Eye Candy: Satoori-dols

Posted: 28 Apr 2013 09:02 AM PDT

Following the last 'Eye Candy: Short &  Cute' selected by a few of our staff members, our 'Eye Candy' series continues with the satoori speaking idols!

Most of the idols speak in the Seoul dialect, but we know that doesn’t apply for everyone. If the idol grew up in an area such as Daegu or Busan, there’s a high chance they might have the same dialect and accent as their counterparts. Here are some of the famous Satoori-dols.

SHINee‘s Key - Daegu

2PM‘s Jun.K – Daegu

f(x)‘s Sulli – Busan

SECRET‘s Sunhwa – Busan

After School‘s Lizzy – Busan

2PM‘s Wooyoung – Busan

A Pink‘s Eunji – Busan

B.A.P‘s Daehyun – Busan

CNBLUE‘s Yonghwa – Busan

TVXQ‘s Yunho – Jeollado

Dal Shabet‘s Subin – Gwangju

B1A4 (also nicknamed satoori group)

Can you think of any more satoori-dols?

Posted: 28 Apr 2013 06:30 AM PDT

To support their idol, fans of the ‘ballad king’ and current ‘Book of the House of Gu‘ cast member Lee Seung Gi splurged by setting up a massive buffet to show their appreciation!

Lee Seung Gi’s official fan cafe, AIREN, showed up with a 40-item buffet that could feed approximately 200 people – more than enough for the entire ‘House of Gu’ staff and cast members.

“We’re happy and surprised that we were able to taste so many kinds of unusual food,” said the producer for the drama, approving the buffet selection. “Just like Lee Seung Gi, his fans show a level of caring that is unmatched. I wish every day could be like today.”

Perhaps due to this pick-me-up, ‘House of Gu’ is leading in its time slot with high ratings.

What bad habit makes Seo In Guk want to give up his loner life?

Posted: 28 Apr 2013 04:30 AM PDT

Seo In Guk previously revealed that he no longer wants to ‘live alone’ partly because of one particular bad habit.

On the April 26th broadcast of KBS 2TV‘s ‘Full House‘, the seemingly perfect bachelor Seo In Guk revealed, “There is something that my mother nagged at me for and told me to fix.”

The singer then shared his bad habit revealing, “I am currently on another program, but the inside of my house is not in good condition. One of my habits is that like a snake sheds its skin, I take off my clothes right there and then. Because I live so freely, I think I live in a dirty house.”

Lee Kyung Kyu responded, “In the case of habits like Seo In Guk’s, the correct terminology is not ‘take off clothes’, but ‘come out of clothes’. You come out of your clothes and go back inside of them the next morning”, giving his hilarious two cents on Seo In Guk’s bad habit.

Viewers commented, “So there was a reason why he said his house is not in good condition”, “I’m surprised at his bad habit”, and “He’ll just have to fix it like everyone else.”

‘We Got Married’ suffers a ratings drop despite new couple

Posted: 27 Apr 2013 07:15 PM PDT

Even the appearance of a brand-new couple couldn’t stop the recent downward slide for MBC‘s ‘We Got Married‘, which saw another precipitous drop in ratings for its latest episode.

According to AGB Nielson, ‘We Got Married’ recorded a nationwide rating of 6.0%, a drop of 0.3% from its previous week and a continuation of its recent trend of sliding viewership.

Although the newest episode saw the appearance of SHINee‘s Taemin and A Pink‘s Na Eun as the youngest-ever couple in the show’s history, they weren’t enough to stop the bleeding of viewers from the faux wedding variety program.

What should the show do to get higher ratings?
