On April 5th, Korean hit drama starring JYJ's Park Yoochun 'Rooftop Prince' DVD and blu-ray was released in Japan. The DVD contains the drama′s 20 episodes and also the behind-the-scenes videos and interviews with the actors.

Actor Lee Jong Suk has been chosen as the new endorsement model for Nongshim's steady-seller snack, 'Shrimp Crackers'.

To select the perfect model for the popular snack brand, Nongshim conducted a poll in a high school in Seoul asking female students who would fit in the image of Shrimp Crackers. The result came out to be Lee Jong suk, who recently showed off his fresh-charm in TV series, 'School 2013'.

The new Shrimp Crackers CF featuring Lee Jong Suk will be aired starting from April 13, and his off-screen videos will also be unveiled on the official Nongshim Youtube channel.

B.A.P adds one more show in Japan

Tickets to the U.S. tour concert of B.A.P were sold out within an hour after going on sale while their upcoming concert in Japan is selling like hotcakes as well. To thank their fans, the group added another show to its concert tour in Japan.

According to TS Entertainment, B.A.P was originally scheduled to hold their live concert, "B.A.P LIVE ON EARTH JAPAN" for one day only on May 24th. However, all 5,000 seats were immediately sold out. Due to the overwhelming response, an additional date on the 25th has been added to the tour.

As they added another tour in Japan, B.A.P will have about 11 concerts around Asia and the United States. They are now in the process of preparing for the concert.

Psy appointed ambassador for Asiana Airlines

World star Psy has been appointed as the honorary ambassador for Asiana Airlines.

Psy has signed a sponsorship deal with the nation's second-largest carrier at its office in Seoul on April 8th. Asiana Airlines will provide the singer free first-class tickets one year.

Yoon Yeong Doo, the representative of Asiana Airline said, "We are very happy to meet Psy again as the honorary ambassador after the event held celebrating 7 billion won reaching of 'Collecting Coins of Love in Airplane' in last October. We hope to contribute to spreading K-pop abroad through this sponsorship."

2PM concludes successful concert in Bangkok

2PM successfully concluded their 'What Time Is It?' tour in Nichkhun's home country of Thailand. On April 8th, the group performed at the Impact Arena in Bangkok in front of nearly 10,000 fans.

The 'beastly idols' left for Thailand on the 6th where they were welcomed by a giant crowd of fans at the airport. The boys then held a press conference on the 7th, with 80 media outlets and 150 press members covering the event.

At the concert, 2PM shared, "Thailand is 2PM Nichkhun's country and it is also special for us. We are always thankful for the big love that fans are giving us. We want to thank our Thai fans for helping us have such a great time."

Davichi clears up rumors of being ‘business duo’

Davichi, who is one of Korea's most beloved female duos, found themselves surrounded by rumors that they only have a "business relationship" and are not really close with each other.

The duo appeared as guests on SBS 'Challenge 1000 Songs' on April 7th. During the show, MC Lee Hwi Jae asked, "There is a rumor that you guys are just a business duo. The rumor says that your relationship is not that good. Is that true?"

Davichi's Kang Min Kyung and Lee Haeri strongly denied the claims and explained, "The rumor started roaming around since out debut. Our friendship is just fine, and we share everything."

Kang Min Kyung continued to prove their closeness by saying, I even have all sorts of classified photos of Lee Haeri in my cellphone." She gave some laugh by adding, "If my phone is ever hacked into, Haeri unnie will be in big trouble."

T-ara’s sub-unit confirms debut date

Core Contents Media recently announced that T-ara is set to make a comeback with a new unit group, and more details regarding the unit's have now been unveiled.

According to the agency on April 8th, T-ara's first unit group, consists of members Jiyeon, Eunjung, Hyomin, and Areum, will have their debut on May 1 with title song "Countryside Diaries". The song is based on MBC's long-running drama of the same name and is produced by Duble Sidekick.

The song will be a funky hip-hop dance number, and will appear different from their original T-ara image.

Younha releases “Greetings From Afar” for ‘God of the Workplace’ OST

Jay Park will soon be releasing his new single 'JOAH'. In support for his comeback, various Korean celebrities sent out shoutouts for the talented soloist.

On April 9, Sidus HQ revealed a special video full of stars and their message of support for Jay Park's upcoming release. The video features SNL Korea cast and other artists including Shin Dong Yup, Dynamic Duo, Tiger JK, Yoon Mirae, Bizzy, Kim Woo Bin and more.

'JOAH' will be released on April 10th.

Actress E. Ji Ah involved in car accident with police

It was reported that actress E. Ji Ah (Lee Ji Ah) has been involved in a minor car accident with a police car.

On April 8th, one Korean source reported that E. Ji Ah had consumed alcohol with friends and called a driver to take her home. On her way back home, the driver got into a car accident with a police car in the Nonhyeon-dong area of Seoul.

According to the report, the front bumper of the actress' Maserati sports car fell out, and even though the car was damaged, the actress escaped unhurt and no serious injuries were reported.

E. Ji Ah's agency stated, "This was a small accident that was a result of the driver's inexperience. She was surprised, but she didn't go to the hospital because she fortunately wasn't hurt."

Lee Hyori to feature rapper Beenzino in new album

Preparing for a comeback in three years, Lee Hyori will be collaborating with new and rising rapper, Beenzino, in her upcoming album.

Lee Hyori's agency, B2M Entertainment, announced on April 8 that rapper Beenzino will be featuring in Lee Hyori's new album, which will include dance songs, based off of hip-hop. Beenzino has been gaining recognition for featuring in the albums of many artists including Primary and K.Will. He is currently enrolled in the prestigious Seoul National University as a sculpture major.

Meanwhile, Lee Hyori is expected to make a comeback in May. This marks her first return since she last released "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang" back in April 2010. She will be filming at least 2 music videos for the songs in this album.

Super Junior's Kyuhyun and f(x)'s Luna will be releasing their first duet single as part of the soundtrack for the 3D animated film, 'The Croods Family'.

The two SM Entertainment artists will be lending their voices for the song titled, "Shine Your Way". The song, originally by Owl City, features beautiful and soft melodies, and will highlight the voices of the two vocalists of their respective groups.

"Shine Your Way" will be the official soundtrack for the movie 'The Croods Family', which will be released in theatres across South Korea on May 16th.

According to Hanteo Charts on April 8th, INFINITE's fourth mini album 'New Challenge' topped the weekly album chart for two consecutive weeks. In addition, the album's promotional single "Man in Love" also dominated various online charts as well as swept weekly music programs.

KARA’s Goo Hara to sing OST for Japanese drama with Fukuyama Masaharu

KARA's Goo Hara will be participating in a soundtrack for the Japanese drama 'Galileo 2' with famed actor and singer-songwriter, Fukuyama Masaharu.

DSP Media announced that Goo Hara will be teaming up with Fukuyama Masaharu to form the project group 'HARA+' and recreate a Korean version of drama's main theme song titled, "Love Spell".

According to the agency, Fukuyama Masaharu will be participating as a producer, and Goo Hara will be featuring as a vocalist. This is the first time Fukuyama Masaharu has collaborated with a foreign artist.

'Galileo 2' will premiere in Japan on April 15th and in Korea on May 6th.

B.A.P sells out upcoming U.S. tour in an hour

After holding a successful exclusive concert in Korea, B.A.P will be embarking on a world tour titled, 'B.A.P Live On Earth PACIFIC' and tickets for their U.S. leg of were all sold out in one hour.

B.A.P's management agency, TS Entertainment, announced that 10,000 tickets for 'B.A.P Live On Earth PACIFIC' which is a part of Verizon APAHM Tour in New York, Washington D.C., LA, and San Francisco were all sold out within an hour of sales being opened.

The tickets were opened at the same time through three different tickets sales websites, and the servers were frozen as the sales began. The VIP tickets were sold within five minutes and have now appeared on auction websites, with prices that are fourfold the original.

In addition, a great number of fans requested additional shows and change of venues, and it is said that the management team ended up opening holding tickets that they kept just in case.

Following Yisabel's "My Eden", Noel's Lee Sang Gon is the second artist to participate in the official soundtrack for MBC's new drama series, 'Gu Family Book'.

On April 9th, Lee Sang Gon released his OST single titled, "My Love Is Hurt". A music video for the song was released as well, featuring Lee Yeon Hee and Choi Jin Hyuk, who both made a special appearances on the series.

'Gu Family Book' which stars Lee Seung Gi and Suzy aired its first episode on April 8th.
