K-Pop sensation Psy is making his comeback this September and many international music talents have contributed to make his new album.

According to YG Entertainment's chief Yang Hyun Suk, "Many famous musicians have participated in Psy's new album. Psy always wanted to work with them, and they are really amazing musicians", raising much anticipation for the album.

Psy is currently staying in Los Angeles and working with songwriter Yoo Gun Hyung, who previously worked with Psy on "Gangnam Style" and "Gentleman". The agency also revealed that they have yet to decide whether the tracks should be sung in Korean or English.

TVXQ’s ‘Scream’ debuts #2 on the Oricon

TVXQ's new Japanese single 'Scream' made a strong debut on Oricon's daily chart.

According to latest Oricon chart rankings released on September 5, TVXQ's 'Scream' grabbed the second spot of the Oricon Daily Single Chart after selling over 57,000 copies on the first day of release.

The new single has been used as the soundtrack for the second installment of Japanese horror film 'Sadako 3D' which was released in Japanese theaters on August 30.

Goo Hye Sun to sing for Lee Bo Young and Ji Sung’s wedding

Goo Hye Sun will sing the congratulatory song at Lee Bo Young and Ji Sung's upcoming wedding.

On September 5, YG Entertainment announced that Goo Hye Sun will sing her own song "It's You" at Lee Bo Young and Ji Sung's to be held at W Seoul Walkerhill Hotel on September 27. The song was composed and written by Goo Hye Sun and expresses about the feeling of falling in love at first sight.

Goo Hye Sun and Lee Bo Young first met through the 2006 SBS drama, 'Song of the Prince'. They remained close friends even after the drama's conclusion.

Big Bang’s G-Dragon tops iTunes charts in eight countries with new album

Big Bang's G-Dragon rises to the top of iTunes charts across eight countries with his comeback solo second full-length 'Coup d'Etat'.

According to his agency, YG Entertainment, "Part 1 of G-Dragons' second full album is currently at the top of eight countries' iTunes album charts and the title track 'Who You?' and 'BLACK' have also topped single charts, showing a strong momentum."

G-Dragon's new songs are receiving enthusiastic responses not only from abroad but in Korea as well. The Part 1 album's tracks swept the charts immediately after release, lining at the top ranks from first place to fifth on local charts.

Girl’s Day participates in volunteer work in Thailand

Girl's Day members have revealed photos from their recent volunteer work in Thailand.

On September 4th, the group's management agency Dream Tea Entertainment announced that Girl's Day members recently got back from Thailand where they participated in volunteer activities.

As the honorary ambassadors of children's development and child sponsorship program Plan Korea, Girl's Day departed to Thailand on August 27 for a four-day volunteer trip with the organization. They visited Mueang Chiang Rai region, which is about an hour of flight and three hours of drive away from Bangkok.

During their visit, the members met a woman named Namiki who had wed at just 16 years old but was abandoned by her husband after giving birth to a son. To allow Namiki to feel the warmth of family, Girl's Day took photos with her family and helped them to get physical examinations.

Girl's Day said, "We felt very sorry for the people who were living through daily struggles at young ages, and it was also a great chance for us to look back at ourselves. The side effects of early marriage were too severe. Although this is only volunteer work, we were able to derive many meanings of life from them."

On September 5th, the Seoul International Drama Awards, an annual award show for excellence in television drama production based in Seoul, took place at the National Theater of Korea. Hosted by Lee Seong Jae and miss A's Suzy, the ceremony was aired live through MBC, Youtube, and Ustream, reaching out to 120 countries all at the same time.

The 8th edition of the Seoul International Drama Awards is a festival that brings together all professionals in the field of TV drama production and media industry and global audiences who enjoy television dramas. The prize winner has been selected by combination of the results from online voting (70%) and SDA Organizing Committee's evaluation (30%).

In addition, KARA, 4minute, B.A.P, 2EYES and K.Will performed their respective hit tracks, giving entertainment to both stars and audiences who were in attendance at the awards ceremony.

KARA finally made their long awaited comeback through the September 5th episode of Mnet 'M Countdown' with their title song "Damaged Lady".

"Damaged Lady" is the title track to KARA's fourth full-length album 'Full Bloom' which was released on September 2. The song was written by Song Soo Yun and composed by musical duo Sweetune.

KARA's new rock-inspired sound highlight more than a sleek and edgy image. Six years into its career, the ladies are proving to still have a few tricks up its sleeve and illustrate that they have a style all their own in their latest performance.

Actor Lee Byung Hun has been appointed the PR ambassador of the Association of Film Commissioners International Cineposium (AFCI Cineposium).

On September 4, Lee Byung Hun received a special plaque at the Association of Film Commissions International General Assembly press conference held at Art Nine in Sadang.

AFCI Cineposium will be held in Asia for the first time to educate the film commissions and share knowledge of the current issues revolving around the film industry.

Actors Kim Bum and Lee Kwang Soo recently treated the staff of MBC TV Mon-Tue drama 'Goddess of Fire, Jeongi' to a delicious meal.

200 servings ginseng chicken soup and other goodies were delivered at the filming set of 'Goddess of Fire, Jeongi' in Yongin. The treat was put together by Kim Bum and Lee Kwang Soo who are both starring together in the drama. They wanted to cheer up fellow actors and staff who spent days and nights filming the drama.

Girls' Generation's Seohyun and her fellow castmates recently attended the first script-reading session for SBS TV's upcoming weekend drama 'Passionate Love'.

Photographs from the script-reading session were revealed online and garnered interest amongst drama lovers. Cast members Seohyun, Sung Hoon, Choi Yoon Young, Jun Mi Sun, Jun Kwang Ryul, Woo Hee Jin, and more were in attendance at the SBS Tanhyeon Production Center. The script reading went on for four hours and it was reported that the mature cast's professionalism drew praise from the staff at the event.

G-Dragon donates a fish farm for Haiti

Big Bang's G-Dragon donated a fish farm to people in Haiti.

Following the finale of his 'One of a Kind' world tour in Seoul on August 31 and September 1, G-Dragon decided to work with 'YG With', a social well being campaign hosted by YG Entertainment. He previously worked with the campaign to build a school in Nepal, and this time, he opened a special booth to donate a fishery in Haiti.

Many fans were invited to participate in the event by donations, and all of the collected donations will be used for 'Fish 4 Life' campaign, a worldwide project that will help the citizens of Haiti by creating facilities for fish farming.

Meanwhile, G-Dragon will be releasing the second half of his 2nd solo regular album on September 5th, and the full album will be released on September 13th.

The star-studded cast of upcoming SBS drama 'The Heirs' gathered together at the first script reading session.

The script reading was held on September 5 at the SBS Production Center and most of the cast including Lee Min Ho, Park Shin Hye, Kim Sung Ryung, f(x)'s Krystal, Choi Jin Hyuk, Kim Woo Bin, ZE:A's Hyungsik, CNBLUE's Minhyuk, Kim Ji Won, Lim Joo Eun and more were in attendance.

Writer Kim Eun Sook and producer Kang Si Hyo were also present to observe. They discussed characters and scripts with the cast after the reading and expressed their trust in the cast.

'The Heirs' is a collaboration between Kim Eun Sook who wrote 'Secret Garden' and 'A Gentleman's Dignity' and Kang Sin Hyo who produced 'The War Of Flower' and 'Midas'. The drama deals with the love and life of wealthy students and a girl who has nothing but poverty to inherit.
