FT Island’s upcoming single chosen as CM song for Japan’s TV ad

FT Island's upcoming Japanese single has been chosen as the CM song of a TV advertisement.

The group will release their 11th Japanese single titled 'Theory of Happiness' on July 24. The title song of the same name has been chosen as the CM song of the TV advertisement of Japanese dining company, 'Sukiya'.

Sukiya is a major dining company in Japan which owns 1900 branches over the country. The TV ads featuring FT Island's track will be aired starting on June 23.

Meanwhile, "Theory of Happiness" is also chosen as the ending theme song for Japanese animated film 'Toriko' which will be released on July 27th.

G-Dragon to launch his own Vitamin Water product

Big Bang's G-Dragon will be launching his own Vitamin Water product.

G-Dragon has participated in Glaceau Vitamin Water's new campaign "G-Creator Project" and presented his very own trendy design for the brand. The collaboration product "G-CREATOR" is set to hit the local market next month.

In the past, Vitamin Water has collaborated with various pop culture icons, including Mr.Verbal and 50cent.

Meanwhile, G-Dragon will also participate in 'G-Creator Special Party' in Seoul along YG Entertainment labelmates Tablo and Lee Hi, to celebrate the launching of the new project.

Suzy denied dating rumors between her and actor Kim Soo Hyun.

During a press conference for the conclusion of MBC's 'Gu Family Book', Suzy addressed the surrounding dating rumor with Kim Soo Hyun. She said, "I've never heard the rumor before. No one told me about it. We're just close friends."

Suzy added, "Kim Soo Hyun and I still contact each other. I saw his movie preview, but recently, we have been too busy to contact each other frequently. I guess the rumors came out because we're so close."

Former After School member, Kahi, is receiving much attention after evaluating HyunA's dancing ability.

On the June 26th episode of MBC's 'Radio Star', Kahi, Goo Joon Yup, Park Myung Soo, and Don Spike appeared as guests representing the 'emperors of the nightlife'.

During the show, the MCs compared Kahi with 4minute's HyunA, who are both known as top female idol dancers. When asked who is better, Kahi answered, "Even from my point of view, I think HyunA dances in a really pretty way." However, she jokingly added, "But she still has 10 years to go in order to catch up with me."

After the broadcast, Kahi left a comment on her Twitter saying, "HyunA, you know that I love you, right?", clearing up any misunderstandings.

Jo Jung Seok sings a love song for IU

Jo Jung Seok will be confessing his love for IU through a love song as part of the official soundtrack of KBS' drama, 'You're the Best, Lee Soon Shin'.

On the 30th episode of the drama, Junho (Jo Jung Seok) played the guitar and sang a song for Soon Shin (IU) by the campfire. Right after the broadcast, the viewers showed much interest for the song Jo Jung Seok had sung.

The song is titled "I Love You So Much" and will be fully released on June 28th. The song is a bright medium-tempo number that features light acoustic guitar and percussion sounds, and dramatic arrangements. It was co-written by Lee Hyun Seung and No Joo Hwan, who wrote a great number of hit OSTs.

SHINee releases collaborative collection with SKECHERS

As previously reported, SHINee designed for SKECHERS as a form of collaboration project with the brand and Naver. Starting on June 26, SHINee's t-shirts and hats became available for pre-sale order through 'SKECHER SHOP' of NAVER's online shopping website.

On June 27, SM Entertainment also revealed BTS footage from the design meeting held at Seoul's Cheongdamdong on June 4th. SHINee designed the t-shirts and hats, which fully reflect each of members' individuality and unique style.

SHINee SKECHERS collaboration line comes in 5 hats and 5 t-shirts and is available for pre-sale order through NAVER shopping website from June 26 to July 16.

KARA member Gyuri and MBLAQ member Cheondung's TV series 'Nailshop Paris' will be broadcasting overseas to Japan.

The drama, which airs through MBC Queen and MBC Dramanet, will go on air in Japan starting July 14 through Japan's DATV. The drama will have a total of 12 episodes, two more than its running in Korea, containing undisclosed footage.

Other countries such as China, Philippines and other Asian countries are currently in the works of having this drama broadcasted as well.

On June 26, KBS announced that 4minute's upcoming single, "Is it Poppin'?" has been deemed unfit for broadcast due to its lyrics. The problem came from the English word "ass" included in the song's lyrics.

Cube Entertainment plans to modify the lyrics and re-submit the song for review.

Rookie boy group A-JAX is returning to the music stage with their upcoming second mini album titled, 'Insane'.

A-JAX's official Twitter released a teaser image along with the message, "A-JAX Comeback Soon", announcing that they will be joining the July comeback rush. The self-designed teaser image shows their own transformation in music, choreography and fashion.
