Sports brand Adidas Originals picked girl group 2NE1 as Korea's representative in its campaign 'Unite all Originals'.

Adidas announced that 2NE1 has been selected to be in the 'Unite all Originals' campaign as a representative of all Korean musicians. The group will be working with legendary American hip hop group Run-DMC and DJ A-Trak.

Through this campaign, 2NE1 will create new music and music video with various contents that fans upload on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. Fans can join in by tagging their posts with #Unitewith2NE1. 2NE1 will select some of the works that they were inspired from and the lucky winners will be announced in the middle of October.

FT Island is coming back to the music scene with 6th anniversary special-edition album

On September 9, FNC Entertainment announced that FT Island will make a comeback with special album 'THANKS TO'. The new album consists of four new songs including two songs written by lead vocalist Lee Hongki and other two songs by Choi Jonghoon and Lee Jaejin.

The title track "Memory" was composed and written by Lee Hongki. It is a rock number with a very impressive, strong guitar sound along with a piano melody.

FT Island will release its new album 'THANKS TO' on September 23 and will hold its 6th anniversary concert, 'FTHX,' for two days on the 28th and 29th.

Minzy ranks herself among 2NE1 members based on appearance

Minzy recently ranked her fellow 2ne1 members and herself based on appearance.

On the September 8th broadcast of KBS 2TV's 'Mama Mia', Minzy appeared as guest along with her mother as part of the special "Korea's Representative Idols" episode.

During the show, Minzy was asked where she would place herself in 2NE1 when based on only looks. She chose herself as the third prettiest member, tied with CL.

When the MCs asked Minzy's mother to rank her daughter's looks, she agreed to her daughter's answer and said, "Tied for third", drawing laughter in the studio.

Go Jun Hee thanks fans for supporting Go Jun Hee-Jinwoon couple

The sweet couple of 2AM's Jinwoon and Go Jun Hee said their goodbyes on the September 7 episode of 'We Got Married', and to thank all of the viewers, the actress left a message on her agency's official Facebook page.

Go Jun Hee wrote, "I can't believe today is our last day. I feel like we started just a few days ago… Thank you to those who showed amazing supports for the two of us. I will greet you once again through a good production."

She also thanked her on-screen husband saying, "Also, my husband JinWoon. Thank you so much for trying and taking good care of me! I will keep cheering for you."

Park Shin Hye gets into character in teaser stills for ‘The Heirs’

Teaser stills of actress Park Shin Hye for the upcoming SBS TV Wed-Thu drama 'The Heirs' have been released.

Park Shin Hye will play the role of Cha Eun Sung, a girl born into poverty but still works hard through it. Park Shin Hye will be enacting a Korea's 0.1% love line with Lee Min Ho, Kim Woo Bin, Krystal and Kang Min Hyuk.

The first shooting took place on August 16 at a wedding hall located in Gangnam. The scene involved Park Shin Hye donning an apron and rubber gloves, as she washed dishes. Apparently, all her experience and preparation has helped her blend into her character perfectly.

A staff shared, "From the first shooting, Park Shin Hye is already showing her exceptional acting ability. She naturally exuded energy and proved why she was called one of the most leading actresses in the country."

A Pink's Eunji and Kim Hyun Joong suffered an embarrassing moment on the latest episode of SBS TV variety 'Barefoot Friends'.

On September 8th, 'Barefoot Friends' members went to visit cuisine researcher Lee Hye Jung with special guest A Pink's Eunji. During the show, the members had to pass a quiz in order to try Lee Hye Jung's cooking.

When asked about the capital of India during a quiz, Eunji was the first to answer as she confidently said, "Taj Mahal!", causing the members to explode in laughter. Kim Hyun Joong then added more hilarity by asking, "Isn't Taj Mahal a religion?"

After the broadcast, 'India's capital' and 'Taj Mahal' immediately became hotly searched terms on major search portals in Korea.

2PM to release new Japanese single ‘Winter Games’

Idol group 2PM, who are currently busy with individual activities, will be coming back together next month with new Japanese single 'Winter Games'.

On September 9th, 2PM unveiled the album jacket photo for its 7th Japanese single 'Winter Games', which is set to be released on October 16. The album contains two new songs including the title track "Winter Games" and "Stay Here".

The title track "Winter Games" was written by Japanese lyricist Natsumi Watanabe and composed by Super Changddai.

In addition, the group will hold 14 arena concerts in 5 different cities across Japan from 2014 January to March.

Actress Yoon Eun Hye, actor Lee Dong Gun, CNBLUE's Yonghwa and more gathered together for the first script reading session of the upcoming KBS drama, 'Future Choice'.

On September 4th, the first script reading for the new KBS Mon-Tues drama 'Future Choice' took place at the KBS 2TV Star Hall with actors Lee Dong Gun, Yoon Eun Hye, Jung Yonghwa, Han Chae Ah, Choi Myung Gil, Ko Doosim and more in attendance.

The reading session was held for over four hours and actors and actresses showed great concentration on the script with the passion and interest in the series. Director Kwon Kye Hong and writer Hong Jin Ah were also present to carefully direct every detail, coordinating for the first time with the actors.

'Future Choice' is a new kind of time slip drama about a girl Na Mirae who struggled her way up to become a television scriptwriter. She returns to the past to aid and advise for self development.

The drama will begin broadcasting on October 14, following 'Good Doctor.'

miss A members recently enjoyed their time together in Istanbul, Turkey.

On September 8, Jia posted a series of photos on her personal Twitter account. The photo showed miss A members Jia and Suzy looking pretty in their casual clothing. They seemed to be very excited at getting the chance to stroll around the city after the concert.

miss A participated in 'Music Bank in Istanbul' will took place at Ulker Sports Arena in Istanbul on September 7. Other artists included Super Junior, BEAST, MBLAQ, FT ISLAND and Ailee.

A Pink's Eunji recently expressed interest in INFINITE's Sunggyu.

The latest episode of 'Running Man' aired on September 8 featured a star-studded list of guests with the appearance of some of the biggest idol names in Hallyu including 2PM, B2ST, SISTAR, Girl's Day, MBLAQ, A Pink and INFINITE.

During the broadcast, A Pink members Eunji and Naeun were grouped together with Gary, while INFINITE's Sunggyu and L were with HaHa. While on the way to their next game, Gary grabbed the chance and asked Eunji to choose her ideal type between the two INFINITE members.

Eunji replied, "It would be Sunggyu oppa", and explained that it is "in terms of personality". When asked with the same question, Naeun answered, "They both are so charismatic", complimenting both of the members.

The goofy five-member girl group Crayon Pop is continuing the craze with a new version of their viral hit "Bar Bar Bar"!

On September 9th, Crayon Pop released a revamped music video titled "Bar Bar Bar 2.0", taking their comical "Straight-Five Engine Dance" choreography to another level. Aside from the group's signature helmets, they utilize new gears and props for the 2.0 version.

The filming of the new music video took place in various places throughout Seoul including Noksapyung Station, Garosu Street, Han River Amusement Park, and the Children's Grand Park.

Girls’ Generation’s Sooyoung visits Seohyun at ‘Passionate Love’ set

After receiving support from her fellow members in her recent drama, Girls' Generation's Sooyoung is returning the favor and visited Seohyun at the set of SBS TV's upcoming weekend drama 'Passionate Love'.

On September 8, the production team released still cuts of Seohyun and Sung Hoon, showing scenes of their meeting at the woods and studying together. Especially, another photo is gaining attention showing the couple posing with Sooyoung, who visited the filming set to show her support for the maknae.

Meanwhile, Seohyun will play the role of Han Yoo Rim, a popular university student with a smart brain, neat facial appearance and warm heart. Sung Hoon plays the adult Moo Yeol who grows up with family issues and pain from the loss of his former love Han Yoo Rim.

T-ara loses lawsuit against fashion brand Chatelaine

It has been reported that Core Contents Media lost their lawsuit against a fashion company 'Chatelaine' who terminated the contract with T-ara last year for their bullying rumors.

T-ara signed with Chatelaine in March 2012 but the girls received negative image after the bullying scandal broke in July of the same year. Chatelaine dissolved the contract and asked CCM to pay back twice the endorsement fee, totaling 400 million KRW as a penalty for breach of contract.

CCM filed a counter suit refusing to pay that amount since Chatelaine kept using T-ara as models on various advertisements about two months after the promissory note was written. However, the court ruled in favor of Chatelaine on September 8th and ordered CCM to pay Chatelaine 400,000,000 KRW.

CNBLUE releases teaser for first photobook ‘BLUE TRAVEL’

CNBLUE has just released a teaser video for upcoming first photobook collection titled, 'BLUE TRAVEL'.

'BLUE TRAVEL' photobook contains photos of the members in various locations, including the desert, beach, grasslands and public parks, all within Australia. The 180-page book will include a DVD of behind-the-scenes highlights from the shoot as well as autographed messages from all four members.

BTOB drops 3rd mini album ‘Thriller’

Having already showcased their upgraded selves on title track "Thriller", the boys of BTOB have finally dropped their third mini album of the same name on September 9th.

BTOB members personally participated in producing most songs on the album, setting their first step as composers. In particular, the track "Why" was produced by Cube Entertainment's senior artist B2ST's Lee Kikwang and BTOB's Hyunsik, while members MinHyuk and IlHoon participated in writing the lyrics as well.

Following Girl's Day Sojin, Ailee, Electroboyz and Big Star are the next artists to participate in the special tribute album for Deux.

On September 9th, Ailee released a remake version of Deux's "Go Away", which was originally dropped 19 years ago. She lent her powerful voice in the song's refrain while its rap parts were rendered by Electroboyz' Maboos and Chakun as well as Big Star's FeelDog.

Meanwhile, the tribute album was produced to mark 20th anniversary of DEUX and their music.

Hip-hop artist duo Rphabet has released a video teaser for their upcoming single "Black Suit".

Rphabet recently signed with Woollim Entertainment, home to popular idol group INFINITE and TASTY. He has previously worked with INFINITE on "Destiny", TASTY's "You Know Me" and more.

"Black Suit" marks the duo's first release under the agency and it will feature rapper San-E. The song hints at another smooth hip-hop composition and it will be released on September 12th.
