On May 6, it has been reported that 4minute's Hyuna was sent to University General Hospital after collapsing due to a high fever.
A representative from Cube Entertainment said, "Hyuna showed symptoms of a high fever and dehydration and eventually fainted due to exhaustion. She was immediately taken to the closest General Hospital for treatment." All the members of 4minute were also taken to the hospital for health check.
The doctor revealed, "Hyuna fainted due to overwork. We're still waiting for the results of the thorough medical examination."
4minute is currently promoting their new single "What's Your Name?" and the tight schedule made her exhausted. 4minute's future scheduled activities will depend on Hyuna's recover.

On May 05th, Secret's main vocal Song Jieun uploaded a photo on her twitter account to show her appreciation to her birthday presents from fans.
Jieun wrote 'People in the company teased me if I am having my first birthday. Thank you, even though I am not perfect but thank you for letting me have such a nice birthday."

Actor Kim Bum has been cast in a new drama with Moon Geun Young.
On May 6th, King Kong Entertainment announced that Kim Bum will be joining the new MBC Monday/Tuesday drama, 'Goddess of Fire, Jeongi'. He will take on the role of an innocent lover who would even put out his life for the woman he loves.
Kim Bum will play Kim Taedo, who is generous and outstanding in visual and martial arts. He is the childhood friend of Jeongi, played by Moon Geun Young.
The drama will follow up 'Gu Family Book' in July.

Psy, who currently receiving much attention with "Gentleman", revealed that he plans to launch his next album as soon as this summer.
On May 5th, Psy had an online interview through 'Saturday Night Online Live with Romeo', and talked about plan for his new album. He shared, "After 'Gentleman' promotions, I'm planning to release a new album this summer."
He continued, "A great number of musicians will be participating in the album, and when I think of someone after listening to the tracks, I will be working with them."
When asked to pick his personal favorite track from his work, he selected "It's Art" from his fifth album. Psy explained, "Even though it is not a 'Psy-like' song, but the emotional lyrics, melodies, and strong beats make a great match."

The queen of K-Pop Lee Hyori has scored success with her preview track "Miss Korea", galloping to the of major online music charts.
Lee Hyori released "Miss Korea", a song off of her upcoming comeback fifth album, on May 6th at 12PM KST and it immediately achieved an all-kill on several music websites, including Mnet, Bugs, Melon, Monkey3, Olleh Music, Naver Music and more.
The song is written and composed by Lee Hyori herself and features catchy chorus. It also contains a strong message of hope for every woman in this era as calling them, including herself, Miss Korea.
Meanwhile, Lee Hyori will officially release the full 5th album on May 21st.

Two new teaser videos and official drama poster for tvN's upcoming drama series 'Dating Agency: Cyrano' were revealed!
'Dating Agency: Cyrano' is a 16-episode drama based off of the webtoon, 'Cyrano Agency', and is a prequel to the original 'Cyrano: Dating Agency' movie starring Uhm Tae Woong and Lee Min Jung. It is centered around a "Dating Agency" that helps people with love problems.
The two teaser videos comically show a number of mistakes that people who got into a relationship for the first time often make. In addition, the official drama poster that shows the 'operation' features the cast members including Lee Jong Hyuk, Hong Jong Hyun, Cho Yoon Woon, Lee Chun Hee and Girls Generation's Sooyoung.
'Dating Agency: Cyrano' is set to begin airing on May 27th.

FT Island announced earlier that they will be releasing their third Japanese full length album 'RATED-FT' this coming June. The group unveiled more details regarding their upcoming release.
'RATED-FT' will hit stores on June 5th, over a year since releasing their previous Japanese album, '20[Twenty].' The song will contain eleven singles including "TOP SECRET," "Beautiful World," "Beloved," "Hold My Hand" and "Time To."
Two of the songs will be composed by FT Island's vocalist Lee Hongki, including "Orange Sky" which has been chosen as the ending theme song for Japanese film 'Rockin' on Heaven's Door'. The album will be available in three different versions including two limited CD+DVD types, as well as a CD-only version.

Male group N:SONIC will be making their long-awaited comeback to the music scene with their upcoming new single, "Lie".
On May 6th, the group signaled their return by releasing new video teaser for the single, which will be released on the 10th. The song is produced by new songwriter team, One Punch, and the music video will be directed by director Lee Joong Won.

Nega Network will soon be debuting a male counterpart of the veteran girl group Brown Eyed Girls called 'LC9', which was widely known as the Brown Eyed Boys. After revealing individual member teasers since April 26, the group has now unveiled its first video teaser for debut track, "MaMa Beat".
Released on the group's official Youtube channel, the music video teaser for "MaMa Beat" features the LC9 members in a street, hip hop concept. The boys are playfully fighting each other with their seemingly superhuman-like powers.
Brown Eyed Girls' Ga In is said to be helping out with the album of the Nega Network's upcoming boy group, who will be featuring in the song "MaMa Beat". LC9's debut mini album will contain four songs and will be released on May 9th.
LC9, which stands for "League of Competition #9", is a six-member male idol group that has been undergoing training under the agency. The group consists of members J-Hyo, RASA, King, AO, Jun and E.Den.

Singer Baek Ji Young successfully held her first live showcase 'BZY PREMIUM NIGHT' in Akasaka Blitz in Tokyo, Japan to celebrate her Japanese debut
The showcase was attended by 800 Japanese fans, as well as reporters from 50 different local TV broadcast stations, magazines and newspapers. The event ran for about 1 hour and 20 minutes and Baek Ji Young impressed the crowd with her perfect performance.
She sang 10 songs including her Japanese debut song "Sono Onna" which is the Japanese version of "That woman", the title song of TV drama "Secret Garden".
In an interview prior to the live concert, Baek Ji Young said, "I've liked Japanese artists since my middle school days, including Tube, Anzen Chitai and X-Japan. I am glad to perform in Japan. I'd like to give a concert at the Tokyo Dome in the future."

Former member of K-pop boyband U-Kiss, Alexander, will be casting in a Singaporean film.
The singer's agency announced on May 2 that Alexander has been cast in Singaporean film '3 Peas in a Pod' with popular Taiwanese stars including Calvin Chen of Fahrenheit.
'3 Peas in a Pod' will tell the story of 3 Asian students in Australia. The S$1.7million movie will be directed by Michelle Chong and will be released in many different countries in Asia this year.
Alexander will play the role of wealthy family's son, who dreams to break through his oppressed life, and achieve a freedom. It is said that he went through intense acting and physical trainings for the film.
A representative stated, "Alexander has amazing talent as an entertainer, intelligence, and a handsome look. He will fully show his potential through the film, and we will give all of our supports to help him to build a better and better career."

2PM has replaced themselves at the top spot of Japan's Tower Records pre-order chart with their upcoming Korean comeback album.
The group's agency, JYP Entertainment, announced that 2PM's new Korean album 'GROWN' topped in Japan's Tower Records Pre-order Chart. The album replaced their new Japanese single 'Give Me Love', which was topping in the same chart as well.
With this, 2PM was ranked 1st, 2nd, 5th and 6th in Tower Records Pre-order Chart, and further confirmed their colossal popularity in the country once again.

Actress Yoo In Na revealed that she trained for 11 years under YG Entertainment.
During the KBS talk show 'Happy Together 3' which aired on May 2, Yoo In Na shared she started her training at age 17 at YG Entertainment. "It was for about eleven years," she added.
"During trainee years, there are in-house auditions. When that happens, the trainees are at risk of being cut. Trainees fall into chaos as some friends lose their position as a trainee at the agency after those auditions."
Yoo In Na added, "Seeing my longtime friends and trainees walk away or get sent away was extremely difficult. I got down on myself many times. But opportunities come at miraculous times and that's how I could continue the life as a trainee."

Known for its vague teasers, YG Entertainment is piquing everyone's curiousity by unveiling new mysterious teaser!
On May 6th, YG Entertainment updated its Twitter account with short message, "Who's Next?", revealing a new teaser image with names of the label's popular artists printed on it. It also includes the date "2013.05.28" hinting at an artist's release on May 28th.
It is still unclear which artists under YG Entertainment may be making a comeback or debut, but all will be announced at a later date.

Actress Ha Ji Won chose Song Joong Ki and Big Bang's T.O.P as the actors that she would like to work with.
The May 3rd installment of SBS' 'Thank You' featured Ha Ji Won, Lee Moon Sae, Seo Hee Tae and Cha In Pyo's trip to South Yangju. During the show, Ha Ji Won was asked if there were any actors she's been wanting to work with.
The actress answered, "I like actors who are younger than me." She continued, "I'm a fan of Song Joong Ki because I think he is a great actor. I also really like Big Bang's T.O.P."

Super Junior's Yesung bid his fans goodbye on his twitter page the day before leaving for the military.
On May 5th, Yesung posted on his Twitter, "I will miss it all. Stages, songs… I look forward the day we meet again, ELF. No worries, love you all!", and attached the above photo.
Yesung is leaving for the army today, May 6th. He will enter through the army division located in Jeonju and receive basic training for four weeks before serving as a public service worker for 23 months.
His final stage performance before enlistment was on March 24 for Super Junior's "Super Show 5" performance in Seoul.

The "beastly idol" 2PM is finally making a grand return to the local music scene with the release of their latest album 'GROWN' featuring the two title songs, "Comeback When You Hear This Song" and "All Day I Think of You". This will be 2PM's 3rd studio album after a 2 year hiatus and has thus drawn much attention from fans.
Released on May 6th, the new tracks are filled with the manly and mature transformation of the 2PM members. In addition, it was revealed that the 2PM members had personally taken to producing the album songs.
Lee Junho was revealed to have participated in the production of "Back to Square One", "Go Back", and "Love Song". Jun.K produced the songs "Game Over" and "Suddenly". Chansung wrote the lyrics for "Coming Down", while Taecyeon produced the rapping portion for "All Day I Think of You", "I'm Sorry", "Comeback When You Hear This Song", "Just for Today", "Coming Down" and "Go Back".
