Hallyu star Kim Hyun Joong finally kicked off his first Japanese concert tour of 2013 in Kobe, Japan.

Kim Hyun Joong held his 'JAPAN TOUR 2013 "UNLIMITED"' tour at the Kobe World Memorial Hall on January 6 at 5:00 PM. According to his agency KeyEast Entertainment, the star left for Japan on the 5th to personally participated in the preparations in stage directing meeting and checking on the sound, video, and overall flow with staff.

In addition, Kim Hyun Joong arranged many of his hits in a band format and would sing them during the tour. The keywords for this tour will be "communication" and "sharing" in an effort to get closer to his Japanese fans.

A representative stated, "Kim Hyun Joong always considers his fans first and made a firm determination that he will give a concert in which he can breathe with his fans as one."

The first leg of his tour in Kobe, Kim Hyun Joong will visit nine other Japanese cities including Saitama, Nagoya and Fukuoka.

KARA hold successful Tokyo Dome concert

KARA became the first Korean girl group to hold a concert at the Tokyo Dome.

On January 6th, KARA held a solo concert titled 'KARASIA 2013 Happy New Year in Tokyo Dome' at the Tokyo Dome and shared their achievement with the 45,000-member crowd cheering for them. The group proved its colossal popularity and influence in the region when tickets for the show sold out in 5 minutes in December.

KARA opened up the stage with "Pandora" and stayed standing during the full 180 minutes of the concert. The girls performed a total of 22 songs in Korean and Japanese, and as each song started, the audience roared in cheers.

Park Gyuri, Nicole and Kang Jiyoung also took the stage with their individual solo stages, before concluding the show with an encore performance of "Mister".

KARA members said, "We are standing here because of the fans gave us huge supports. In order for a bicycle to move forward, the two wheels have to keep rolling, and we hope that our fans and us can become the two wheels that move forward."

KARA sheds tears on Tokyo concert

KARA successfully wrapped up their concert "KARASIA 2013 Happy New Year in Tokyo Dome" on 6th January.

This is the first time KARA performed on Tokyo Dome on their own, more than 45K fans attended their concert.

After Oh Yeon Soo and Lee Jang Woo involved in relationship scandal, 'We Got Married' team has made their official decision regarding Oh Yeon Seo and Lee Joon couple of the show.

MBC 'We Got Married' production team announced, "Oh Yeon Seo and Lee Joon couple will not be taking off of the program. We met up with Oh Yeon Seo to find out the truth, and she denied her relationship with Lee Jang Woo."

They continued, "According to her, the rumors are baseless. The Lee Joon and Oh Yeon Seo couple will not be leaving the show and will continue with broadcast and filming as normal."

On January 3, local media outlets reported that Oh Yeon Seo and Lee Jang Woo, the lead couple of 'Oh Ja Ryong is Coming', are dating in real life. Several pictures of the two enjoying what looks to be a date were also published.

After making a splash with its record-breaking comeback album 'I Got A Boy', Girls' Generation has been drawing attention not only in Korea but in international market as well, receiving high compliments from foreign presses.

Girls' Generation released their new album 'I Got A Boy' on January 1st, and a number of presses in the US, including MTV, Billboard and Popdust, highly complimented their new album.

Billboard reported a review titled "Girls' Generation, 'I Got A Boy': Track-By-Track Review", which said, "It is a high-quality album that is composed of progressive EDM (electronic dance music), classic modern R&B, and new wave sound of 1980s. The album will satisfy a great number of popular music fans."

It also praised the group's title song as "one of the most-forward thinking lead pop singles heard in any country" and that "with this title track, Girls' Generation just set the bar truly high for pop in 2013."

MTV also mentioned that "the entire thing is a fashion whirlwind so jam-packed with rad clothes (many of which are available to score yourselves), it's pretty much impossible to watch it just once," while Popdust reported, "Girls' Generation received the title of the most innovative group."

Known for their acoustic live performances, Nega Network's rookie band LUNAFLY is back with another amazing cover song, to the delight of the fans.

The trio held their live performance at Dal.Komm Coffee (Sweet Coffee) in Hongdae on January 5th. During the showcase, they performed a cover of Maroon 5's hit single, "Payphone" and once again showcased their clear and steady voices as well as impressive instrumental skills.

Skarf is the new face of Samsung Galaxy camera

Korean-Singaporean girl group, Skarf, has been chosen as the new models for Samsung's Galaxy Camera series.

Samsung announced that Skarf is the latest addition to its line-up of celebrity ambassadors for the Samsung Galaxy Camera, and will be joining the current ambassador, Singapore actor Desmond Tan in promoting for the brand.

As part of their promotions, Skarf held a fan meeting, which attracted more than 600 fans. Also, the members have been previously using the camera to take pictures of their daily life as well as uploading those pictures on their social networking sites.

Meanwhile, Skarf is set to make a return in February as a 5-member group.

The 'Jung Sisters', Girls' Generation's Jessica and f(x)'s Krystal became the new faces of jewelry brand Stonehenge.

Stonehenge recently announced that it has chosen Jessica and Krystal as its new advertising models for the year of 2013 and released their first pictorial for the brand. Having the concept of "Beautiful Moment", the shoot showcases the sibling's various emotions while donning their elegant wedding dresses and jewelries.

A spokesperson for the brand revealed that the studio was full of laughs throughout the shooting. Jessica and Krystal were said to show unending affection for each other as well.

JYJ's Kim Jaejoong has just unveiled the teaser poster for his upcoming solo mini concert and fan meeting, heightening the anticipation of the fans.

Titled 'Your, My and Mine', the mini concert will be held at Kintex on January 26th and 27th in commemoration of his birthday as well as the release of Jaejoong's upcoming solo album, 'Mine'. Tickets for the mini concert will go on sale starting from January 7th.

SPEED releases drama version MV for “Sad Promise”

Following the release of its dance version music video, SPEED has now unveiled the drama version music video for their comeback title track, "Sad Promise".

The drama version of the music video, "Sad Promise" features not only Park Bo Young but also Ji Chang Wook, Ha Suk Jin and A Pink's Son Na Eun as well as Kim Young Ho, Jung So Young and Choi Ji Yeon. The MV is reported to have cost over 750 million won and features a 80's background. The story revolves around four characters and show the sadness of friendship and love.

BEAST's Kikwang gets humiliated over his height!

On SBS's 'Running Man' broadcasted on January 6th. Beast's Lee Kikwang drew out laughter when he was humiliated while giving Choi Ji Woo a piggyback ride.

The challenge of the game is to give a member from the other team piggyback ride. Lee Kikwang from Song Jihyo's team had to give Choi Jiwoo a piggyback ride. 

Kikwang got embarassed due to Choi Jiwoo's height (174 cm). Ji Woo could not lie on his back easily, then Kikwang had to carry her in a very uncomfortable pose. Everyone laughed as Choi Ji Woo's feet even touched the ground. 

Simon D and Gary also teased Choi Ji Woo, "What did you eat in the morning?" leading a cute struggle.

Big Bang's G-Dragon showered his praises for Park Myung Soo's musical talent.

On the January 5th episode of MBC's 'Infinity Challenge', G-Dragon appeared as guest and praised Park Myung Soo by saying, "You are a genius!" upon hearing that Park Myung Soo studied songwriting for 3 months, and wrote six songs in just one month.

G-Dragon also commented on Park Myung Soo's "Gangbook Fancy Guy" saying, "It's not bad at all. The melody is very catchy."

It has been revealed that 'My Daughter the Flower' co-stars, Choi Jin Hyuk and Son Eun Seo have split after dating for half a year.

Both of their respective managements representatives confirmed the news saying, "Because they were both so busy with work they were unable to meet up frequently and decided to end their relationship."

Choi Jin Hyuk and Son Eun Seo met on set of SBS drama 'My Daughter the Flower' in June 2011 and admitted they were dating via their social networking sites.

Big Star’s FeelDog to make acting debut in new KBS sitcom

Big Star's FeelDog will be taking his first acting challenge in the upcoming KBS sitcom.

According to Brave Entertainment, FeelDog has been cast in KBS 2TV's new sitcom 'A Bit of Love' ('Remaining Love') for the role of a teenage student.

FeelDog also shared his thoughts on the casting saying, "I was so happy and I'm honored to be working with such wonderful senior actors. I'll do my best to make sure the producers of the drama will not regret picking me."

'Remaining Love' will be a comedy series about a group of teenagers who seem mature than their adults counterparts. The sitcom kicks off shooting later this month, and will premiere in early February.
