child‘s Lee Sang Yeol and Seo Taiji Band‘s Lee Shin Ho.

The album will contain five tracks in all, including the title song “Lost Frame” and the ballad “Tonight“.

2PM lands on cover of Japanese magazine ‘Hanako’ for 3rd year in a row

2PM has landed on the cover of popular Japanese magazine Hanako for the third year in a row.

What’s especially notable is that the popular weekly women’s magazine has only featured people on its cover a few times. The 2PM members were the first Korean artists to grace the cover of the yearly ‘Korea Special Edition’ in 2011, which sold out. Last year, 2PM and their brother group 2AM were both featured on the cover.

The upcoming 2013 ‘Korea Special Edition’ featuring 2PM will be released on February 14th, making 2PM the only artists to have ever made Hanako’s cover for three consecutive years.

Hanako’s editorial department commented, “2PM are loved for their Korean albums as well as their Japanese music, and each of the six members have fans of different ages. In the third year since their Japanese debut, 2PM have confirmed themselves as a talented group, and they’re making a boom here. With their Tokyo Dome Concert coming up in April, many are looking forward to 2PM’s growth as artists.”

JYP Entertainment stated, “The fact that 2PM has graced the cover of Hanako for the third year in a row indicates their hot popularity there. Considering K-Pop is popular in Japan, we’re happy that 2PM became the first Korean artists to be featured on the cover, especially for three years. We’d like to express our thanks to the fans who love and support 2PM.”

CNBLUE and Phantom meet up backstage at ‘Sketchbook’

Phantom and CNBLUE met up behind-the-scenes at KBS 2TV‘s ‘Sketchbook‘.

The two groups, who released their latest albums around the same time, took photos backstage. For the January 25th broadcast, Phantom performed “Like Cho Yong Pil“ from their mini-albumPhantom Theory‘, while CNBLUE prepared songs from their highly successful album ‘Re:Blue‘.

4minute‘s Gayoon is apparently insecure about her ankles.

The idol, who’s currently promoting with Jiyoon as the subunit 2YOON, revealed the part of her body she’s least happy with during a filming of KBS 2TV‘s ‘Generation Empathy Saturday‘.

Jiyoon also had a complaint about her legs. She stated, “My legs aren’t that pretty, so to [make up for it], I wear something really short or I wear skinny jeans.”

Gayoon then added, “My feet are small, and my ankles are thin. To cover those flaws, I always wear stockings that come up over them.”

On the same episode, Gayoon commented on a recent photo shoot she had with a snake. She shared, “I’m scared of animals with fur, and I like animals without fur. I’m interested in fashion, so I personally suggested the idea.”

This episode will air on the 26th KST.

Girls’ Generation wins ‘Music Bank’ K-Chart + Performances from January 25th!

KBS' 'Music Bank' is back with another fun and exciting show chock-full of amazing performances!

The MCs for tonight's episode were After School's UEE and actor Lee Jang Woo.

Aside from the usual stages, Nine MusesMR.MR, and Monday Kiz held their comeback stages.

As for the winners, Girls' Generation faced off against CNBLUE for this week's 'K-Chart', but in the end, it was Girls’ Generation who clinched the 'K-Chart' win with "I Got A Boy”.

Choi Woo Shik to return for ‘Special Affairs Team TEN’ Season 2

Rookie actor Choi Woo Shik will return for the second season of OCN‘s ‘Special Affairs Team TEN‘, which will premiere later this year.

Choi Woo Shik is reprising his role as the lovable detective Park Min Ho alongside actors Joo Sang WookJo An, as well as the rest of the cast from the first season.

His new agency JYP Entertainment stated, “Following his roles as Do Chi San in ‘Rooftop Prince‘ and Yul Woo Bong in the sitcom ‘Family‘, actor Choi Woo Shik will show a new side to the public, so please look forward to it.”

Choi Woo Shik recently finished filming for the sitcom ‘Family’, and he’s currently starring in the upcoming film ‘Secret to Greatness‘.

2YOON respond to the success of their chatting event with fans

2YOON recently opened up a 1:1 KakaoTalk chatting event with their fans by revealing their phone numbers, and the two were pleasantly surprised by its success.

Gayoon shared, “We revealed our phone numbers to get closer with our fans, and we were really surprised that a lot more people than expected reached out to us.”

Jiyoon also commented, “There seem to be a lot of people who want to confirm if they really are 2YOON’s numbers. That is why we sometimes answer the calls we get, but when we get answer, there are a lot more people who hang up [than those who don't].

During the interview, 2YOON checked their messages from fans and stated, “We think news of our phone number event spread to ‘K Force Daily‘. We get a lot of messages from soldiers saying, ‘We’re supporting you.’ At first we wanted to communicate with our fans by exchanging messages with them, but following the unexpectedly enormous response, it has become difficult to send replies. But 2YOON might randomly respond to your call, so we hope that you don’t get too shocked.”

On the January 24th premiere of MBC‘s romantic comedy ‘7th Grade Civil Servant‘, 2PM‘s Chansung made his first appearance as elite agent Gong Do Ha.

Gong Do Ha (Chansung) instantly grabbed viewers’ attention with his unusual first encounter with Seo Won (Choi Kang Hee), who used him as a shield to hide from Gil Ro (Joo Won) right as he was about to have his interview.

Chansung made female viewers swoon with his charismatic role as Seo Won’s “black knight.” He showed his character’s caring side whenever she needed help during the episode. From the looks of it, viewers are expecting an interesting love triangle to start brewing between the two male agents, Gong Do Ha and Gil Ro, and Seo Won.
