MYNAME talks about Japanese activities through live stream event

MYNAME has unveiled its future plans for Japan through a live stream event.

On March 11th, MYNAME held a live chat with fans through USTREAM, 'MYNAME is MYNAME' and announced their Japan promotion schedule.

First, the members commented about their first exclusive concert 'The Beginning' held on March 3, "We had a great time with the fans, and we feel so grateful for everyone who shared their time with us."

"Because the concert was a bit different from what we thought, we feel somewhat regretful that we couldn't properly show everything we practiced for. It wasn't perfect because it was our first concert, but we promise that we will show a better concert next time."

The group then got talking about its future activities, "Our promotion in Korea will finish by having autograph events in Seoul and Daegu. We will start preparing for our Japan promotion, and also start shooting a movie."

Lastly, they added, "We will not be able to meet you often like we do when we're in Korea, so will consistently update you all through our fan cafe and social media."

Tickets for Psy’s solo concert sell like hot cakes

Tickets for Psy's upcoming solo concert went on sale at noon on March 11 and as many as 10,000 spots were sold in just 30 minutes.

The concert titled 'Happening' will be held at World Cup Stadium in western Seoul on April 13 and will be broadcast globally via YouTube for foreign fans. Psy is drawing further attention with plans to release a new single one day before his concert.

The singer's "Gangnam Style" swept music charts around the world last year, but it remains to be seen if his new song will continue the craze.

Just in time for the White Day, the women of Korea have chosen which male celebrity they'd most like to receive sweets from on the romantic day.

A dental clinic carried out a survey towards 337 women in their teens and 20s about which male celebrities they would like to receive candy from on White Day. Lee Seung Gi topped the poll with 142 votes, followed by B2ST's Kikwang (97 votes) and Kim Soo Hyun (94 votes).

A representative stated, "Lee Seung Gi topped the survey for his righteous image and beautiful smile that the women like so much. There is no woman who would reject candy from a man with a beautiful smile on White Day."

Recently, MBC's upcoming drama 'Book of the House of Gu' revealed a video of its first script reading on its official homepage. Upon watching the video, netizens noticed Lee Yeon Hee's inattentive attitude towards the cast and crew.

Lee Yeon Hee did not greet other fellow actors and actresses when they introduced themselves to others and bowed. In addition to not clapping at the other cast, she also didn't seem to pay much attention when the PD himself offered his greeting.

On March 12th, maknae Zelo uploaded a photo on his Twitter and wrote, "B.A.P supports Korea's women's national football team!" The photo showed the members wearing their soccer uniforms and posing next to the mascots.

Dae Hyun also uploaded a photo of himself and tweeted, "Took a shot after after finishing our schedule today!! I support Korea's women's national football team."

After releasing series of teasers, rookie idol group M4M has finally unveiled the music video for debut track, "Sadness"!

M4M (Mystical Formula) is a collaboration project between Korea's Cube Entertainment and China's Xing Tian and will be debuting simultaneously in both countries with their debut title track, "Sadness".

The members of the group are said to have put together after passing rigorous audition rounds in China, Hong Kong and Taiwan. Cube Entertainment took charge in training the group for a total of 1,460 days.

After teasing fans with a PV teaser, MBLAQ has returned with a longer preview of the Japanese version of "Mona Lisa".

On March 13, MBLAQ released the 45-second PV of "Mona Lisa". Instead of using the original Korean version music video, MBLAQ filmed a completely new music video for the song.

Recently, in SBS's program, 'Thank you''s preview video, G-Dragon became a professional cook for comedian Kim Mi Hwa, ballerina Kang Soo Jun, and actor Cha In Pyo.

In this episode, they spent time at Jeju Island and enjoyed playing together. In particular, G-Dragon showed his new charm as a cook and fans anticipated it. He cooked 'Chapaguri', a new favorite dish of Korean with the mix of 'Chapagetti' and 'Neoguri'.

G-Dragon shared, "I have never cooked for anyone before. It's delicious so sometimes I made it by myself".

After tasting, Kim Mi Hwa showed her feeling "I was touched seeing G-Dragon cook for all of us".

Hyun Bin charms 3,000 fans at Taiwan fan meeting

Actor Hyun Bin, who was recently discharged from the military, has successfully met with his fans in Taiwan for the very first time.

The fan meeting was held on the night of March 9th at the National Taiwan University Gymnasium where 3,000 fans were in attendance. During the two-hour event, he sang for his fans and also had a chance to communicate with them in person.

Local media reported on his visit as a top story and the management also added that over 700 of his fans bid him farewell at the airport upon his departure. Many fans thronged departure hall to send Hyun Bin off on his flight back home to Seoul.

AOA’s Yuna to play lead in musical ‘Summer Snow’

AOA's keyboard and vocalist Yuna has been cast to play the lead female role in musical 'Summer Snow'. The musical is the Korean adaptation of the Japanese series of the same name, and will feature a number of Korean idol stars.

Yuna will play the role of Sul Hee, who suffers from a heart disease and lives only with her father. She is always positive and has a bright character. In the musical, Sul Hee will attract both male lead characters Jin Ha and Yoon Jae.

FT Island's Song Seung Hyun, Super Junior's Sungmin, and Supernova's Sungje will play the role of Jin Ha while Park Kwang Hyun and Heo Young Sang will be playing the role of Yoon Jae.

TVXQ sets a new record in Japan with ‘TIME’

The duo of TVXQ has set another record in Japan!

TVXQ has managed to top Japan's Oricon Weekly Album Chart with their latest album 'TIME'. The album managed to sell over 244,000 copies in its first week, setting a new record for the boys.

This marks the third time that TVXQ has managed to top the weekly album chart, following its compilation album 'Best Selection 2010' released in February 2010, and its studio album 'TONE' in September 2011. It also smashed TVXQ's personal record for the biggest first week sales.

According to Oricon News, it's the first time a foreign artist sold over 200,000 copies for 2 consecutive albums since Avril Lavigne achieved the feat five years and 11 months ago with 'Every Damn Thing'. For a foreign group, the only other time this occurred was 12 years and 10 months ago when Bon Jovi achieved it with 'Crush'.

Boys Republic has signed a modeling contract with Jeju Airlines, replacing Big Bang as their new models. The group will sing the airline's brand song and promote it as its online and offline model throughout Asia.
