K-Pop Star 2’s Shin Ji Hoon to debut with a track produced by B2ST’s Junhyung

Shin Ji Hoon, a former contestant on the SBS survival audition program 'K-Pop Star 2', wil be making her official debut later this month.

According to her agency, Cube DC, Shin Ji Hoon, who is also a figure skater, has recently completed recording her new song and filming a new music video. Her debut album title track is produced by Yong JunHyung and composer Kim TaeJoo.

A representative added, "The title song is a ballad track that will suit to Shin Ji Hoon's crystal clear and elegant voice. Listeners will discover a different side of Shin Ji Hoon other than her original image in 'K-Pop Star 2'."

Big Bang’s Seungri tops Oricon with 1st Japanese album

Big Bang's Seungri, who actively promoting in Japan with his stage name V.I, has made an explosive debut on the Oricon chart with his latest release.

According to Oricon website, Seungri's first Japanese solo album 'Let's Talk About Love' debuted at the top of Oricon's Daily Album Chart by selling 14,509 units on the first day of its release.

In addition to title track "Let's Talk About Love" which is the Japanese version of his Korean single of the same title, Seungri's first Japanese album includes his self-composed song "Sorani Ekaku Omoi". The song has been chosen as the theme song for the upcoming UULA drama 'Yubi Koi'.

Yoon Jong Shin says he will allow Kim Ye Rim to date publicly

Yoon Jong Shin gave Kim Ye Rim his permission to date publicly.

In the recent broadcast of MBC's 'Radio Star' aired on October 9th, Super Junior's Ryeowook, who was one of the guests, said, "Kim Ye Rim is so pretty that it's hard to approach her", expressing his interest for the singer.

To this, MC Kim Gura asked the president of Kim Ye Rim's management agency, Yoon Jong Shin, "Would you allow Kim Ye Rim to date publicly?" Yoon Jong Shin answered, "I don't interfere with her dating life. If you want to, go for it," giving her permission to date publicly.

Actor Lee Min Ho revealed that he doesn't think he is handsome.

On October 9th, the actor appeared on SBS 'One Night of TV Entertainment' with fellow cast members of 'The Heirs', and sat down for an interview.

On this day, Lee Min Ho revealed that he did not find himself very good-looking explaining, "My really thick double eyelids and face is my insecurity." He also added that he thinks that his co-stars Kim Woo Bin and ZE:A's Hyungsik are charming men.

He said, "Hyungsik has a cute look, and Kim Woo Bin has charismatic, manly face."

Getting ready for official debut, Stardom Entertainment's upcoming group introduced its fourth member named, Yano.

TOPP DOGG already introduced its first three members B-Joo, Hojoon and P-Goon, and now the fourth member Yano has been revealed, showing their different individual charms.

The group consists of thirteen members and will be the first boy group for Stardom Entertainment since Block B left the agency. While they already showcased their sound with a few mixtape tracks, it is said that TOPP DOGG will have a different concept than Block B.

TOPP DOGG will be making its official debut on October 24th.

Returing to fans earlier than expected, SHINee delivered their first comeback performance of "Everybody" on tonight's 'M! Countdown' ahead of its official release on the 14th.

"Everybody" is a 'Complextro' number with catchy melody and funky rhythm. The song sings about memories of childhood which are all deeply hidden in everyone's hearts.

The choreography of "Everybody" was designed Tony Testa, who is one of the most well-known choreographer in the world. He also worked with SHINee for the choreography of the group's past hits "Sherlock" and "Dream Girl".

IU dances in her “Red Shoes” on ‘M! Countdown’

After sweeping off the charts with her latest release, talented female soloist IU is ready to take over the weekly music programs with her comeback title song, "Red Shoes".

"Red Shoes" was co-written by the Lee Min Soo and Kim Eena after getting inspired by Andersen's cruel fairytale ,'The Red Shoes'. The song has a 1930s big bang swing sound with a mix of classical and vintage. To express the swing feel most vividly, IU recorded the song with a famous jazz orchestra in Japan.

T-ara returns to ‘M! Countdown’ stage with “Number 9” and “Because I Know”

Making yet another epic comeback, T-ara released their 8th mini album 'Again' featuring its double title tracks "Number 9" and "Because I Know".

On October 10th, T-ara kickstarted a new round of full-scale promotions, diving straight to the 'M! Countdown' stage tonight for their explosive comeback performances of newest releases.

"Number Nine" is an energetic dance song co-composed by Sinsadong Tiger and composer Choi Gyu Sung. In contrast, "I Know The Feeling" is a sad song that is perfectly suited for the chilly autumn season.

Jung Joong Young debuts “Ten Minutes Before Breaking Up” on ‘M! Countdown’

Having released his first album earlier, vocalist Jung Joon Young delivered his rocking debut performance of "Ten Minutes Before Breaking Up" on 'M! Countdown'.

"Ten Minutes Before Breaking Up" is a rock ballad produced by Score, the producer who also worked with artists Younha and Primary. The song has sad lyrics describing a man's perspective on the last ten minutes before breaking up.

Making a cameo appearance, Jung Yoo Mi played Jung Joon Young's girlfriend in the music video. Jung Joon Young and Jung Yoo Mi are currently an on-screen couple on MBC's 'We Got Married'.

Nine Muses bring their “Gun” to ‘M! Countdown’

Ahead of their anticipated comeback, Nine Muses performed their comeback title song "Gun" for the first time on this week's broadcast of 'M! Countdown'.

The title song "Gun" features a brass and blues feel along with a electronic guitar sound. It is the work of hit producer Sweetune, who also worked on their previous songs.

The dancing diva Kahi is making her return to the music scene and she is kicking off her first comeback stage for title song "It's Me" on this week's episode of 'M! Countdown'.

Earlier today, Kahi released her new mini album 'Who Are You?' and music video for title track "It's Me". The song features Dumbfoundead, and the music and lyrics are composed by Alice Sky, who was revealed to be singer Rottyful Sky who passed away after battling a brain tumor.

According to Pledis Entertainment, Kahi put all her heart in preparing for her comeback, and personally participated in the entire album production.

Singapore, 4 October 2013 – Girls' Generation's sub-group TaeTiSeo (also known as Girls Generation-TTS) members - Taeyeon, Tiffany and Seohyun - will be joining the biggest K-pop concert of the year - "Starhub presents MBC Korean Music Wave in Singapore" - as the official MCs.

TaeTiSeo is the first official sub-unit of top South Korean girl group Girls' Generation formed by S.M. Entertainment in 2012. The group's name is made up of the first syllables of Taeyeon, Tiffany, and Seohyun and this name has the letters "T" and "S", which have distinct sounds, giving a strong vibe of the team and also lets the fans recognize the members instantly.

Their debut mini-album release "Twinkle" became an instant hit and was featured in many prominent charts. Since then, the trio has gained widespread popularity and recognition.

"Starhub Presents MBC Korean Music Wave" is an open-air mega concert to be held on November 16th at Gardens by the Bay featuring 13 of the hottest names in K-pop including SHINee, EXO, 2PM, 2AM, F.T. Island, B1A4, TeenTop, B.A.P, Kara, Sistar, Miss A, IU, and 4Minute.

Jointly organized by one of South Korea's biggest broadcasters, Munhwa Broadcasting Corporation and Singapore-based Fatfish Entertainment, Music Wave is the largest ever multi-band K-pop concert and the first of its kind in Singapore. Taeyeon, Tiffany and Seohyun will hold the all-important role of being MCs for this 3-hour extravaganza.

B.A.P’s Japanese debut single enters Top 5 on Oricon

B.A.P has made satisfying debut on Oricon's chart with their first Japanese single "Warrior".

According to Japan's Oricon Chart on October 9, B.A.P's Japanese debut single, "Warrior" grabbed the fifth place on the Oricon's Daily Singles chart.

The single will be the Japanese version of their Korea debut album of the same title released in January 2012. Ahead of their official debut, B.A.P held 'B.A.P Live on Earth in Japan' back in June, and received a lot of interest with powerful performances.

Meanwhile, B.A.P is scheduled to tour cities in Japan including Kobe, Nagoya, and Tokyo in November.

Japanese fans start a petition for DSP Media to allow Nicole in KARA

KARA's Japanese fans have come together to start a fan petition during the group's first concert at the Yokohama Arena on October 9th.

Volunteer petitioners started to gather signatures to make DSP Media allow Nicole to remain a part of KARA. The signature campaign is set to continue throughout KARA's Japanese tour to seven different locations including Yokohama, Fukuoka, Osaka, and Nagoya. They plan to gather as many signatures as possible, and then pass them to DSP Media.

The petition started after Nicole expressed her hope to continue promoting with KARA even after her contract with DSP Media expires next January.

In addition, KARA's contract with Universal Music, which is their Japanese distributor, will also expire in December. Fans are worried that Universal Music will not allow members with a different contract to work with KARA.

MYNAME unveils music preview for third single album

Idol group MYNAME, who is gearing up to make a comeback later this week, gives fans a sneak peek at their upcoming third single album with a music preview of the tracks.

MYNAME will pre-release a new single "Day by Day" on October 11, prior to the release of the entire single album three days later on the 14th.
