CNBLUE to release 2nd Japanese Album.

Idol group CNBLUE will be making their comeback in Japan with their Japan 2nd major album titled 'What Turns You On?'. The album has a total of 11 tracks and also a bonus track which is the English version of 'Robot.' Almost all the songs were composed and written by members Jung Yong Hwa and Lee Jong Hyun, showcasing their skills in composing and writing songs.

Shinhwa concludes Asia tour with big finale concert in Seoul

The boys of Shinhwa closed down the curtains of their 2013 Asia tour with a successful, full-packed finale concert in Seoul over the weekend.

Shinhwa performed a total of 10 concerts across 6 cities in Asia, and spent a wonderful time performing in front of over 100,000 fans. To wrap things up, they held their '2013 Shinhwa Grand Finale 'The Classic' in Seoul' at Seoul Olympic Park Gymnastics Stadium on August 4th.

During a press conference prior the concert, Shinhwa talked about why they decided to finish their Asia tour in Seoul. Min Woo explained, "We had a short promotion because of the Asia tour, and we knew many fans were yearning for more."

With their finale concert now over, Shinhwa members have wrapped up promotions for their 11th album 'The Classic' at the same time. The group will have its members go their own ways for the time being and release solo albums, act and promote overseas.

EXO sweeps music charts with repackaged album

EXO has seized the top spots of various online music charts with their repackaged album.

On August 5, EXO released their repackaged physical album 'XOXO (KISS&HUG)' and their follow-up title song "Growl" immediately took the No. 1 spot on the real-time streaming charts of Bugs, MelOn, Mnet, Soribada, Daum, Monkey3, Olleh and Naver.

In addition, other new songs from the repackaged album "Lucky" and "XOXO" ranked high on the charts as well.

MBLAQ heads to Mexico for an exclusive concert

On August 5, MBLAQ left for Mexico City for their six-day activities including their first-ever exclusive concert in the region.

The group will hold a solo concert, 'MBLAQ MEXICO 2013' at Pepsi Center in Mexico City on August 8. Co-produced by Korean international broadcaster Arirang TV and Mid-South American broadcaster Televisa, this concert is to promote cultural exchange between Korean and Mexico and MBLAQ will stay in the country from August 5-10.

MBLAQ said, "We much enjoyed out earlier visit to Brazil, Peru and Chile thanks to our fans who gave us enthusiastic support. We'll do our best to show our best side and to encourage the cultural exchange between the two countries."

2NE1 to appear on ‘Music Bank’ for the first time in 3 years

Making a return for the first time in three years, 2NE1 will hold their comeback stage on KBS's 'Music Bank' along with YG Entertainment's new soloist Kang Seung Yoon.

According to their agency, 2NE1 and Kang Seung Yoon will br making an appearance on KBS's 'Music Bank' on August 9. This will be 2NE1's first appearance on the show in 3 years, and they will showcase their new song "Do You Love Me" for the first time.

Having already performed his first debut stage on Inkigayo, Kang Seung Yoon will also make an appearance on 'Music Bank' and perform his newest rock single, "Wild and Young".

Meanwhile, 2NE1's "Do You Love Me", which is a follow-up track to "Falling In Love", will be released on August 7th.

EXO to become fixed cast of ‘Immortal Song 2’

Currently storming the music scene with successful comeback, EXO has now become fixed cast members of KBS2's 'Immortal Song 2'!

According to a recent announcement, EXO's Baekhyun and Chen will join the survival competition show as fixed cast members. The two participated in their first filming for the Jang Mi Hwa and Lim Hee Sook special on August 5.

A representative stated, "Baekhyun and Chen will take the stage while the other members will still participate in the talk session with other participants", adding that EXO will start making regular appearances and the members will take turns performing a songs on each episode.

Girls' Generation's Sooyoung appeared on August 4th broadcast of SBS' '1000 Songs Challenge' and talked about her kiss scene with actor Lee Jong Hyuk during the ending part of their previous tvN drama series, 'Dating Agency: Cyrano'.

Sooyoung shared, "I thought it wouldn't be awkward because Lee Jong Hyuk always made me very comfortable. However, it was awkward when the shooting actually started. It was a weird feeling that I've never felt before."

It has been revealed that former Wonder Girls member Sunmi will be returning to the music industry as a soloist after 3 years and 7 months of being away from the scene.

A representative from JYP Entertainment confirmed that Sunmi is currently preparing for her solo debut. Park Jin Young will be taking charge of her debut, helping with her wardrobe, music video and choreography.

Sunmi will give her first debut performance on Mnet's 'M! CountDown' on August 22, as well as hold a showcase before the stage performance.

2NE1’s Dara and Bom celebrate Kang Seung Yoon’s successful debut

Rookie soloist Kang Seung Yoon celebrated his debut with a dinner party with senior labelmates and 2NE1 members Sandara Park and Park Bom.

On August 4th, Park Bom posted on her Twitter, "That is Kang Seung Yoon. We came for a dinner after 'Inkigayo'. A really handsome and cool guy, Kang Seung Yoon. We had a lot of fun today", and shared a photo of the YG Entertainment labelmates having a dinner together.

Sandara Park and Park Bom recently teamed up to launch their own official YouTube channel 'Double Park TV' which not only promote 2NE1's comeback, but also Kang Seung Yoon's solo debut. The three gathered together for a dinner party to celebrate their success.

f(x) reveals footage from ‘Play! Pink Tape’ showcase

Ahead of their official comeback, f(x) held a showcase event, 'f(x) Music Spoiler-Play! Pink Tape,' on July 29 to introduce their new album 'Pink Tape'. The event, which was hosted by SHINee members Jonghyun and Key, was live streamed on Naver Music, featured interviews and behind-the-scenes clips from the video shoot of their new single, "Rum Pum Pum Pum".

In the event, f(x) also performed the title song "Rum Pum Pum Pum" and the alternative pop number "Shadow," which was a soundtrack to their retro-themed "art film" that was released as a teaser.

Comedian and host Kim Gura and rookie girl group Crayon Pop, who's currently receiving love with its latest addictive track, made a special appearance on tvN's adult comedy show, Saturday Night Live Korea.

On the August 3rd broadcast, Kim Gura made a hilarious parody of Crayon Pop's "Bar Bar Bar" along with 'SNL Korea' cast and Crayon Pop members. They appeared in the girl group's trademark helmet and tracksuit outfits as they perform a rearranged version of "Bar Bar Bar".

Super Junior-M's Henry successfully concluded his first solo promotions in Thailand!

Henry took a visit to Thailand on August 1st and 2nd for the promotion of his first solo mini album, 'Trap'. He participated in live broadcast at 'Channel [V] Thailand' studio to introduce his new album, and met up with hundreds of fans who gathered to see him.

A great number of local press reporters attended and showed great interests for Henry. In a press conference, the Super Junior member also impressed the public as he gave his best answers in English, Thai and Korean.

Girl's Day Minah successfully finished her first broadcast as the new female host of SBS' weekly music program, 'Inkigayo'.

On August 4th, Minah posted on her Twitter, "Finished the first Inkigayo MC stage safely!! Huu~ Thanks to all the staffs members that helped me a lot, PD-nim, Kwanghee oppa and Hyunwoo too~! I'll do my best in the future!!"

She added, "Oh~~!! Most importantly, I love you daisy chuk~", thanking her fans who've came to support her on the show.

Starting on August 4, Minah will be hosting the music show alongside ZE:A's Kwanghee and actor Lee Hyun Woo. On this day, she also performed Lee Hyori's "U Go Girl" as a special stage.

A great number of talented artists will be having a fierce battle this coming September!

It has been revealed that solo singer IU finally set the date of her comeback for September. She is currently in the midst of filming her ending scenes for KBS 2TV's weekend drama 'You're the Best Lee Soon Shin' and recording her upcoming album.

YG Entertainment artists Psy and Taeyang have already announced their plans for comebacks in September. Psy revealed that he has already finished 3 tracks for his upcoming album. Taeyang is also expected to make his return as a solo artist with his first solo album in 3 years.

KARA, who are currently busy with Japanese promotions, also announced their comeback this September. The talented trio of Busker Busker will release their 2nd album on the same month, raising anticipation for another comeback war.

EXO’s fans banned from ‘Inkigayo’

EXO's fans will no longer be allowed into both the pre-recording and live performance of the group on SBS' weekly music program, 'Inkigayo'.

According to an official announcement on EXO's official homepage, EXO's fans have been officially banned from attending 'Inkigayo' starting August 4 until further notice. The reason given for the ban is that the fans failed to follow staff orders and broke many safety rules such as jaywalking in front of the broadcast station and chasing after the artists' vehicles.

The announcement also stated that fans used cheering tools like fanboards, placards and light sticks, in a dangerous way, putting other artists and fans at risk. The show's producers also mentioned that on multiple occasions the police have even had to intervene.

Not only at Inkigayo, EXO's fans have been also ignoring the instructions of staffs on other broadcast stations which started to negatively affect the group members themselves.

EXO releases ‘XOXO (Kiss & Hug)’ Repackaged Album

Ladies’ Code releases third MV teaser for “Hate You”

After delaying its comeback due to Zuny's injury, Ladies' Code are finally prepping up for their return with the release of third MV teaser for "Hate You".

Although there are still scenes with the creepy dolls, member Lee So Jung especially impresses with a short acoustic performance in the beginning of the teaser. Individual cuts of the members were revealed as well.

It looks like the rookie group will be continuing their strong female image with "Hate You", but according to the agency, Ladies' Code's upcoming title song is different from their debut song, "Bad Girl".
