A representative from CJ E&M revealed that Roy Kim is currently putting the finishing touches on his first full-length album which will be filled with high-quality tracks like "Spring Spring Spring".

With Roy Kim's "Spring Spring Spring" successfully achieved an all-kill on music charts, his comeback is already drawing the eyes as he will join the intense competition with great number of artists such as, SISTAR, After School and Ivy.

2PM’s Taecyeon and So Yi Hyun cast in new tvN drama ‘Who Are You’

2PM's Taecyeon and actress So Yi Hyun have been confirmed as the leads of the upcoming tvN drama 'Who Are You'.

The drama 'Who Are You', which will premiere in late July after the conclusion of 'Dating Agency, Cyrano', is about the romantic story between a man who believes in what he sees, and a woman who wakes up from a six-year long coma and earns the supernatural power to see spirits.

The two stars have been cast as two detectives with conflicting personalities. Taecyeon will play the role of Cha Gun Woo, a detective who observes with only his five senses while So Yi Hyun will appear as Yang Si Ohn, who can see spirits and ghosts.

Big Bang’s Daesung to release solo Japanese single “I Love You”

Big Bang's Daesung, who goes by the alias 'D-Lite', will release his first solo single in Japan next month.

According to YG Entertainment, Daesung will collaborate with internationally renowned Japanese violinist, Taro Hakase, for his upcoming solo single "I Love You". The song is a remake of the song by popular J-pop singer Ozaki Yutaka, which was widely known in Korea as well.

Daesung was very honored to work with Taro Hakase, who has found fame by working with Celine Dion's popular song "To Love You More". He said, "Ozaki Yutaka's song was so popular that there was some pressure for me to sing it, but I decided to challenge myself because it's a song I love. I'm honored I'll be collaborating with Taro Hakase."

Daesung's newly re-interpreted version of song "I Love You" will be released on July 31.

EXO takes #1 spot on Billboard World Album chart

In addition to achieving their first music show win on 'Music Bank', the monster group EXO has also nabbed the top spot on Billboard's World Albums chart!

According to the latest Billboard rankings, EXO's first studio album, XOXO (Kisse&Hug), which was released on June 3, ranked first on World Album Chart for the first time.

In addition, the group also scored the top place on the weekly album charts of local music sites at Hanteo Chart and Hot Tracks. According to the Hanteo Chart, the album sold 118,595 copies during the week of June 3 to 9.

2PM wraps up ‘Grown’ promotions + to release repackaged album next week

Idol group 2PM will be wrapping up promotions for their third album 'Grown'.

2PM made a grand comeback with two title songs from their album, "A.D.T.O.Y." and "Come Back After Listening to This Song" which ranked on top of the music charts not only in Korea but also in 9 other countries in Asia.

The group will end their promotional activities on this week's music programs and will start preparing for upcoming Asia Tour grand finale concert titled '2PM LIVE TOUR in SEOUL – The Grand Finale' to be held on June 21st and 22nd in Seoul.

In addition 2PM will also be releasing a 'Grand Edition' of their third album 'Grown'. The 'Grand Edition' includes the original album's twelve tracks and ten more tracks that are written and composed by the members. This album was produced to thank all the fans' supports and will be released on June 19th.

After School is confident its performance will beat SISTAR?

After School showed their confidence toward the competition with girl group SISTAR.

On June 13, After School held its showcase for its 6th maxi single 'First Love', and opened up about its new concept and plans for promotion.

When asked about their thoughts on SISTAR, who came back in same season with similar sexy concept, Raina honestly answered, "We saw videos online and they looked great. Hyorin voice filled the stage. We thought that we should work harder."

She added, "I can't say we'll be better than SISTAR but since we have prepared for six months for this comeback, we are confident with our performance as well. We hope we get good result."

Which YG artist Akdong Musician finds hardest to approach?

Having signed a contract with YG Entertainment, 'K-Pop Star 2' winner Akdong Musician revealed which senior artist is the most difficult to approach.

On June 12, the duo held an interview with SBS' 'One Night of TV Entertainment' at the YG Entertainment office in Seoul. When asked who the most unapproachable senior is, Lee Chan Hyuk replied, "Lee Hi senior is a bit chic and cold. I find it difficult to approach her."

Akdong Musician also shared their reason for choosing YG Entertainment. Lee Soo Hyun explained, We believe that YG Entertainment will allow us to express ourselves freely. Yang Hyun Suk said that he'd do his best to support us.

After School has always been about performance, and behind their perfect choreography for "First Love" comeback, they have been suffering from serious injuries.

Recently, a member of the dance team for After School shared photo of After School's injuries sustained during practice. The photo revealed the bandaged hands as well as sore and bruised legs of the members.

Pole dancing is not as easy as they made it look, as After School members are literally throwing themselves into practice to give their fans a great performance.

Released via Naver Music's special event page, the new set of individual teaser photos show the members in a pool of white balls and baring their flawless skin, hinting at another sexy comeback.

Dal Shabet also unveiled the tracklist for their upcoming album. The album contains five tracks and an instrumental version of title song, "Be Ambitious". It will also be listing self-written songs of the members.

Singer Huh Gak and A Pink's Jung Eunji have come together to perform their collaborative single "Short Hair" during a special stage on this week's 'Music Bank'.

"Short Hair" was produced by the hit composer Duble Sidekick and serves as the 'BLUE' episode of 'A Cube For Season' project album.

This is isn't the first time Huh Gak and Eunji worked in a duet as the two singers previously sang together in the song "Knowing We're Going to Break Up". Their beautiful harmony will coolly blow the summer heat away.

SHINee to perform at ‘UMF Korea 2013’ with BeatBurger

SHINee has been invited as a special guest in the Ultra Music Festival Korea 2013 (UMF Korea 2013), which is one of the world's largest electronic music festivals.

According SM Entertainment, SHINee will collaborate with DJ performance team, Beat Burger, and will be performing the remix of three of their hit songs including "Dream Girl".

The large-scale music event will take place on June 14 and 15, and SHINee will participate on the second day which will be held at the Jamsil Stadium in Seoul.

Ulala Session to release new mini album ‘Memory’ after the passing of Lim Yoon Taek

After a long break, Ulala Session will be making a comeback with new mini album titled, 'Memory'.

On June 13, Ulala Company confirmed that Ulala Session will release their new mini album 'Memory'. This will be their first album since the passing of their leader Lim Yoon Taek in early February due to stomach cancer.

The agency added that the new mini album will be a tribute for Lim Yoon Taek. As the title suggests, the group will sing about their own stories and past memories with ballad songs.

Girls’ Generation’s Yuri opens Instagram account

Yuri became the third Girls' Generation member to open a personal Instagram account.

On June 13th, Yuri opened an Instagram account under the username "yulyulk". She started off with a lovely picture of herself taken from the press conference for Girls' Generation's "2013 Girls' Generation's World Tour – Girls & Peace" tour.

Yuri is now the third member of Girls' Generation to join the photo sharing service, following Taeyeon and Hyoyeon.

FT Island’s upcoming single chosen as ending theme song for Japan’s anime movie ‘Toriko’

FT Island just released their third Japanese full length album 'RATED-FT' and they are already gearing up for another Japanese release!

According to the group's official Japanese website, FT Island will release their 11th Japanese single titled 'Theory of Happiness' on July 24. The single will contain 3 songs, including the title song "Theory of Happiness", and two others titled "Eyes on Me" and "Rainy Day".

The group will also record the the ending theme song for Japanese animated film 'Toriko'. The film is based on a Japanese comic book series by Mitsutoshi Shimabukuro, about Toriko traveling all around the world to find various foods and compete in cooking contests.

KARA’s Goo Hara to make a cameo in Japanese drama ‘Galileo 2’

KARA's Goo Hara will be making a special cameo appearance in the final episode of Japanese hit drama 'Galileo 2'.

According to the report, Goo Hara flew all the way to Japan to appear in a short scene in the popular Japanese series. She will play a role of 'Yuna' who works at an office and will be showing up with female lead, actress Yoshitaka Yuriko.

Goo Hara began a friendly relationship with 'Galileo 2' by participating in the soundtrack. She recently teamed up with famed actor and singer-songwriter, Fukuyama Masaharu, and released a Korean version of drama's main theme song titled, "Magic Of Love".

Hara's cameo on 'Galileo 2' will be broadcast on Fuji TV on June 17 (Japan Version) and MBC QueeN on July 22 (Korea Version).
