2NE1‘s Dara has been revealed to have worn a 100 carat ring for her ‘Elle‘ photoshoot.

The fashion editor for the magazine shared via Twitter, “‘Elle’ is discovering a new side to [Dara]! We’re going to reveal her wearing the 100 carat ring in March. She’s so pretty and kind~“.

Her March photoshoot for ‘Elle’ is receiving a lot of attention because all 2NE1 members had a separate photoshoot with 4 different magazine.

CL had posed for ‘Harper’s BAZAAR‘, Minzy had posed for ‘Marie Claire‘, Bom for ‘Allure‘, and Dara for ‘Elle’.

T-ara to release 10 different versions of “Bunny Style” in Japan

T-ara will be releasing 10 different version of their new Japanese single “Bunny Style“.

All 7 members will have a solo version of the song, and then the girls will break off into 3 subunits with their own versions, for a total of 10. The subunits will be Soyeon-Ahreum, Boram-Qri, and Jiyeon-Eunjung-Hyomin. This will be the first time a song will be promoted in Japan in such a unique way.

The song title comes from the Japanese phrase ‘bunny style’, which describes a woman who gets lonely. The song will feature a ‘bunny dance’ that mimics the movements of bunny.

“Bunny Style” will be released on March 20th.

Verbal Jint releases teaser for “If it ain’t love”

Verbal Jint kicked off 2013 with a Good Start and now he’s planning to return with the release of his digital single, “If it ain’t love“.

“If it ain’t love” is scheduled to be release on February 21 and earlier today, a teaser was uploaded on the official YouTube channel of Brand New Music.

The teaser reveals an old school 1950′s vibe and gives a brief hint at the music.

SuPearls disbands, YG Entertainment nullifies contracts

It’s been revealed that YG Entertainment‘s new girl group SuPearls have disbanded.

YG Entertainment stated, “We’ve decided to nullify the contracts of Lee Michelle, Lee Jung Mi, and Lee Seung Joo without any conditions“. Out of the girls who were supposed to debut under the highly anticipated girl group, only Lee Hi will be staying in the company to continue her solo career.

The label added, “Even though it’s disappointing, they decided that they should break up for the benefit of each other, so we have decided on this unavoidable decision.” Not only so, but YG Entertainment is currently busy with their upcoming girl group, as well as the comebacks for 2NE1, G-Dragon, and Kang Seung Yoon. Lee Hi will also release her solo album next month.

Julien Kang and Yoon Se Ah to leave ‘We Got Married’

Julien Kang and Yoon Se Ah will be leaving ‘We Got Married‘.

The couple has not filmed for their last date yet, but MBC said, “It’s true that Julien Kang and Yoon Se Ah are leaving ‘We Got Married’. We’re surprised that the articles came out saying they will be leaving even before they filmed their last episode. We even decided on the couple that will be replacing them.

Jo Jung Chi and Jung In will be replacing the pair after they leave. The two musicians have been dating each other for over 10 years, and will be the 2nd real-life couple to star on the show after Kim Yong Joon and Hwang Jung Eum. The two do not have an exact set date to start filming for the show, but fans are already looking forward to the couple.

Jo Jung Chi recently got popular through ‘Infinity Challenge‘, and Jung In has been well loved as one of Leessang‘s famous featured artists.

[Spoiler] A lucky contestant returns to ‘K-Pop Star 2′

After ‘Top 10′ nominee Kim Do Yeon made the shocking decision last week to quit the audition program ‘K-Pop Star 2‘, an empty slot opened up for the return of a former contestant. In this week’s episode, it was revealed that the lucky contestant who earned a second chance was none other than Shin Ji Hoon, who had been eliminated at the cusp of the ‘Top 10′ in last week’s ‘Battle Audition’ finals.

“It was a very sudden thing, so we were all shocked,” J.Y. Park, one of the judges, said. “All three of us got together and decided whom to select, and we all picked one person in a unanimous decision. The most important factor was the expectation of improvement.”

Shin Ji Hoon expressed her determination for the live auditions, one of the most grueling parts of any audition program. “I’ll work hard and not let you down,” she said.

To celebrate the release of their 2nd mini-album, the young men of NU'EST recently held a a mini concert titled 'Show Time! NU'EST Time!'

For those who couldn’t make the “quick” trip to South Korea, or couldn’t get tickets to the intimate gathering, LOEN TV has shared their footage of a few performances.

B.A.P reveals making-of clip for Seoul filming of “One Shot” MV

After previously releasing the BTS footage for filming in the Philippines, B.A.P has now revealed the Seoul making-of clip for “One Shot“!

The clip takes fans behind the scenes, where the members joke around and have fun backstage. There are also mini-interviews with several members.

As said before, the 7-minute music video was filmed in Philippines and in Korea. The music video is reported to have cost 1 billion KRW (approximately 910,000 USD). The entire filming process took over 100 hours, and the members filmed in both Korea and Philippines on 10 different sets.

The producers for SBS‘ ‘Running Man‘ issued an official apology for their mistake in the subtitles.

Producer Im Hyung Taek apologized by saying, “The subtitles’ mistake was 100% due to the producers’ fault. A corrected clip will be uploaded on replay VOD.

The recent episode of ‘Running Man’ aired a Macau special. The ‘Running Man’ members arrived at Macau’s landmark, Macau Tower, to carry out various missions of bungee jumping, sky walking, and mast climbing.

Yoo Jae Suk and Lee Kwang Soo decided to carry out the mast climbing mission and climbed Macau Tower on a ladder. During their mission, the producers misspelled Yoo Jae Suk’s name in the subtitles which was quickly spotted by the viewers. Due to the increasing number of complaints, the producers issued an official apology and corrected their mistake.

Meanwhile, the episode also showed Song Ji Hyo, Han Hye Jin, and Lee Dong Wook successfully carrying out their bungee jumping mission on the world’s tallest Macau Tower.

Hyun Bin burned his hand while filming new CF

Hyun Bin suffered a burn on his hand during filming.

The actor was recently chosen as a model for the outdoor brand K2. The brand released a BTS photo of the actor getting his hand treated by a staff member. He burnt his hand while handling fire for the shoot. However, he went on with a bright smile throughout the entire shoot even with his injury.

Because the photoshoot was for an outdoor brand, he weathered through rainy winds and pouring rain, and fell over an uncountable number of times. However, he never lost his smile through the entire photoshoot and expressed the concept perfectly to gain praise from the entire crew.

‘Hip hop’s Beethoven’ KK has released the music video for ”Pain” featuring Gavy NJ‘s Jenny.

Last year, KK promoted “Stand By” and “On The Road to Breaking Up“. His first mini album ‘Variety Show‘ features 8 songs with “Pain” as his lead single. Gavy NJ’s Jenny features as the main vocalist for the song. The track expresses the sadness of farewells, and is a song that pours out rapping.

He features other artists such as MC Sniper and Outsider in the album, and is named ‘Variety Show’ because he shows off a variety of styles. Even though he is deaf in one ear, he has been working actively in the genre and is highly popular to hip-hop maniacs. Check out the song below!

LUNAFLY covers Bruno Mars’ “Locked out of Heaven”

Nega Network's 3-member rookie group LUNAFLY, who made their debut with “How Nice Would It Be“, has released their cover of “Locked Out of Heaven“ by Bruno Mars.

The group has released a slew of covers including  Olly Murs‘ hit song, “Trouble Maker“,  Bruno Mars' "Just The Way You Are", and many others.

“Locked Out of Heaven” was a major hit for Bruno Mars in 2012. The track even topped the Billboard Hot 100 for six consecutive weeks. The three LUNAFLY members once again show off their musical talent as they play and sing along to the song, which they’ve reinterpreted to fit their style.

‘Birth of a Great Star’ contestant Kim Hye Ri debuts with “Spring Comes”

MBC‘s ’Birth of a Great Star‘ contestant Kim Hye Ri made her official debut as a solo artist on February 18th with new single “Spring Comes“.

Her agency Yedang Entertainment stated on February 15th, “‘Spring Comes’ is written by rookie composer B. Plan, and is a sad ballad that matches Kim Hye Ri’s voice well. Kim Hye Ri has improved her vocal skills in the 1 year and 8 months after her time on ‘Birth of a Great Star’. The music video matches the fairytale-like mood of the song.

Brave Brothers releases Junhyung’s version of the “You Got Some Nerve” MV teaser

Hit making producer Brave Brothers recently revealed the artists for his upcoming project “Absurd“. Now he has released the first music video teaser featuring project member, B2ST‘s Junhyung!

The photo shows the words "19+ Profanity Included – Absurd", written in black and red, and Junhyung, FeelDog, and LE striking their swag-filled poses.

In the music video teaser, the red 19 warning is prominently displayed and Junhyung sits on a throne like chair spitting out sizzling rap lyrics. Junhyung also makes a hand gesture that has given another Kpop artist a ton of grief lately, hopefully since this is a MV the public will view it more favorably.

You can also see Junhyung like you’ve never seen before. Many fans had been curious as to what the combination of Junhyung, FeelDog and LE would sound like, and their curiosity was finally sated with the teaser. Brave Brothers said, “We finished the filming happily. All three artists were happy with the product.

Kim Tae Woo’s MV teaser for “Cosmic Girl” released!

Singer Kim Tae Woo is returning after a two year hiatus!

The talented singer revealed the above teaser image a few days ago and now has teased the music video.

As mentioned previously, MBC's 'Birth of a Great Star' contestant and YouTube star Megan Lee has signed with veteran singer Kim Tae Woo's agency and will be singing a duet, titled "Oppa", with him on this album. In addition to the duet, Kim Tae Woo’s anticipated album 'T-LOVE' will also include four more songs with the title track being called “Cosmic Girl“, which has been produced by the Red Rocket team.

The song is said to have a hip hop beat with a rock sound, and sings of the emotions of a man who approaches his perfect ideal type. In the music video teaser, you see Kim Tae Woo sitting pensively in a ‘cosmic bar’ while childhood memories of a cute couple flash by.

In the last quick flash, we see the profile of a red-haired woman (giving off a very ‘The Fifth Element‘ vibe). We wonder if that is indeed his girl from the cosmos.

The album will drop on the 20th, so stay tuned for the release!

 

Rookie duo Rainy releases heart-wrenching teaser for “Stop the Tears” + mini-album

Known as the '2nd Davichi', rookie girl duo Rainy have signaled their return with the release of a music video teaser for new single, “Stop the Tears“. The song is featured on the pair’s first mini-album, ‘Ruwon‘ released on February 18th.

Rainy's debut song, "Break Up Words" ranked high on music charts back in September, so expectations are even higher for their new single. The two members,'Super Diva' contestant Kim Bo Haeng, and singer-songwriter Cindy share one major quality, amazing voices.

Based on a true story, their new song is an emotional ballad about how hard it is to recover after a break up. In fact, the entire 6- track album is filled with true-to-life stories of the ups and downs of love.
