Lee Kwang Soo is growing so popular in all over Asia!
During February 17th and 24th broadcasts of SBS 'Running Man', Lee Kwang Soo's huge popularity in Macau and Vietnam were showed.
As soon as they landed to the airport, he was swarmed by the fans. Fans in Macau were shoutinghis names and Lee Kwang soo answered back with his happy dance. They were frantic about his every move and carried around cards and posters written, "Kwang Soo is the best", "Kwang Soo Oppa" and more.
In 'Running Man', Lee Kwang Soo is appearing as a comic character who always goes through endless betrayals and troubles. His character is a risky one since it could cast a counter affect on him but he knows how to control himself to appeal to the audience and not be criticized by them.
Netizens commented, "I hope he will keep dominating", "I was so surprised by his popularity", "I'm sure he is a great person" and "A true Asian prince."

Following in the footsteps of groups like EXO-K/EXO-M and more recently, another group with K-pop roots will be debuting simultaneously in Korea and China.
A new group called M4M, will be debuting, coming from Korea's Cube Entertainment and China's Xing Tian. The members were all put together after passing rigorous audition rounds in China, Hong Kong and Taiwan. Cube Entertainment took charge in training the group for a total of 1,460 days. And now, the group is just about ready to debut!
Members Jimmy, Vinson, Bin and Alen will be launching various teaser clips in Korea and China before they officially hit the scene in March. They plan to introduce themselves to the public through various showcases.

The leader of the ballad idol group 2AM, Jo Kwon, has been cast in the new KBS drama 'The Dignity of the Dispatch' (working title).
A KBS representative confirmed that the idol has made his final decision to be in the drama. Jo Kwon's character will be the cheerful and energetic Woo Kye Kyung, who is a lot like how the singer is in real life.
Jo Kwon has acted before in the sitcom 'All My Love' but this will be his first time officially starring in a drama. The upcoming project will put him alongside actors like Kim Hye Soo and Oh Ji Ho.
'The Dignity of the Dispatch' is set to start its run on April 1st after the end of the current drama 'Advertisement Genius Lee Tae Baek'.

Super Junior-M successfully wrapped up its "2013 Super Junior M Fan Party: Break Down" fan meet tour.
After their first fan party in Thailand, Super Junior-M held its fan meets at National Taiwan University in Taiwan from February 21-23, and at Sichuan Provincial Gymnasium in Chengdu, China, on February 24. For four days the group entertained 20,000 fans.
Local presses also made detailed reports of their activities from its entry into Taiwan to the press interviews and the fan meets. One media outlet especially reported about every detail in the fan meeting tour.
During the fan party, Super Junior-M performed songs from their most recent single "Break Down" as well as "Go" and "Good Bye My Love" from its second studio album. A number of different individual performances were prepared just for the show as well.
They also took a lot of time to have talks and events with the fans, and showed a great effort in trying to have more intimate communication with them.

The boys of Teen Top finally made their comeback and performed their latest title track, "Miss Right" for the first time!
On February 26th, Teen Top held their first showcase 'TEENTOP FIRST ALBUM No.1' at the Interpark Art Center in Seoul to celebrate their comeback. The special event was streamed live all over the world through LOEN TV and MelOn.
During the show, the group performed a number of hits including their latest title track, "Miss Right", impressing the fans with their explosive charisma. "Miss Right" is a fresh track with an easy to remember melody line which is included in Teen Top's first full album 'No.1'.

JYJ will donate all profits from their appearance at KBEE (Korea Brand & Entertainment Expo) to UNICEF.
The popular group has been appointed as the honorary ambassadors for the KBEE2012, which was held in Osaka last November. They participated as the face of the biggest Hallyu expo outside Korea by joining a UNICEF's campaign in Korea and the expo's opening ceremony in Japan.
Jaejoong stated, "We were happy to have been a part of last year's KBEE, which promoted meaningful communication between Korea and Japan. We are now taking on this opportunity to give back to those in need. Through our donation to UNICEF, I wanted to send a sign of consolation for children who are suffering due to starvation and poverty around the world."
UNICEF Korea's Park Dong Eun stated, "JYJ participated in the 'Friend Doll Campaign' and shared the importance of giving back to those in need with their fans all around the world. But we were very surprised to hear that they didn't stop there and have now donated all their money from the event to UNICEF," and "We believe that their thoughtful act will be a warmth that envelops society."

Hallyu artists Kim Hyun Joong, Ailee and BaeChigi performed the '2K13 Feel Korea' celebration that took place in Brazil's Sao Paulo from February 24th.
'2K13 Feel Korea' is a celebration to mark the 50th anniversary of Korean immigration to Brazil. Over 1,600 fans attended the concert and witnessed the attention-grabbing performances of their favorite artists.
Kim Hyung Joong performed a total number of 5 hit songs from his solo albums including "Break Down", "Kiss Kiss", "Please", "Do You Like That" and "Lucky Guy". An organizer of the show stated, "I really enjoyed working with Kim Hyun Joong after seeing him smile towards fans."

Big Bang members have released a special video message for the fans, promoting the release of fellow member Daesung's upcoming solo Japanese album.
In the video, Seungri and Taeyang took charge on delivering promotional message for Daesung. G-Dragon expressed excitement with his random shout out while T.O.P is just speechless and keeping his cool. Daesung, on the other hand, hilariously strolled behind the boys.

Rookie vocal group MAIN has just unveiled the full music video for their debut track, "Love Is"!
The group MAIN, which stands for Music, Aspire, Impressive, and Narrative, is composed of three members, Il Han, Shi Hoon and Jin Sung. The members are all talented vocalists, who are all skilled in composing, writing and editing songs.
Released on February 26th, the music video for "Love Is" features actors Kim Kang Woo and Yoo Seol Ah.

""Running Man Sparta" Kim Jong Kook Singapore Fan Meet 2013" showcase had finally come to an end. Kicking start with the first song "Today More Than Yesterday" where the interview starts after that. For more than half of the time during the showcase, he communicates and answers in English. Being asked what is his impression of
Right after the short interview, they proceed on to the game session whereby Kim Jong Kook would be playing 3 games together with the lucky fans that were being selected to play with him on stage. The first 2 games are the "Chicken fight" and the "Tug of War" which we would see sometime in the variety show "Running Man" which he is in. During the game, he show his gentleman side towards his fans. During a part of the game, he suddenly asked the MC why is he doing this and the MC replied "So as to please them (the fans) and they would continue to support you for the next 50 years. Is that worth it?" And this follow by him saying yes and continue playing the game. The last game is whereby 3 lucky audiences would be picked out and asked them play a game whereby each have to choose 1 out of 3 given songs – "Men Are All Like That", "One Man" and "Loveable" and sing a small part of it. The person who sings well would be given a prize. At last, a 6 years old boy manages to win the prize and get a photography session with Kim Jong Kook after singing "All Men Are Like That" on stage.
Being asked about his love life again, Kim Jong Kook replied that he had not met anyone yet. So the MC decided to have a "match making" session whereby girls who fit the criteria read out by the MC were chose to come up stage and confess their love to Kim Jong Kook and he will choose a winner for that round. He end off the whole event by singing "Men Are All Like That", "Don't Be Good To Me", "Letter", "Saying I Love You", "Loveable" and an encore stage for "One Man".

Shinhwa's Lee Min Woo has successfully wrapped his first exclusive fan meeting in Beijing.
Lee Min Woo held his '2013 Lee Min Woo Fanmeeting in Beijing M STYLE' as solo artist 'M' at the Wukesong Gymnasium in Beijing, China on February 22nd. It was his first fan meeting in the country but he deeply moved the audience by saying his greetings in Chinese.
He made his grand entrance by performing "Believe in Love" from his first mini album 'M's The Sentimental Reason' and made the fans go crazy by revealing five pictures from his smartphone.
The fan meeting was prepared to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Lee Min Woo's debut as a solo artist, and the fans prepared a cake and a video message to show their support.
Lee Min Woo said, "It was a great pleasure to have such a meaningful event with the fans. Thank you all for your continuous support to me and Shinhwa. I will show you an even better side to myself soon through Shinhwa's upcoming 15-year anniversary concert."

Rookie girl group Hello Venus recently held their first fan meeting since their debut on February 24th in Seoul Hong-dae V-Hall. Titled 'Hello Venus 1st Mini Fan Meeting: 'I'm your Venus', the special event brought in 200 fans and ran for 2 hours and a half.
During the event, Hello Venus gave a mini-concert where they performed number of hits including "Venus", "Like A Wave" and their latest track "What Are You Doing Today". The girls also performed individual and sub-unit group stages.
They also prepared a surprise event for fans where the members held paper hearts while singing "Excitement". All members of Hello Venus shed tears of joy as they shared moments of their career.
The girls stated, "Even though it hasn't been a year since we've made our debut, we're grateful to all of our fans. Thank you so much for your love and we hope we could do this more often."

SBS 'K-Pop Star' season 1 contestant Lee Seung Hoon will be making his debut as part of YG Entertainment's upcoming boy group and not as a solo artist.
Lee Seung Hoon is reported to have focused on honing his rap skills, spending his whole weekends. The report comes as a surprise as many assumed that the participant will debut as a solo.
YG Entertainment's CEO Yang Hyun Suk also confirmed, "Lee Seung Hoon will debut as a part of the new team we are preparing. He is likely to shine brighter when he's in a team than on his own. His debut will depend on his own efforts, but there's no doubt that he's practicing diligently. I guess he will make his debut as early as this year or next year."
However, Yang Hyun Suk revealed that Lee Seung Hoon's group is different from the other boy group that they have been preparing. He said, "Lee Seung Hoon's group will be very different from other idol groups in its nature."
Lee Seung Hoon gained a lot of attention on 'K-Pop Star' for his talent in presenting mind-boggling performances with his delicate yet witty choreographed moves. He signed an exclusive contract with YG Entertainment in May 2012.

IU has transformed into Marilyn Monroe in the brand new teaser for upcoming KBS drama, 'You're the Best, Lee Soon Shin'.
In the preview, IU donned a short blond wig and the trademark Marilyn Monroe white dress, while reenacting the famous Monroe action. She is also giving off sexy charms with her eyes.
'You're the Best, Lee Soon Shin' will portray the hardships that unfold for a mother and her youngest daughter, Lee Soon Shin (IU) after the death of the father. The drama will air on KBS2 from March 9 following the conclusion of 'My Daughter Seo Young'.

Recently, still cuts from the music video of Davichi's upcoming track "Turtle" were revealed. Hyoyoung, who was featured in the video, showed her enigmatic charms while wearing a funky style and thick smoky makeup.
Davichi's "Turtle" is a contemporary ballad number that has been written by the popular songwriter Double Side. The full album itself will features songs from great number of famous songwriters including Vibe's Ryu Jae Hyun and Choi Kyu Sung.

INFINITE's Woohyun will be collaborating with female indie artist Lucia. Their duet track titled, "Cactus", will be released on February 27. Prior the release, Loen Entertainment revealed a music video teaser for the song.
"Cactus" will be the second project from 'Re:Code' which is being planned and produced by Loen Entertainment. It features the collaboration between skillful underground artists and popular artists. The first project produced the mega-hit "Officially Missing You, Too" by Geeks and SISTAR's Soyu.
In the re-edited version of "Cactus", Woohyun's own voice will be mixing perfectly with Lucia's original, giving a fresh sound to the song.

Polaris Entertainment has just revealed the second video teaser for their upcoming new girl group, Ladies' Code featuring member Lee So Jung who rose to fame through Mnet's 'The Voice of Korea'.
Ladies' Code is set to take on a "woman" concept pertaining to a more serious feel as group and will take on various styles in terms of music and concept. The group will be composed of 5 members, So Jung, The Great Birth's contestant Kwon Ri Sae, Ashley, Eun Bi and Juni.
