Shinhwa to continue Asia tour starting in Hong Kong

After the sucessful promotions for This Love, which earned eight trophies from music program, the longest-running idol group Shinhwa will be embarking on its '2013 Shinhwa Grand Tour: The Classic' beginning with Hong Kong.

Tomorrow on the 8th, Shinhwa is holding '2013 SHINHWA GRAND TOUR '2013 Shinhwa Grand Tour: The Classic in Hong Kong' at Asia World Expo in Hong Kong as the first stop of its Asia tour. This is the group's first time in Hong Kong.

A representative stated, "This is the first time for Shinhwa to hold a concert in Hong Kong since they debuted, so the concert will be especially meaningful not only to the fans but also for the members of Shinhwa themselves. They put a lot of effort to show their best so please show a lot of love and support."

'2013 Shinhwa Grand Tour: The Classic' will visit six different countries including Hong Kong, Shanghai, Taiwan, Tokyo and Beijing, and will have a grand finale in Seoul, expecting total of more than 100,000 audiences.

K.Will, 2AM and BTOB to hold joint concert

K.Will, 2AM and BTOB will be performing together in a special joint concert later this month.

The joint concert titled 'Boys to Man' will be held at the Kyunghee University's Hall of Peace on June 29th at 6:30 PM, headlining the two popular groups, 2AM and BTOB and soloist K.Will.

This will the first joint show of these talented artists who are all great in singing and appealing with mature charms. The concert will feature the voices of the BTOB members, who are in their early 20s, 2AM in mid-late 20s, and K,Will who's in early 30s, in a concept of a young boy growing up as a matured man.

According to the production company, the concert was created to give encouragement to the youth who are currently in despair.

After School’s Lizzy to make cameo in Japanese horror drama ‘Demon Ward’

After School's Lizzy will be making a TV screen debut in Japan.

Lizzy will make a special cameo appearance in the 3rd and 4th episodes of the MBS/TBS horror drama 'Demon Ward' which will make its premiere this coming July. She will play Korean student Tae hee who is hospitalized in Kumagawa hospital.

Lizzy shared, "At beginning, I was nervous that I was casted in horror drama because I get scared easily. But the director and staff took really good care of me and I was able to complete the filming without trouble."

The boys of B1A4, who are known for their easy-going personalities, displayed their manly and mature charms in their latest black and white pictorial for fashion magazine, '1st Look'.

Going for a concept of 'Backstreet Boys', B1A4 managed to pull off a 180-degree change from its signature sporty, boyish style to more edgy and classy looks. The group showed their manly charisma in various poses and facial expressions, expressing their transformation from boys to men.

Mnet recently announced the first line up of artists and now it finally revealed the second lineup for the highly-anticipated 'M Countdown Halo-Indonesia'.

In addition to the six previously revealed groups, B1A4, After School, 2NE1, 4minute, SISTAR, Roy Kim, Verbal Jint, VIXX and Eru would also be joining the 'M Countdown Halo-Indonesia' which will be held at the Mata Elang International Stadium in Jakarta, Indonesia on the 3rd of July.

Dal Shabet's Subin received a love confession from a baseball team's mascot!

In the released MV still cuts for Dal Shabet's comeback, the Korean baseball team Nexen Heroes' mascot literally fell for Subin's beauty as he confessed through a placard that reads, "I love you, Subin!!"

Dal Shabet will be returning to the stage on June 20 with a new mini-album 7 months after the release of 'Have, Don't Have' mini album in November of last year. The album is already drawing attention as it will be listing self-written songs of the members.

‘When A Man Loves’ cast and crew bid their farewells

MBC's Wednesday-Thursday drama "When a Man Falls in Love" has come to an end on June 6th and the full cast and crew bid their final goodbyes.

The last shooting was held at a bookstore in Incheon where the romantic love between Han Tae Sang (Song Seung Hun) and Seo Mi Do (Shin Se Kyung) developed. Song Seung Hun's fans from China, Taiwan, Japan, and other overseas countries arrived on set to cheer on the actor. They even prepared snacks for the cast and crew.

As director Kim Sang Ho announced the end of the drama, Song Seung Hun, Shin Se Kyung, and many other staffs and fans yelled out their cheers.

Meanwhile, 'When A Man Loves' was rated the top-show this week after nabbing in an average viewership rating of 11.6 percent on June 5 and 6 according AGB Nielsen Media Research.

First season of 'TEN' To Be on Mnet America!

The first season of  Korean drama 'TEN' will be aired on Mnet America.

'TEN' is a recognized Korean well-made crime drama produced by CJ E&M, starring Joo Sang Uk and Jo An. The title 'TEN' refers to a special crime unit, which deals with cases with less than 10 percent rate of arrests. The popular drama will now be aired on Mnet America.

Having been broadcast from November 2011 to January 2012, the first season of received high popularity among K-drama fans. According to CJ E&M, its first season was sold to 11 countries, including the United States, Japan, Hong Kong and many Southeast Asian countries. For its solid story line and sophisticated photography, 'TEN' has proven the high quality of Korean crime investigation dramas. Colorful girl group Rainbow has returned to the spotlight yet again with their latest track "Sunshine", showcasing an uplifting and bright concept!

Returning to the music scene as a solo artist, Super Junior-M's Henry kicked off his first solo debut performance of "Trap" on the June 7th episode of KBS 'Music Bank'.

"Trap" is decribed as an urban dance pop number with a unique blend of strong drum beats, piano and strings. The song is accompanied by two SM artists, Super Junior's Kyuhyun and SHINee's Taemin, raising much anticipation and excitement.

Henry is someone who not only can sing and dance, but also play the piano and violin. He has also previously composed songs with composer team, Noise Bank. Through his new album, Henry will be revealing his own unique style of music and show off his many talents.

Skarf returns with “Luv Virus” on ‘Music Bank’

After almost 10 months since the release of first single 'Oh! Dance', Korean-Singaporean girl group Skarf returned with their first mini-album 'Luv Virus'. Kickstarting their promotions, they performed their first comeback stage on 'Music Bank'.

The main track, which is also titled "Luv Virus", is a bright, refreshing track that perfectly fits this summer. The song is composed by Lee Ki and hitmaker Seo Young Bae, whom had composed Ailee's "Heaven", Orange Caramel's "Lipstick" and also Skarf's "My Love" from their debut single.

B2ST's Dongwoon has celebrated his birthday with a memorial visit.

Dongwoon celebrated his 22nd birthday on June 6th, the same day as Memorial Day in Korea. Instead of throwing a party, he celebrated both his birthday and Memorial Day, he visited the memorial monument in Hanam City near Seoul with his friends.

He shared some photos on his Twitter and wrote, "Since I was born on this meaningful day, I thought about what I'm going to do today. So I climbed up to Mountain Geomdan and then went to the memorial monument below with my friends."

Dongwoon also thanked everyone saying, "I thank my parents and thank everyone who congratulated me. I hope you spare a day to think about the deceased patriots who died protecting our country."

Ivy teams up with Park Jin Young for “I Dance” comeback

Female soloist IVY is coming back to the local music scene to take back her former title as K-pop's sexy queen with the help from singer-producer Park Jin Young (JYP).

Ivy will release her second mini-album 'INTERVIEW PART. 2' on June 13 and her new title song "I Dance" was revealed to be written and composed by Park Jin Young. He also produced her debut single 'What Happened Tonight' and contributed to 'IVY syndrome'.

The dance track "I Dance" which will have a mix of tango, hip-hop and electronic sound will also feature Wonder Girls' rapper Yubin. Yubin will also be featured in the track's music video as well as scheduled to perform alongside Ivy during her comeback stages.

FT Island celebrates 6th anniversary

Idol band FT Island celebrated their sixth anniversary since their debut.

The boys celebrated the special event with a small party among themselves. FT Island sent their message to fans through their agency FNC Entertainment saying, "We want to sincerely thank our fans for our sixth anniversary and we will continue to make better music."

Also, photos from their celebration have been released showing the group members holding a cake saying "FT ISLAND Debut 6 Years Congratulations."

FT Island is currently preparing for the release of their third Japanese studio album 'RATED-FT' on June 12.
