Shinhwa gifted their beloved hoobaes with the special versions of their 11th album ‘The Classic‘!
Girls’ Generation, 2PM, and Nine Muses all experienced the love backstage for the 700th episode special of KBS 2TV‘s Music Bank, and they were all smiles as they took photos together with the legendary group.
Girls’ Generation did the trademark ‘We are Shinhwa!’ pose as they held up their copies of the album with their Shinhwa sunbaes. The groups are close because many of the girls were young trainees while Shinhwa was still under SM Entertainment.
Nine Muses also got a copy of the special album and they showed it off on their Twitter, writing, “We met the Shinhwa sunbaenims who came back with their 11th album ‘The Classic’! ‘This Love’ is so good! Nine Muses will work hard to become a long-lasting group like sunbaenims! Fighting!“.

Jiyeon is on the chopping block yet again for her conflicting statements.
Back on May 13, the four members of T-ara N4 were guests on Mnet‘s ‘Beatles Code 2‘, and the girls received attention as they talked about their first kisses. On the episode, Jiyeon had shared, "I had my first kiss in my third year of junior high. I don’t remember well but I think he was an oppa."
However netizens have dug up a past statement from Jiyeon which conflicted with what she stated on Beatles Code. Back in May 2010, she appeared on ‘Strong Heart‘ and stated, “I shared my very first kiss with Yoo Seung Ho, my ideal type.” She shared a kiss with Yoo Seung Ho for a scene in the music video for the ironically titled, “Lies“. Jiyeon also revealed on the same show, “I was embarrassed during the kiss scene because Yoo Seung Ho’s face was right in front of mine. I was going to just pretend, but we did it for real because the director demanded it. It was the first kiss of my life. I really enjoyed it.”
Some netizens who discovered this stated, “You’re not even that old. How can you not remember who your first kiss was with?“, “At a time like this, she should’ve been more careful“, and “Is anything she says the truth?“. Others came to Jiyeon’s defense and said, “It’s not strange for someone to not remember clearly“, and “She probably just got mixed up, she did say she didn’t remember well“.

On the upcoming episode, viewers will be able to see the couple enjoy their romantic vacation on Jeju Island as they have fun at the airport, beach, and hotel resort. Taecyeon and Gui Gui made fans jealous with their newlywed vibe as they cuddled up for a little PDA, wrote messages in the sand, and took tons of couple photos.
Taecyeon reflected on his time with Gui Gui, sharing, “The ocean, sand, and clouds in the sky were so beautiful as you can see in the photo. Gui Gui and I were also in the photo, and we were also very pretty.” Gui Gui commented, “It feels like we’ve grown from being friends to being a married couple.”
It definitely seems like the two have warmed up to each other. Watch what goes on during their honeymoon on the 19th at 11:30 PM KST!

The members of INFINITE received the mission, “Fool Sunggyu and surprise him.” They then arrived at a penthouse, where they put their heads together in order to pull a hidden camera prank on their group’s leader. Sunggyu had no clue that his members were in the other room and had to guess who the mystery guests were.
Once Sunggyu was filled in on the prank, he shared, “There is no one I can trust in this world.” The others then eased up on Sunggyu and surprised him with a birthday cake, showing that they really do care.

On the upcoming episode of Life N‘s ‘Ruby Slipper‘, Brian entered a coffee shop and noticed the many autographed mugs, sharing, “[The coffee shop] must have a lot of celebrity visitors.”
When he discovered Choi Ji Woo’s signature on a cup, Brian shared, “Choi Ji Woo is totally my ideal type. I’ve been a fan of her since high school.” When Kim Jun Hee joked, “We’re also celebrities, so why are you being like this. It makes me embarrassed.” Her comment didn’t seem to faze Brian, and he proposed to Choi Ji Woo right at that moment, saying to the camera, “What does it matter. She is my ideal type. Ji Woo, I will wait for you at the coffee shop. Let’s get married.”
Brian has been a busy bachelor with the launch of his own entertainment agency, B You Entertainment.
Let’s hope Choi Ji Woo is watching when Brian’s full proposal airs on the 17th at 11 PM KST!

As a singer-turned-actor herself, Uhm Jung Hwa shared in an interview, “Early in my career, there were few people who were both singers and actors. Because I might get the response ‘Why is a singer acting?’, I purposely tried to be different. When I stood on stage as a singer, I would put on heavy makeup, wear a wig, or contact lenses. I intentionally tried to overdo it. But nowadays, it seems like the public readily accepts singers who also act.”
“Singers have a good foundation in expressing their emotions, so I think they also act well. There are a lot of singers in the entertainment industry who can act. Expressing emotions is important when acting, and in Suzy’s case, her portrayal of emotions is good. She naturally acts well. I also like Seo In Guk because he can act.”
Suzy is currently starring in the #1 Monday-Tuesday MBC drama ‘Book of the House of Gu‘, and Seo In Guk previously made a name for himself as an actor in the hit drama ‘Reply 1997‘.

Lee Seung Gi really does deserves every compliment he gets!
For Teacher’s Day in Korea, he wasn’t able to go to class because he was busy filming ‘Book of the House of Gu‘, which is currently the top drama in its time slot. So instead, he gifted the 50-60 Masters/Doctorates students and professors at the Dongguk University Culture Contents Graduate School a feast at a restaurant.
The school was delighted and said, “We didn’t have a separate event for Teacher’s Day at school, but we had our first event in years thanks to Lee Seung Gi. He prepared the highest quality food, and the manager stayed until the last person left and took care of everything.”
This really is how top stars should be!

The singer filmed KBS 2TV‘s ‘Mamma Mia‘ with her mother recently, and her mom revealed that Juniel had performed with Yoo Jae Suk when she was just 6 years old. The two collaborated at singer Kim Kyung Ho‘s fan club ceremony, and she was the youngest person present at the event.
Yoo Jae Suk was the host, and he went along with Juniel, headbanging as she sang. Even though it was 15 years ago, his hosting skills weren’t any different, and he demanded that Kim Kyung Ho kiss Juniel’s cheek.

Shinhwa revealed the secret to keeping their smiles during group photo shoots.
The six members were guests on ‘Happy Together 3‘, and the topic of pranks came up. The conversation took a rather strange turn when Junjin revealed, “We have a lot of albums, so we do a lot of album jacket filming. It’s easy to look charismatic, but it’s hard to smile when nothing’s funny.”
Well, what’s a group to do when they have to smile? Junjin had the perfect solution: “If you could see our backs, all of our hands are groping each other’s butts.” The members very kindly demonstrated, and Andy added, “So if you see all our pictures, you’d expect us to have our hands in the front and have them comfortable. But everyone has at least one hand missing.”
I guess that’s why you can only see one hand per member in this picture?

Choi Kang Hee confessed that at one point she lacked so much confidence in her acting that she wanted to leave the industry altogether.
She was a guest on MBC FM4U‘s ‘FM Music City It’s Sung Si Kyung‘ on the 15th, and Sung Si Kyung asked her about how she controlled her emotions because he’d heard that it was hard as an actor to keep shifting emotions constantly.
Choi Kang Hee answered, “When it’s hard, it’s so bad you can’t even put it into words. I feel like I’m gone, but when I can’t even focus on the character, I feel so tired I think I’m going crazy. But acting is really fun.”
He then asked her, “What do you think you would have done if you didn’t act?” Choi Kang Hee had quite a unique answer: “To be honest, I thought about giving up acting once. I thought that I was a bad actress, so I was tired of myself. I thought about what to do, and realized I didn’t know how to do anything. Since my face was already known, I thought about going to sell scarves overseas, and then realized I couldn’t speak English. Then I thought about becoming like a seeing-eye dog and guiding the blind.”
Thankfully, she decided to stick with it in the end. She’s currently playing the role of Kang Mi Na, the main character of the movie ‘Mina Corner Store‘ that premiered on the 16th.
