On May 13, he attended the press conference for his upcoming drama, ‘Monstar‘ at the 63 Convention Center in Yeouido. At the press conference, he was asked how he was doing after his break-up with Hara. He answered, “It didn’t affect me filming for the drama in any way. I think you just do what you have to do. As was said in the press release, we just decided to stay friends. I recently saw her at ‘Dream Concert‘, and we got along fine. I hope you don’t think that I’m having a hard time.”
The pair started dating publicly in June 2011, but broke up around 2 months ago. But even if their relationship didn’t work out in the end, the pair still paved a big road for other idols who might want to go public with their relationship.

To celebrate the release of their physical album, the boys released 6 individual posters as well. The posters are from the same theme of “Come Back When You Hear This Song“, with the boys staring forlornly out into the city as they stand on the roof of a building. They’re decked out in suits again, and show just how classy men can get.
Junho, Jun.K, Taecyeon, and Chansung all participated in the album as songwriters, rap-writers, and composers. The album shows just how much they’ve grown not only as men, but also in their music. JYP Entertainment said, “The album that was released on the 13th have their mature images, like the title song. Please show a lot of love.”
The boys will finally have their comeback comeback on ‘M! Countdown‘ this week, so stay tuned!
Which poster is your favorite?

Last week, we reported that Chris Brown sent a love call to T-ara N4, and recently they were spotted on his MV set. Now, Core Contents Media has finally revealed photos showing the first meeting between the girls and Chris Brown.
The girls had arrived to Los Angeles on May 12, where Chris Brown sent 18 bodyguards to escort them to the hotel. Afterwards, the girls headed to a set where he was filming a CF. When he saw them, he smiled and said, “I’ve wanted to meet you“, and the members of T-ara N4 were also thrilled, thanking him and saying, “Thank you for liking our music, inviting us to the United States and even sending out a limousine and bodyguards.”
The girls will be returning to Korea on either Thursday or Friday (May 16 or 17) after they have additional meetings with people in the music industry during their brief stay in Los Angeles. As they also have plans to meet with others in the music industry – do you think we could see an American debut soon for the girls?

VIXX won over fans with their literal beastly image for “On and On“, and now they’re back again with yet another beastly image!
The boys had announced that they’d be having a comeback with their first anniversary party, and released their teaser for their upcoming first mini album ‘HYDE‘ where they’re all donned with dark, black-feathered wings. To provide additional eye candy, the boys took off their shirts for fans to see their chiseled abs.
‘HYDE’ includes 6 songs, one of which is an instrumental:

The song is the duo’s self-composed song, and in addition to the sibling duo and Lee Hyun Woo work together for the MV. This is a special treat for Lee Soo Hyun since she chose him as her favorite actor!
In fact, Lee Soo Hyun and Lee Hyun Woo shyly flirt throughout the music video with Lee Chan Hyuk caught in the middle.
Watch Lee Chan Hyuk try, and fail, to separate the two love birds in the music video below!

The most recent episode of ‘Infinity Challenge‘ attempted to challenge (ha!) the weighty topic of the Korean independence movement.
After getting occupied by Japanese troops in the early 20th century, the Korean peninsula went through a period of colonization, spurring independence movements and figures such as Ahn Joong Geun, who assassinated Ito Hirobumi, the first prime minister of Japan. The cast member of ‘Infinity Challenge’ spent some time educating their guests for the day – a gaggle of idol groups such as SECRET, INFINITE, and others – on the importance behind the independence movement.
As the lecturer for the ‘class’, Yoo Jae Suk read out loud a letter from Ahn Joong Geun’s mother, written to him after he had told her of his plans. “If you believe that dying earlier than your mother is wrong, I will become a laughingstock. Your death is not only for you, but for the entire nation of Chosun. Die for your country without second thoughts,” she had written. “It is a consequence of doing the correct thing, so don’t try and save your life; dying is the greatest form of fealty for your mother.”
“This is probably the last letter I will write to you. I don’t expect to see you again in this life, so come see me in the next world as the son of the Father,” she wrote.
An excerpt from his will was also read aloud. “Even after I go to heaven, I will dedicate my efforts, as always, to the restoration of our country. When the sounds of Korea’s independence rings in heaven, I will dance and cheer in joy.”
For the idols in attendance – who often sacrifice schooling for practice and other activities – as well for the viewers watching at home and abroad, it was definitely a learning and enlightening experience.
Portions of the broadcast have already been subbed and can be viewed below:

As Shinhwa's comeback date rolls closer, the group is slowly revealing the secrets behind ‘The Classic‘.
The members of this long running group will be returning with their 11th album 'The Classic', and they’re pulling out all the stops by bringing director Cho Soo Hyun, who worked on "Gangnam Style" as well as Shinhwa’s very own "Once in a Lifetime" back in 2006.
Their latest update is the behind-the-scenes video of the album jacket photo shoot. As expected, there are plenty of laughs and silliness in the making-of video.
Watch the Shinhwa shenanigans below as we await their return on the 16th:

Now, even more names are faded out leaving just 2NE1 and CL. Considering that it has been well over a year since the release of 2NE1′s last album, fans are more than eager to hear new music from their idols. It looks like regardless of who is actually next, Blackjacks will be happy campers.
YG Entertainment stated, “Starting from the 28th to the end of this year, a lot of YGE artists plan to make their comebacks. As 28th is the starting date, CEO Yang Hyun Suk and the agency artists and staff are preparing hard for it.”
Will CL be releasing a lead single or mini-album as a prelude to a 2NE1 comeback? Will 2NE1 release a new album and then follow-up with Cl’s solo promotions? Only Yang Hyun Suk knows the answer, but we’d love to know what you think will happen on May 28th.

The comeback show aired on MBC on the 12th, showing the boys working hard for their comeback and their concert. During the process, Junho wanted to learn acrobatics, but he had injured himself badly while practicing! He confessed, “I wanted to learn acrobatics, so I worked really hard. There was a time I fell directly onto my head from 2 meters (approximately 6.6 feet) and lost consciousness for about 2 minutes.”
His injury was severe, and he revealed, “Everyone was worried because they thought I might not be able to dance. I landed on my left arm, and the cartilage tore. Recently, we had the rehearsal for the Shanghai concert, but I couldn’t stand. I went to the hospital and found out I had a spinal fracture.”
But being the hardworking Junho, he didn’t even consider dropping out from the concert – he stayed on the wheelchair only backstage, pushed himself onto his feet for the stage. He said, “I had a concert the next day. I had no choice, so I was on a wheelchair until right before the stage. I wrapped my waist and I could only stand as I sang.”
When asked, “Have you thought about giving up dancing?“, he answered, “If I give up dancing, I have to give up this career. I always thought about how not to get hurt and how to be good. But I always enjoyed myself, so I don’t want to stop. Right now, I’ve healed a lot, but right now I still have to get therapy. To be honest, if I start doing intense moves, my shoulder can still be stressed.”
Hopefully, Junho will have healed up for their upcoming comeback stages!

Not only is her singing on point, but she also deftly plays the cups, with requisite claps, taps and flips for a great rendition of the song.

ATTACK debuted last year, and consists of members Jiyoung, Sunghwan, Jonghoon, A, and Changwoo. ATTACK includes two former KINO members (Jonghoon, Sunghwan) as well as former SOS members (Jiyoung, Changwoo).
The song is a mid-tempo ballad about lost love, of course. The MV shows off some slick choreography as well as more than a few broken hearts.
Is the song and video what you expected?

Swings and Seo In Guk have joined together for a spectacular new release featuring a NS Yoon-G, who even put on a cast for her scenes as the love interest. “Would You?” is a groovy R&B-inspired track that is sure to have heads bobbing and toes tapping.
Digipedi directed of the music video. Digital Pedicure aka Digipedi for short is a two-person team that are responsible for some great K-pop videos including: Busker Busker’s Cherry Blossom Ending, SHINee‘s “Dream Girl“, and John Park‘s “Falling“.
