Big Bang’s Daesung closes curtains of his solo Japan tour

Big Bang's Daesung (D-Lite) successfully wrapped up his first solo concert tour in Japan.

On June 18th, Daesung held the final leg of his Japan concert tour at Yokohama Arena, performing in front of approximately 13,000 cheering fans. For the whole three hours, he performed a total of 20 songs including tracks from his 'D'scover' album.

In addition, Daesung was accompanied by a great number of Japanese musicians and managed to give totally new concert experiences to his fans.

Daesung began his solo tour in Korea and Japan since late March and he toured around 20 cities including places where even Big Bang has not reached yet, meeting up with approximately 100,000 fans in total.

Daesung said, "I was very worried and nervous while preparing my Japanese album and concert tour, but now, I feel very happy to be singing in front of all of you. I will keep doing my best."

Meanwhile, with the support of Big Bang's official fanclub in Japan, Daesung will have an encore concert in Okinawa on June 23.

It has been revealed that SISTAR's Hyorin will be lending her beautiful vocals for hip hop team Dynamic Duo's comeback album.

Dynamic Duo will release their seventh studio album 'Lucky Numbers' in July, marking the duo's return a year and 6 months since their 6th album. Talented hip hop artists including Primary, Supreme Team, Zion. T and Muzie of UV are said to have participated in their album.

Also, SISTAR's Hyorin will be featuring in one of the songs of Dynamic Duo, adding excitement for the duo's comeback. Hyorin is considered one of the best idol vocals K-pop scene, and is currently promoting "Give It To Me" with SISTAR.

Sunny Hill releases concept photos for ‘Young Folk’

Talented group Sunny Hill has releases their concept photos for third mini album 'Young Folk' which was released online on June 19.

In the photos, the girls look lively in polka dotted costumes and feminine hair and makeup for a cute image. It also features musician Harim, who plays the Greek musical instrument bouzouki in the title song, "Darling Of All Hearts".

Super Junior's Ryeowook and f(x)'s Luna released their OST single "The Start of Something New" for the the Korean adaptation of Disney Channel hit 'High School Musical'.

On June 20, CJ E&M released a music video for the track, providing the fans a first look of the musical version of the hit teen movie in which Ryeowook and Luna will be playing the lead roles.

The Korea-version remake will premiere at the Blue Square Samsung Card Hall on July 2, 2013 and expected to run until September.

Roy Kim released a video teaser for his first studio album title song "Love Love Love", giving fans a preview of his upcoming track.

Singer Roy Kim, who previously made his official debut with first single, "Spring Spring Spring", will be releasing his first full-length album on June 25. The album contains a total of nine tracks which are Roy Kim's very own compositions.

JYJ's Junsu (XIA) will return to the music scene as a solo artist once again with his second album this coming July, and he just dropped his first image teaser.

In the photo, Junsu was seen donning a jacket with colorful emblems and showed a new hairstyle, exuding his manly charms.

According to CJES Entertainment, "His new music video will show the perfect harmony of vintage and fantasy. It will contain hip-hop rhythm that provides a cool sensation just in time for the summer."

Mnet's "M! Countdown" is back this week full of amazing performances!

The June 20th episode of the show was hosted by After School's Lizzy and Kaeun. Tonight's show features highly anticipated comeback performances from Dal Shabet, Sunny Hill, LEDApple and Baek Ah Yeon as well as solo debut of Two Month's Lim Kim and new girl group 2EYES. Labelmates T-ara, The SEEYA, 5dolls and SPEED also came together to perform their collaborative single.

Showcasing her sweet and lovely transformation, 'K-POP Star Season 1' finalist Baek Ah Yeon is back with her second mini album titled 'A Good Girl' featuring the title song, "A Good Boy".

SidusHQ's first girl group, 2EYES, is out on the scene with their debut single "Don't Mess With Me", performing their first debut stage on this week's 'M! Countdown'.

Their debut single album will include the title song "Don't Mess With Me" and two other tracks, "Bloody Luv" and "This Is Irony." Unlike most of other girl groups, 2EYES will have more of hip hop style.

2EYES is made up of five members namely Lee Hyang Sook, Kim Hye Rin, Lee Da Som, Jung Da Eun, and Kim Yeon Jun. Being the first girl group of SidusHQ, the agency is giving its full support, bringing talented musicians and dancers to help them on their debut.

Delivering new kind of music, talented group Sunny Hill is back on the spotlight with their third mini album 'Young Folk' and latest title song, "Darling Of All Hearts".

Known for unique and changing concepts for previous tracks, Sunny Hill is trying different music styles this time using folk music with "Darling Of All Hearts". It has a Bohemian polka-rhythm along with Jungle and Rock feelings with it as well.

The song was composed by songwriter Kim Yena and KZ, who is LOEN Entertainment's very own composer. Also, Hareem makes a featuring in the track to make the music even more fun.

According to the Oricon Chart on June 19, Donghae and Eunhyuk's second single album as a unit titled 'I Wanna Dance' landed on the no.3 spot of the Daily Singles chart after selling 36,329 copies on its first day.

In the other hand, the successful unit's labelmates Girls' Generation sat sixth on the same chart with their seventh Japanese single album, 'LOVE & GIRLS', which was released on the same day, June 19.

KARA’s Nicole invited to ‘VMAJ 2013’ as Korean artist representative

KARA's Nicole has been invited as the sole Korean artist to attend the 'Video Music Awards Japan 2013' (VMAJ 2013).

The VMAJ 2013, which is Japan's biggest music awards ceremony, will take place on June 22 in Chiba, Japan. At the event, Nicole will be having a solo performance of her solo track, "Lost", which is part of KARA's special group album called 'KARA Solo Collection'.

A representative of VMAJ stated, "KARA was invited as the representative Korean artists at the 'MTV World Stage Live In Malaysia 2012' last July. With Nicole's fluent English skills and her talents, she was invited to perform a solo stage for MTV VMAJ 2013."

Singer Ivy has recruited Rainbow's rapper Woori to help her out onstage for her "I Dance" performance.

Ivy released her new mini album on June 13 and already began her comeback promotions with Wonder Girls' Yubin, who's been rapping for her title song, "I Dance". However, starting on the June 20th broadcast of 'M! Countdown', Woori will be stepping up as the rapper for Ivy's performance.

INFINITE’s 1st world tour crashes ticketing servers

INFINITE is drawing major attention by selling out concert tickets for first world tour, taking down ticketing servers upon opening sales.

On June 18, the ticketing for the Korea leg of '2013 INFINITE 1st World Tour: One Great Step' opened on InterPark at 8PM (KST). Fans immediately flocked to the site, leading the server crashed due to heavy traffic. It was restored about an hour later after which the tickets sold out.

INFINITE will open their first world tour with a the two-day concert in Seoul to be held on August 9 and 10 at the Olympic Park Gymnastics Hall. The group will then take their concert to countries in Asia, North America, South America, and Europe.

According to music website Soribada, SISTAR's comeback song "Give It To Me" topped the weekly music chart for the second week of June (June 10th - 16th). Not only that, a total of 8 songs from their new album like "The Way You Make Me Melt", "Summer Time", "Crying", "Bad Boy", "A Week", "Hey You", and "If You Want" were also ranked in the top 20 chart.
