SHINee‘s own Lunar New Year special, ‘SHINee’s Wonderful Day‘ aired earlier today in Korea on MBC.
As SHINee are preparing for their comeback with “Dream Girl“, the special documentary gave a brief glimpse of their upcoming choreography as the boys danced in SM’s famous cloud dance practice room. The narrator states that the boys are working hard as the prepare for their comeback. However, since the narrator doesn’t specifically state that the choreography is for “Dream Girl”, there’s a chance they’re practicing the choreography for their upcoming Japanese single “Fire“.
The special featured the SHINee members visiting various countries and enjoying themselves in the respective countries. For the special, Onew visited Thailand, Jonghyun visited Japan, Key and Minho visited England, and Taemin visited Switzerland.

SISTAR19 has achieved another ‘perfect all-kill‘ with their hot new single “Gone Not Around Any Longer“!
A perfect all-kill ("PAK") happens when a song sweeps all of South Korea's major music charts and places first on the weekly iChart on Instiz. The song is proving to be a hit as it is very rare for any song to achieve a second perfect all-kill, showing the tremendous popularity of their comeback.
Immediately upon release, SISTAR19 took first place on the real-time charts and has maintained its top spot for the past two weeks. The sub-unit, consisting of vocalist Hyorin and rapper Bora, teamed up with producer Brave Brothers once again for their new title track, which is a song that expresses the feelings of both falling in love and drifting apart.

In order to fool YoonA, who’s known to be incredibly quick, all the Girls’ Generation members had to join in on the hidden camera prank.
During the opening of the show, YoonA stated that she was a big fan of ‘Shinhwa Broadcast’. However, the hidden camera started, and Shinhwa voted her as the Girls’ Generation member with the most disappointing face-to-face visuals. Later on, she was also the last to get picked for the partner match up with the Shinhwa members.
Though YoonA was able to bear through it all and act tough, when she found out that it had all been a hidden camera prank, she teared up.
A PD from the show commented, “The Girls’ Generation members all said that YoonA is very quick, and she’s usually the first to ask if something’s a hidden camera prank. Everyone was nervous, but the rest of the Girls’ Generation members and Shinhwa were so good, they pulled off the first hidden camera on YoonA.”
This episode will air on February 10th at 7:40PM KST.

Song Joong Ki received incredible love for ’Nice Guy‘ and ‘Wolf Boy‘ last year, and the fortune teller foretold an incredible 2013 for the celebrity. The palm reader said that his destiny line was very vivid for this year, meaning that he would have the best year in 2013 as well. He added, “His destiny line and success line go straight up very nicely. It’s a rich fortune that says he keeps gaining wealth.”
Out of the ladies, actress Kim Tae Hee was chosen as the best for the year. The palm reader analyzed that her destiny and brain line met while she was 30-35, meaning that this year, as a 34-year-old, she would still continue on as a top star.

The photos, originally shown on a Japanese broadcast, were posted online with the title, “This child will grow up to be a part of a famous Korean girl group.” Seungyeon was reportedly 6-7 years old in the photos.
The pictures show that Seungyeon hasn’t changed much since she was a baby – her large eyes, slim face, and pale skin remained the same over the years.
Fans commented, “She’s the same as back then“, “Only her body changed“, “I don’t know if she’s cuter now or back then“, and more.

Internet lecture group Seven Edu ran a survey from January 17th to February 6th asking 3,512 visitors “Which star seems like he is a cooking king?” In the survey, Kim Hyun Joong ranked #1 with 39% (1,385) of the votes, and Lee Seung Gi followed close behind with 34% (1,201).
Kim Hyun Joong currently owns a fried chicken restaurant, and he sometimes visits to sign autographs for his fans and wash the dishes himself. He’s previously taken time to make kimbap for his fans during a fan meeting, and he’s also been seen cooking on various variety shows.
Lee Seung Gi was a surprising choice as he’s made a reputation for himself as a ‘bad cook’ on the variety show ‘1 Night 2 Days‘. During the show, he tried out different recipes, all to various degrees of failure. His hyungs on the show always begged him to stop cooking. However, he has shown passion for cooking himself, learning how to bake bread with his mother and not stopping his cooking attempts no matter how much his hyungs discouraged him.
Do you agree with the results?

The idol star shared her excitement for the coming year, the year of the snake, stating, “That is why my anticipation for 2013 is even bigger.” Hyosung was also born in the year of the snake (’89).
She hinted at SECRET’s comeback as well, revealing, “We couldn’t do any domestic activities in the first half of 2012. We will work hard and actively carry out our individual and group activities this year. SECRET plan to make a comeback early this year. We will keep coming out.”
“Since everyone’s so skinny these days, [I think I'm still] on the healthier side. I plan to lose 1 kg (~2 lbs) more and stop. I think I dieted all throughout last year. I exercised and moderated my eating, and I lost around 5 kg (11 lbs) without going through a yo-yo effect.”
Hyosung also shared her thoughts on her sexy pictorial for underwear brand ‘Yes‘: “It was more revealing than I expected, but I had a good time participating in the shoot. It was supposed to be a lovely concept. It was a concept I could pull off well, so it was even more enjoyable.”
“Two years after our debut, our CEO let us have a holiday break. When I look back, the Lunar New Year season and our comeback occurred around the same time, so we spent some time practicing. I feel disappointed if I don’t feature in the holiday special programs though. Although I can’t rest, I prefer it this way.”
Hyosung also shared her joy in buying her mother gifts for the new year, “One time my mom talked about a nourishing cream she wanted so I took her with me to the department store. Three versions, low-cost, average-priced, and high-end, were suggested, and she said, ‘It’s too expensive,’ but ended up choosing the high-end one. Hahaha. She called me the next day and told me she loves it. It was really satisfying.”
“Personally my goal is to be influential this year. I want to try out hosting a program and do a sitcom. Of course, I know acting is difficult, but I am ready to be broken. Because I am usually a ‘huhdang’, I want to play a character who seems perfect, but has flaws too.”
