JYJ performed in Tokyo Dome for the first time in four years, their three-day concerts were sold out immediately. '2013 JYJ Concert in Tokyo Dome: The Return of the JYJ' concert was held from April 2nd to 4th. December's DK has announced that he will be enlisting into the army next month.
The December member will be entering the military to serve his mandatory 2-year service this May 7th at the training facility in Uijungbu. He will undergo five weeks of basic training before serving out the required 21 months as an active duty soldier.
His other half, fellow December member Yoon Hyuk, previously enlisted into the army back in January as a public service worker.

Actress Lee Da Hae prepared special gifts for the staffs of KBS 2TV drama 'IRIS 2' to show her appreciation for their work.
Lee Da Hae personally handed out rice cakes to the staffs to a place where the drama was shooting. It was to thank all the staffs who are working so hard in a cold weather. In each rice cake box was a short note written by the actress herself that reads, "Good job everyone".
According to Lee Da Hae's management label, "It's been half a year since we started working on this drama. The cold winter was harsh and Lee Da Hae wanted to show the staff that she appreciated all their hard work."

Five first generation idols will be reuniting for a new variety show on QTV, 'Handsome Boys of the 20th Century'.
Recently, a production press conference of new variety show 'Handsome Boys of the 20th Century' was held at the COEX MEGABOX, Seoul. The show will be starring H.O.T's Moon Hee Jun and Tony An, NRG's Chun Myung Hoon, Sechkies's Eun Ji Won and g.o.d's Danny Ahn.
In the show, the five first generation idols will reveal their special memories as the legendary teen stars. The first episode will be aired on April 16th at 9:50pm KST on QTV.

Dal Shabet members Serri, Woohee and Subin transformed back into three beautiful trainees.
On the April 7th episode of tvN's 'Roller Coaster 3 - I am M', the three Dal Shabet members appeared as three trainees who are getting prepared to debut as singers.
The girls appeared as three senior trainees and started giving hard time to the youngest trainee Sang Eun (Park Sang Eun) who enters the agency after a street casting. Serri, Woohee and Subin showed a comic competition against Sang Eun, and impressed the viewers with their great acting.
Meanwhile, Dal Shabet's Ahyoung is currently casting in new SBS drama 'Jang Ok Jung Lives For Love', which premiered on April 8th.

Initially scheduled to be released exclusively on Korean music sites first, Psy has revealed that his next single "Gentleman" will be available for everyone worldwide.
According to YG Entertainment, Psy will release a follow-up to his massive global hit "Gangnam Style" in 119 countries around the globe on April 12th. A new poster announcing the grand release of Psy's "Gentleman" has been also released on its official blog.
The K-pop sensation originally planned to unveil "Gentleman" through online music websites in his home country on the 12th and then release it on the world market the next day. However, due to questions flooding in from overseas fans, the agency has decided to reveal it at the same time for everyone to enjoy.
The music video for the song is also gaining much attention for featuring the cast of MBC's 'Infinity Challenge' and Brown Eyed Girls' Ga In. After this worldwide release, Psy will hold his 'HAPPENING' concert on April 13 on April 13th at the Seol World Cup Stadium.

A number of popular Hallyu groups will soon be meeting their fans from South America!
Chile will be hosting the large-scale 'I Love K-Pop with Friends' festival and will feature popular groups including U-Kiss, Davichi, ZE:A, After School as well as RaNia, Double A and Sunny Hill. The event will be held on May 19th in Santiago's largest dome, the Movistar Arena with capacity of 16,000 seats.
Chilean festival 'I Love K-Pop with Friends' will also take place in other South American countries with schedules shows in Mexico in August, Peru in September, as well as in Uruguay and Brazil this coming October and November.

INFINITE, who is currently captivating the local fans with "Man In Love", will soon be making a Japanese comeback with their first studio album, a year and a half after the group first made its debut in the country.
According to INFINITE's official Japanese website on April 10th, the group will release their first Japanese studio album on June 5, 2013. In addition to the three previously released singles "BTD (Before the Dawn)", "Be Mine" and "She's Back", the album will include new Japanese tracks.

Actor Joo Won will perform in a musical, breaking a four-year hiatus since "Spring Awakening" in 2009. The actor is making his comeback with musical 'Ghost'.
Produced by Synthy company, 'Ghost' has finalized its 26 cast members after a two-week audition period in January. The musical, which was first aired at England West end in 2011, is about a beautiful drama combined with fantastical stage mechanisms, including magical cutting-edge videos and magic.
Joo Won will play the main character Sam Wheat, played by Patrick Swayze in the film. Singer Ivy and Park Ji Yeon will play his counterpart, Molly Jensen, played by Demi Moore in the original. The musical will premiere on the 11th.

The stage is all set for the '2013 Dream Concert' and they have just released the lineup for this highly-anticipated event!
The 'Dream Concert' is an annual event in South Korea and is consistently one of the bigger concerts in Korea, featuring some K-Pop's most famous idols. This year's event marks the 19th annual "Dream Concert" and will feature 21 artists in its roster.
Artists who have been confirmed to participate include SISTAR, BEAST, SHINee, INFINITE, 2AM, U-KISS, ZE:A, 4minute, T-ara, SECRET, EXO, B1A4, Rainbow, Huh Gak, Girl's Day, SPEED, BTOB, EvoL and VIXX.

T-ara is set to make a comeback with a new unit group and the first teaser image featuring Jiyeon has been unveiled.
On April 10, Core Contents Media revealed Jiyeon's teaser image with platinum blonde bangs and hip hop style accessories, giving a first look to the unit's concept.
T-ara's first unit group, consists of members Jiyeon, Eunjung, Hyomin, and Areum, will have their debut on May 1 with title song "Countryside Diaries". The song is based on MBC's long-running drama of the same name and is produced by Duble Sidekick.

On April 9, YG Entertainment revealed that Lee Hi, who just made her debut 5 months ago, has been chosen as CF model for LG Electronics' main smartphone model, 'Optimus G PRO.' She will also participate in 'G PRO SONG' music project with comedian Park Myung Soo and singer Kim Bum Soo.
Park Myung Soo, who recently became recognized as a producer, arranged the commercial song of 'Optimus G PRO', making it into three different versions; each version will be sung by the three musicians.

INFINITE will soon be representing Korea on the special 'K-pop Day' in Japan
According to the group's agency, Woollim Entertainment, INFINITE will attend the event held on K-Pop Day at the Fukuoka Dome, home stadium to the Japanese baseball team Fukuoka Softbank Hawks, on April 14th.
The group will perform as the representative K-pop idol group at the opening ceremony of the baseball game between Softbank Hawks and Chiba Lotte.

FT Island's first mini album 'Jump Up', which was released in 2009, rises to the top of Taiwanese music chart.
According to Taiwanese music site Omusic, 'Jump Up' managed to rank #1 on the Korea-Japanese Album Daily Broadcast Ranking for April 9. In addition, the album's title song, "Bad Woman" also topped on the Song Daily download chart.

Released on April 10th, just in time to celebrate the group's first year anniversary, "Second Confession" is a love song about a man's feelings for his past girlfriend. The song features soft, relaxing melodies, which match well with the spring season.
