KBS said, “There was a point in the internal decisions that was wrong, so we are planning to reevaluate the MV again. There is no decided date on when the reevaluation will take place.”
Previously, KBS had deemed the MV unfit for broadcast. However, it was later revealed that only 3 evaluators were present at the evaluation proceeding, and therefore it was deemed an improper evaluation. KBS said, “Because of the flaw in the procedure, the decision [that Psy's MV was unsuitable for broadcast] is not validated. We don’t understand why they went so far to decide that the MV was unsuitable for broadcast.”
Another KBS representative explained, “There were a lot of staff asking about the MV, so 4 out of the 7 evaluators hurried to get together. However, 1 evaluator suffered a medical emergency and had to go to the hospital, so only 3 attended. All 3 present agreed that the MV was unsuitable for broadcast. However, even that one person who went to the hospital had entrusted his decision to the 3 left. When we checked again later, they decided to go along with the decision that it was unsuitable. No matter what the decision, since the procedure was against the rules, we will be reevaluating it soon.“

The 8th anniversary special will be similar to KBS‘s ‘Challenge Golden Bell‘, where the members will compete with each other on a quiz show. Of course, being ‘Infinity Challenge’, there’s a twist – the ones moving onto the next rounds will be the ones who are actually the worst at the quizzes.
There’ll be a total of around 50 idols who come out separately during the episode, and the special will be divided into 2 episodes.
Who else would you like to see on the special?

It’s the first time the pair had a dual photoshoot, and when they were told that the concept was ‘twins’, both of them were unsure if the concept would work. However, their worries quickly disappeared after the pair donned on similar hairstyles, accessories, and clothes in front of the camera.
Instead of the strong aura they usually have on stage, the two girls turned into cute siblings and never lost their smile around each other. The two also revealed, “As we prepared our new album, each member inputted their own ideas for hair, makeup, and even the clothing. We’re practicing over 6 hours a day for our comeback.”

Super Junior performed in front of 8,000 Brazilian fans at ‘Super Show 5‘ in Sao Paulo and reflected on the overwhelming fan response as well as the changes in the number of members, especially with Yesung‘s upcoming enlistment.
Q: “How was the fan response in Brazil?”
A: “It was crazy. They danced along and followed the choreography to each song. That is why we adjust our pace in the beginning, and we end up using up all of our strength. The fans don’t get tired, but we get tired instead so it’s frustrating.”
Q: “Why do you think the South American fans have a stronger response?”
A: “In the countries that we visit often, we expect to see more individual fans. But because South America is a place we don’t come too often and they like Super Junior as a group and like our songs, so the response is stronger.”
Q: “How does it feel to be the first idol group to hold a solo concert in Brazil?”
A: “When we first made our debut, we dreamed of becoming #1 in Asia, but as the scale grew bigger, we were amazed to see requests for us to perform coming in from half-way across the world. We are amazed that the name Super Junior can be listed in the pages of history and record books.”
Q: “It took 25 hours for you to travel to Brazil. How was the ride?”
A: “We previously traveled for thirty hours to arrive in Chile. To be honest, because of our experience going to Chile, we had fears about going to Brazil, but we formed our own know-how on how to get through it. We rode the plane comfortably this time.”
Q: “Do you have any concerns about the decrease in the number of members with some enlisting in the military?”
A: “It is true that we had a lot of concerns about the number of members. But while touring for ‘Super Show’, we formed our own individual know-how and our faith in our members grew. Now we think that there is no need to worry about the changing number of members. More than anything else, if one member enlists, we know another will come back. Until the last member enlists, we want to protect the brand of ‘Super Show’.”

Both ladies will be starring in the new SBS weekend drama ‘Secret of Birth‘, which had its press conference on the 24th at the Seoul Yangchungu SBS Mokdong Building. Sung Yuri said, “It’d be a lie if I said I wasn’t worried about starring with Lee Jin. Since the image of Fin.K.L is very strong, I was worried about how the viewers would see us. I hope people remember us not as the Fin.K.L members, but as mature characters. I think as we filmed together, we got less and less awkward.”
Lee Jin added, “We didn’t get the script at the same time, but we found out afterward. I worried a lot about how I’d come out when we appear together. At first, it was a little awkward,so we kept laughing. Maybe it’s because of the time we spent together before, but we work very well now.”
The drama will premiere on April 27th!

Woollim Entertainment stated, “L loves photography so much that the first thing he bought with his first paycheck as an INFINITE member was a camera. Recently, he has been getting close with professional photographers and is consistently studying photography. Actress Hwang Jung Eum, who recently starred in the SBS drama ‘Incarnation of Money‘, opened up about her days as part of the girl group Sugar, her 7-year relationship with boyfriend Kim Yong Joon, and how being in her thirties is awesome in an interview.
When asked how it feels to turn 30, Hwang Jung Eun shared, “I’m feeling good. Because my hard work until now paid off, I feel accomplished. My labor wasn’t in vain. I still have a long way to go, but all I need to do is keep running forward.”
“While I was promoting as a member of the group Sugar during my twenties, I felt a lot of regret. I grew up thinking I was the best, but Sugar didn’t work out and I entered a college that was lower in ranking then those of my friends. But if it wasn’t for that experience, I wouldn’t have become the person I am today. I think I understand now the saying that you should suffer when you’re young.”
“I struggled throughout the last ten years. My achievements are the result of overcoming those hardships and being criticized. Although I suffered a lot during my twenties, I feel good thinking that I will live more comfortably and happily during my thirties.”
“I love having conversations with my friends. I didn’t know how to relieve my stress back then, but now I figured it out.”
When asked how her 7-year relationship with her boyfriend, SG Wannabe‘s Kim Yong Joon, is going, she revealed, “When I’m done with work, I meet up with him. He has been working out a lot these days, so he lost a lot of weight and is living an upright lifestyle.”

According to AGB Nielsen Media Research, the April 24th broadcast of ‘When A Man Loves’ scored a 10.5% viewer rating, which was a 0.8% increase from its viewer rating of 9.7% last week, but it still was enough for the drama to grab the #1 spot in its time slot once again.
Meanwhile, the April 24th premiere of KBS 2TV‘s ‘Mandate of Heaven‘ kicked off to a good start with a strong 9.3% viewer rating, which was a 1.1% decrease from the viewer ratings for the finale of its predecessor ‘IRIS 2‘.
‘When A Man Loves’ centers around the secret affair of Han Tae Sang (Song Seung Hun) and Seo Mi Do (Shin Se Kyung), and it’s been keeping fans on the edge of their seats as a love triangle unfolds. ‘Mandate of Heaven’ is also receiving praise as a well-made historical drama, which features the story of Choi Won (Lee Dong Wook) who becomes a fugitive on the run and tries to save his daughter from an illness.
