Fat Cat to officially debut in Japan

Talented singer Fat Cat will finally be expanding her singing career to Japan.

According to her agency on July 24, Fat Cat will be releasing her Japanese debut single titled "Make Up" through Japan's Victor Entertainment Flying Records. "Make Up" contains lyrics about a girl putting efforts to make herself cute, and catchy melody lines.

Fat Cat has signed a 3-year contract with Japanese recording company and started preparing for her solo debut in Japan since October 2012. A representative stated, "She will be communicating with a great number of different artists, and have many different kinds of promotion."

Fat Cat will start her official promotion on July 25th through Tokyo FM 'Music Dragon', and also appear on Nihon TV's 'Music Dragon' on the 26th.

Super Junior tops Oricon’s Album Chart with ‘Hero’

Super Junior's latest Japanese album has proudly stood at the top of Japan's prestigious Oricon chart.

The group's first studio album 'Hero' topped Oricon's daily album chart on the day of its release on July 24, after selling 52,232 copies. The album contains its title song "Hero", as well as 10 other tracks including "Bonamana", "Opera" and "Mr. Simple".

Also, 2PM Junho's debut mini album 'Kimi no Koe' debuted at #3 on the same chart by selling 40,036 copies while U-KISS' 'Inside of Me' came in on 6th spot.

Jay Park to embark on first European tour

Jay Park has already toured several different regions including Asia and North America, and this time, he is finally taking on Europe!

The tour will be held in the last week of September and will kick off in London, United Kingdom. This will be followed by concerts in Amsterdam, Netherlands and finish off in Germany.

Jay Park also confirmed his tour through a video that he posted on his official Facebook page, saying, "Yes, I'm going to be in Europe in September", hyping up the excitement of his fans in the continent.

ZE:A’s Hyungsik rejected YG and SM offers in the past

ZE:A's Hyungsik recently revealed that he turned down auditions from big name agencies.

On July 23, Hyungsik appeared on SBS' 'Incarnation' with IU, Lee Hyun Woo, and fellow member Kwanghee, where he revealed unknown stories about himself during his high school.

MC Bong Tae Gyu mentioned, "Hyungsik was a vocalist in his high school band and used to win competitions. Big name agencies like SM Entertainment, YG Entertainment, and others all invited him for auditions."

Hyungsuk replied, "At the time, I had no intentions of becoming a singer. I just loved music. I also had no idea anything about agencies back then as well."

The group recently returned and captured the public with its unique and amazing pole dance concept, and for UEE's new pictorial, she held the shoot at merry-go-round at an amusement park and utilized the pole of a carousel like a part of After School's latest choreography.

UEE also shared, "People associate 'pole dancing' with clubs but we call it 'pole art'. If the song is made with loud beat sound, we thought it will remind people of club mood so we chose a vague song instead. We thought pole dancing was easy but it was so difficult that some of us cried and had bruises all over. But as I practiced hard, I was eventually able to perform the moves to the audience."

Nine Muses involved in a car accident

Nine Muses was involved in a car crash, but fortunately, no one sustained major injuries.

On July 24, Star Empire revealed that the car carrying five Nine Muses members and their manager collided with the truck in a tunnel at the Joongbu expressway. The members were taken at a local hospital and were soon discharged after receiving X-rays and treatment.

None of the members were severely injured but the group still cancelled its appearance in an event in Ulsan that was to take place that day, as the members are still in a state of shock.

B2ST makes explosive “Shadow” comeback on ‘M! Countdown’

The boys of B2ST have recently made their comeback with the release of their album 'Hard to love, How to Love' and title track "Shadow", challenging themselves with a new style.

"Shadow" shows the signature sound of B2ST. It is a dance song with lyrical music, telling of one watching a loved one fade away like shadows disappear when lights goes off. The song was co-produced by member Junhyung and Kim Tae Joo.

B2ST stunned the crowd as they delivered explosive performances of two new songs including their title track "Shadow" and their second tune "I'm Sorry" from their second studio album 'Hard to love, How to Love'.

Girl group f(x) is finally jumping onto the stage with "Rum Pum Pum Pum", showing colors that only the group can uniquely hold.

"Rum Pum Pum Pum" is a pop dance song with addictive guitar sound and exciting percussion rhythm. The song is the title tune to f(x)'s upcoming second full length album 'Pink Tape' which will be released on the 29th.

"Hollywood" is a retro-disco piece, which adds melodies reminiscent of the 1990s. It features Shinji's distinguished singing prowess and the group's signature disco melodies. The song was composed in a team effort between Fish In Water and Lee Yoo Jin.

"Love Sick" is the title song to the group's first mini album 'Five Beats of Hearts', and is about girls giving a sweet revenge to a playboy by making him to fall in love with them. The song is said to be produced by Red Rocket, the same team who worked for Baek Ji Young's "Don't Forget Me" and Kim Tae Woo's "Love Rain".

Rookie group Lush debuts with “Second Crush” on ‘M! Countdown’

New vocal trio Lush is making its first step onto the music scene with debut single "Feeling Insignificant" and is planning to be recognized with members' impressive vocal talents.

Lush is apart of Oscar Ent, home to artists such as Bobby Kim and Double K. The members are Kim Ji Hae, Kim Min Hee, and Yoo Sa Ra, who are all 25-years-old and were a part of Korea's best army chorus group.

The group's title song "Second Crush" is a medium-tempo track which expresses about the couple reaching the end of their relationship.

Gong Hyo Jin and Seo In Guk have enjoyed a lovely laundry date together.

The two actors recently held their first shoot together for their SBS drama, 'Sun of the Lord', which will premiere on August 7th.

In the drama, Gong Hyo Jin appears as Tae Gong Sil, who tries to get used to her life after starting to see ghosts due to a fateful accident. Seo In Guk will play Kang Woo, who works for a security company.

Gong Sil and Kang Woo live in the same building, and they will form a love triangle with So Ji Sub's character, who is the owner of the shopping mall that they work for together.

This laundry date scene was filmed on June 25 at a rooftop apartment in Seoul. After moving to the building, Kang Woo was curious about the rooftop where he meets Gong Sil asleep under the bright sun. The two end up doing their laundry happily together.

On July 23, the members made a visit at the filming location of 'No Breathing' at Incheon, Gyeonggido. Despite the group's busy schedule, they showed their support for Ah Young, who is going through endless shootings in a tough weather. They even performed an impromptu stage of "Be Ambitious".

B2ST, f(x) and Ailee to join ‘DMZ World Peace Concert’

Top idol groups B2ST and f(x) as well as Ailee will be joining the lineup of artist confirmed to perform in the upcoming 'DMZ World Peace Concert', to be directed by the veteran singer Kim Jang Hoon.

Recently, Girl's Day and rookie artist K.Hunter confirmed their participation in the concert. Actors Choi Min Soo and Ahn Sung Ki were also listed in the line-up of stars taking part in a concert set to take place free of charge at Nuri Peace Park on August 3.

A representative stated, "We plan to continue adding to the lineup by inviting about 10 more acts from various areas. The second line-up will be revealed during a press conference which will mostly include people who contribute a lot to the meaning of the concert and overseas artists."

The concert, which will be hosted by Gyeonggi Province, is to convey the peace message in remembrance of the 60th anniversary of the ceasefire of the Korean War (1950-1953). Kim Jang Hoon is known for the elaborate concerts that he holds every year.

SM Entertainment says it never interrupted JYJ’s activities

SM Entertainment expressed dissatisfaction toward the sanction given by the Fair Trade Commission (FTC) against them and the KFBCAI for interfering with the JYJ's activities.

The agency has released its official statement saying, "We feel dissatisfaction that such decision has been made, despite the fact that we have never interfered with their activities. We're looking for a legal response to the sanction."

Korea Fair Trade Commission had issued a sanction on July 24 against JYJ's former agency SM Entertainment and the Korean Federation of Pop Culture and Art Industry, ordering them to stop interfering with the group's activities. FTC told the two entities used their clout to force local broadcasters to blacklist JYJ and pressure music distributors to limit JYJ's album circulation.

EXO to begin follow-up promotions with “Growl”

As reported earlier, after their much successful comeback with "Wolf", EXO is gearing up to release repackaged album and begin a follow-up promotions early next month.

A representative of SM Entertainment revealed, "EXO's first album 'XOXO' was a great success, so they decided to release a follow-up song soon."

EXO will be releasing a repackaged version of their 1st album 'XOXO(Kiss&Hug)' on August 5th. The repackaged album will include tunes from the original album plus three more songs including the title song "Growl". The group will kick off its first comeback stage on 'M! Countdown' on August 1.

AA pre-releases “Midnight Taxi” MV

AA (Double A) has released a music video for the track "Midnight Taxi" ahead of its official comeback with new album this August.

"Midnight Taxi" is a R&B track co-composed by AA's member Aoora and composer Frankie A.

Recently, AA also pre-released the track "2nite 3x" as a tribute for member Joowon, who recently left the group to pursue his own dream. Both "2nite 3x" and "Midnight Taxi" will be included in AA's upcoming next album.
