Super Junior successfully takes ‘Super Show 5’ tour to Singapore

Super Junior successfully took their 'Super Show 5' concert world tour to Singapore on July 6th at the Singapore Indoor Stadium, entertaining 10,000 cheering fans in attendance.

The group first launched their solo concert brand 'Super Show' back in February 2008, and they had 79 concerts in total, with millions of fans in attendance all over the world. Their concerts were usually sold out and they deeply impressed their fans by presenting the most unique performances.

At their Singapore stop, Super Junior performed a slew of their hit songs including "Sorry, Sorry", "BONAMANA", "Mr Simple", "Sexy, Free, & Single", and many others. The three-hour long show went on as per normal with top-notch fan service and plenty of synchronised dance sets and pre-recorded videos.

The members said, "We set up a goal of '100 show, 1 million audience' when we started our world tour, and we are so excited that we've achieved one of our goals. We also want to show our gratitude to fans who have showed their continuous support for Super Junior. We will try to improve and get even better."

Kim Hyun Joong to make acting comeback in ‘Grateful Generation’

Singer and actor Kim Hyun Joong will make his return to the small screen for the first time in three years through upcoming KBS 2TV Wed-Thu drama 'Grateful Generation'.

'Grateful Generation' is based in 1930 Shanghai about youths who go through love, friendship and passion. Kim Hyun Joong will play Sin Jeong Tae, the greatest fighter in all of the backstreets of Shanghai who is clumsy and random at times.

This will mark Kim Hyun Joong's return to the small screen after a 3 year hiatus following his 2010 MBC TV drama 'Playful Kiss'. He was to return sooner with 'City Conquest' but had to step down as it fell through after the drama failed to secure a time slot with broadcasting stations.

In related news, Kim Hyun Joong will release his third mini-album titled, 'ROUND 3' on July 22.

Ivy sends a lovecall to So Ji Sub

Sexy diva Ivy has expressed her interest on performing with actor So Ji Sub on stage.

On July 7th broadcast of SBS 'Challenge 1000 Songs', Ivy appeared and performed her latest title track, "I Dance". During the show, the singer, who has already stood on stage with different rappers for comeback performances, was asked if there is any rapper that she hopes to perform with.

Ivy responded, "I'm still calling different rappers because Yubin could perform with me only during the first week. I hope to bring So Ji Sub to my performance. I recently found out that he raps", sending a love call to the actor.

Starting from Wonder Girls Yubin, Miss A's Jia, Rainbow's Woori and Yang Dong Geun were featured on her stage as special guests, showing fabulous performances. For her next stage, Ivy is hoping to have So Ji Sub as her featured rapper.

TVXQ heats up L.A. with an exclusive concert

The talented duo of TVXQ has finally entered America for their world tour and they heated up Los Angeles with their successful first exclusive concert!

On July 5 (local time), TVXQ held its 'TVXQ! Live World Tour - Catch Me' concert at the Nokia Theater located in downtown Los Angeles, and stormed the stage in front of approximately 7,000 cheering fans.

At the Nokia Theater, which previously hosted concerts by Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga, Ne-Yo and Enrique Iglesias, TVXQ performed 25 songs in total, including "Catch Me", "Rising Sun", "Why", "Mirotic", "Know This", "Honey Funny Bunny" and "Whenever Wherever Whatever".

After the opening, Max Changmin said, "All of the fans who waited for us for 10 years will be all rewarded tonight."

And at the end of the show, Yunho said, "We were surprised to see the audience in the age of 50s to 60s along with younger fans, and we were again surprised by the ardent reaction from the audience. Tonight is a special day for the fans and for us as well, and we will never forget today's show."

‘Who Are You’ releases official drama poster of 2PM’s Taecyeon and So E Hyun

tvN's upcoming drama 'Who Are You', starring 2PM's Taecyeon and actress So E Hyun, has released its official drama poster, building up anticipation.

'Who Are You' is about the romantic story between detective Geon Woo (Ok Taecyeon) who believes in what he sees, and Si On (So E Hyun), a woman who wakes up from a six-year long coma and earns the supernatural power to see spirits. The couple will solve the mysteries from the objects in the 'Lost & Found Center'.

In the poster, Si On (So E hyun) is looking at the camera with sad face. Geon Woo (Taecyeon) is standing behind her as if he will protect her from anything. A black shadow is lurking behind them who is said to be Si On's dead ex-boyfriend Hyung Joon (Kim Jae Wook).

The poster also says "The sprits in the left overs started to talk to me".

The first episode of the drama will be aired starting July 29th.

With Lee Hyori reportedly getting married, fellow Fin.K.L member Ock Ju Hyun dedicated a special song for her.

On July 7th, Ock Ju Hyun uploaded a video titled "Ruby.. To: Leader Hyol" on YouTube. The 1-minute video shows the Fin.K.L's lead singer playing the piano while singing to the group's track, "Ruby".

After singing the song, Ock Ju Hyun made viewers laugh by banging her head on the piano, and yelled, "Go away!". Lee Hyori hilariously replied back, "HAHAHA. Bye~ I'm going first!".

Meanwhile, Lee Hyori and musician boyfriend Lee Sang Soon will be getting married in September at Lee Hyori's mansion located in Jejudo.

MR.MR releases making-of clip for “Waiting For You”

After pre-releasing the full music video for "Waiting For You" last week, rookie group MR.MR has now unveiled the making-of clip of their latest project.

The new clip shows behind the scenes footage from their preparations, album jacket photoshoot and music video filming.

"Waiting For You" is the title song of their mini album which features a familiar melody and a strong beat. The song shows the individual charisma of MR.MR members.

Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon sings “Bye” for ‘Mr. Go’ OST

Girls' Generation's Taeyeon has lent her voice to a new Korean 3D film 'Mr. Go'.

On July 8, SM Entertainment's official Youtube channel released a music video for Taeyeon's latest OST single titled, "Bye". The song is the work of musical director Lee Jaehak, who also created OSTs with director Kim Yonghwa for Kim Ahjoong's "Maria" in '200 Pounds Beauty', as well as Loveholic's "Butterfly" for 'Take Off'.

The music video shows scenes from the movie and Taeyeon in the recording studio singing the song. A short interview clip has been unveiled as well.

f(x)’s Krystal confirmed for upcoming drama ‘The Heirs’

f(x)'s Krystal was previously considered for a role in SBS upcoming drama 'The Heirs', and she now finally confirmed her casting, making her comeback as an actress in two years.

On July 8th, SM Entertainment confirmed that Krystal will be appearing in the upcoming SBS drama 'The Heirs', which also starring actor Lee Min Ho and actress Park Shin Hye. This will be her first attempt at a traditional drama and she will play rich high school student which is said to have a strong and youthful personality.

'The Heirs' is an upcoming piece by screenwriter Kim Eun Sook, who wrote such hits as 'Lovers in Paris', 'Secret Garden' and 'A Gentleman's Dignity'. The drama is expected to air in the second half of the year.

2NE1 to make first comeback on ‘M! Countdown’

After the cancellation of SBS 'Inkigayo', 2NE1 is set to make its first comeback stage on this week's episode of Mnet's 'M! Countdown'.

YG Entertainment recently announced that 2NE1 will start the promotion of the new song "Falling in Love" on 'M! Countdown'. The group was supposed to make its return on 'Inkigayo', but the music program was cancelled following the tragic Asiana Airlines plane crash that occurred on the 7th.

‘We Got Married’ couples compete for the ‘main spread’ of pictorial magazine

The current 'We Got Married' couples, Jo Jung Chi and Jung In, 2AM's Jinwoon and Go Jun Hee, and SHINee's Taemin and A Pink's Son Na Eun, recently participated in a couple-themed photoshoot, competing who will grace in the 'main spread' of the magazine.

For their photo shoots, the couples worked with the editors of a fashion magazine and prepared different concepts that showcase their individual charms. The real-life couple Jo Jung Chi and Jung In infused the musical with the romantic as they wanted to capture the essence of olden couples brought together.

Jinwoon and Go Jun Hee pair went for a little daring concept and showed some skin in a chic couple pictorial. Taemin and Son Na Eun decided to have a more laid back concept, and showcased their pure and innocent love along with nature.

Stellar makes you want to “Study” in comeback teasers

Girl group Stellar, who debuted back in 2011 under the management of Shinhwa's Eric, is returning to the local music scene this July with the release of their digital single.

Top Class Entertainment revealed the jacket photo for Stellar's upcoming digital single, "Study". The single was produced by talented musician and hit maker, Sweetune, while the choreography is being handled by Yama & Hot Chicks.

The same director who had worked with SISTAR's "Give It To Me" will be handling Stellar's music video as well.

Stellar will reveal their new music video on July 9th and will release their new single by July 11th.

His label Key East announced that Kim Hyun Joong will release his third mini-album titled, 'ROUND 3' on July 22. A teaser photo has been also released, showcasing the singer's muscular back side that is hinting at fierce and sexy concept.

Brown Eyed Girls to make a comeback this July

Joining the fierce battle of July, girl group Brown Eyed Girls will be making a comeback at the end of this month.

The group's leader, Jea piqued fans' curiosity by posting a photo on her Twitter page featuring the words, "Sometimes fresh and sometimes sweet, a recipe for special of you, Brown Eyed Girls 2013.07.09" along the caption "Brown Eyed Girls D-5~!!".

According to their agency, Brown Eyed Girls will be releasing a digital single on July 9th. Their new song's genre or concept were not revealed yet, and the agency said on the 7th, "We will be giving further informations about the new song tomorrow. Please stay tuned."

Brown Eyed Girls' comeback is expected to heat up the music scene that is jam-packed with leading girl groups such as 2NE1.

SHU-I will be making their Korean comeback after 3 long years this July. After revealing their jacket photo and album tracklist, they now unveiled a music video teaser for title song, "Don't Let Your Confidence Die".

SHU-I's first Korean mini album will be officially released on July 10th, marking the five member group's first return to Korea since their debut with "Bomb Bomb Bomb" in September 2009.
